:uhh: You just have to kinda memorize after awhile the whole area, basically what I do. The FF games (1-9) comprised of your character running on an outer world, and only go into a town or dungeon when ever you step on one. Personally, I prefer 10 and 12 because they allow you to experience everything first hand, not just have a small character walking around till they hit a town. Also im surprised Nadril, How hard is the battle system for you? How far are you? I just started, so I just grouped up in the sewers with those 2 pirates and that one other chick thats a temp person. I'm loving the battle system so far, its so much better than the old ones.

Not sure what it's like in the other FF's but I've been playing number 12 and it hasn't bothered me too much. I do wish there was a shortcut though to get to the map of the current town you're in, its agrivating going to options > world map > town > district (or w/e).

This post is largely liked on the media board so I figured we deserved one too. The basic idea of this post is to just post what you're playing at the time, what you're doing in that game, whatever. Please make sure to hide any possible spoilers about the game you are playing! I don't want anyone to get mad that you ruined one for them (even if the game is old). I'll start it off: I just got a used PS2 (roomate went half and half with me, cost like $80 for a refurbished one) so I got FF12 and God of war for it. He also had Guitar hero 2. So I've been mostly playing through Final Fantasy XII and grinding up in Lineage II so far. Guitar hero II is great for when I have like 30mins to kill in between classes. As far as FF12 goes I'm surprised. I've never really liked the series but the new battle system in FF12 is great IMO. Really puts a lot more into the game and it means I don't have to suffer through a 5min fight every 10-15 steps. :P Almost level 40 in Lineage II on my PK (going to be a BD) and having a great time. As far as guitar hero 2 goes I have it pretty much mastered on medium difficulty and am working on hard difficulty. I kind of suck though because I've been playing it for like... 3 days. :P With that lets see what you guys are currently playing.

Half life (PC) Half life 2 (PC) Bioshock (PC / Xbox 360) Chrono Trigger (SNES) Baulders Gate II: Shadow of Ahn (PC) those are probably my top 5. Bioshock is definitely the most recent one but deserves it.

There isn't such a thing as a 1000x800 res for a monitor. :P Its probably 1024x768 or 1280x1024. :P

You could build something decent for near that price, but definitely not buy a store bought one for that much that would be any good. @Blade: I think the GTX should be able to handle crysis at 1600x1200. I don't know how much the requirements are going to differ between it and bioshock but at a 1680x1050 resolution bioshock runs very well on my machine. I think with a video card that has near 3x the ammount of memory mine does and a superior processor/ram he shouldn't have much of a problem. Also I would get a widescreen monitor if you can tigra. Its pretty much needed to be able to support widescreen these days and it looks amazing. My 22" widescreen cost something around like $250 or so probably, its definitely worth adding. I'm also with sticking to the 680i motherboard. That way if you're really insane (in the membrane) you can SLI two 8800GTXs. 8-)

All processors come with thermal paste just some are pre applied. Pre-applied/shipped with thermal paste isn't too good, good thermal paste (like the stuff I posted) will drop the temp by between 1 (Arctic silver clam by the minimum of 3) - 12C. Even if your using the stock heatsink :thumbsup: . Tigra00, good to see your checking the thread. ok :P .

Some processors (IIRC) don't use thermal paste for their own heatsinks, I know mine doesn't. You do want it for the heatsink though. I would deffinitly get a bigger hard drive, I have a 360GB HD and am fairly happy with it. With how big games are these days (easily 10gb+ each) you'll fill up something fast.

Sure I have over 1500AP but I have just over 6,600HP. Not exactly the sort of thing I had in mind when I wanted to get to 70. Started back on D2 with a Druid... I played to level 5 and got bored. I think I might have some sort of attention disorder. :wall: Ouch 6.6k hp? I had almost 9k in my PvP gear and my gear wasn't that great. :-k I mostly got bored but really the reason I quit was because my new internet sucks balls, ah well. I probably would have quit sooner or later.

Actually he was the Pope which is far from king. Not everyone believes we evolved. And there's nothing wrong with it I just don't see why one theory can be embraced by the government while the other is shooed away by "separation of church and state". because one is a scentific theory (read my deffinition earlier in the 3rd page) supported by numerous facts while another is based off of blind faith (and not a theory in the same meaning evolution is). Thats a pretty poor conclusion. Are you saying that the dinosaurs never existed because we never experienced it? Or, perhaps, the holocaust or other events in the past don't/didn't exist because we weren't there? Where in the world are you getting its a religion from? :shock:
