So you think that the leaves (the green abstract) should be brightened and the water is fine? I was actually thinking the same thing while working on it, but my roomate wanted to get in some leveling on lineage II so I stopped there. I'll try and see what I can do, the abstract is on its own layer.

It looks nice really. Its not too messy, decent work on a focal point for the guy as well. The border is also a nice touch to it. Not much to really say on it. I'm not too sure on the background but it works for what you were trying to do.

Thanks. I wasn't sure what to really do about the lighting issue. I didn't want the middle (light water) part to be too light and to take away the focus so I darkened it a bit. I may mess around with it a bit more later.

updated Just working on more of these (abstract/photomanips) and came up with this. Trying to work on my composition a bit, hopefully you'll like it.

new computer is really vauge, whats its specs? (I don't think its a problem but worth asking at least). Try what these people are saying. Also does the lag just hit in [bleep]es (like you move to walk and its working fine and then just gives you a big lag [bleep]e and you jump ahead) or is it just kind of smooth.

You do bring a good point. However I think that quad core will work just fine. Any game that doesn't support it (only supports 1 or 2 cores) should be old enough that it'll run just fine on a quad core processor. Games coming out in the future are made to take advantage of all the cores and thats where quad core will come out ahead. It will also help when multitasking because programs can technicly get their own core working on the processes. (correct me if I'm wrong about this, I know you can get it to do that but I don't know if its automatic)

Just a note to anyone here but, unless you've experienced vista recently (like the past few months and not a beta version/ release version) you aren't qualified to say anything about it. Vista is not a big deal. I don't use it but my roomate does, and he's only had one problem with it. (which wasn't vistas problem).

I was trying to think how to put what I thought into words, and this is exactly it. Humans are the dominent species. As long as we are beinifiting I don't really see a problem. Its not something you can say is right or wrong, it just sort of is.

Likewise. I was a little disapointed that in multiplayer I couldn't have all the cool physics on my DX9 rig, but single player will be fine. Heres to me thinking I still had time on DX9. :lol:

Anarchy Online is probably one of the best quality free MMO's out there right now. Takes some learning to get used to but its very in depth. Beyond that you're looking at various korean grind fests.

Just chipping in but having that many finds for a first time running a program isn't a big deal. I remember the first time running spybot search and destroy on my old machine, I got a ton of hits and none of them were really bad.

I think that they were justified personally. The largest reason is that many believe that more lives would be lost on a land invasion. The only downside to the bomb is that many innocent lives that weren't involved in the war were lost.

The thing with him snapping at you , which I don't even think he did, is if you don't quite know what your talking about with logs and you say the wrong file and the poster deletes his computer could be seriously screwed up. The tests you said you were going to run it through, would this include http://www.hijackthis.de ? That site can be helpful but it can also give false positives or not pickup some nasties. yeah Hijack this has a real potential to really cause more problems with a PC if someone recommends something without knowing what it is. Thats why I stay away from these threads, I don't want to screw anyones PC up. :oops:

My room mate got 650k for a high score, but I only got like 35k. Got bored.

Physics cards are only supported by a few games right now and just aren't worth it considering how well dual and quad core can deal with physics.

Yeah I've been trying to think of another possible color scheme that would work well with it, I'm not too fond of the orange either. Thanks for the comment ter :) .
