You really should give gears a shot, it was a brilliant FPS (unlike halo ;D). I find it kind of funny people are voting Halo 3 for the best when it hasn't even been released yet. Anyways my vote is probably Gears of War, however thats mostly just basing from exclusives. I'd definitely pick Bioshock but its not really an exclusive.

Why I wasted my time playing that instead of just hopping on TF2 is beyond me. I got like 1700 points or something... IDK. Boring game.

Canibal corpse doesn't even have that bad of lyrics anymore, especially in their newer albums the lyrics seem tame compared to other bands. At least they don't pull of the crap Gorogoth did in Poland. :shock: (Short story short they had 4 people pretending to be crucified on crosses on stage, with blood all over them and naked and bags over their head. There was a ton of goats blood over the stage and goat (I think) heads on pikes near the front. They definitely got in trouble for that show :/) ps: i do agree that the "metal heads only" title is a tad annoying.

I decided to mess around with rainforest a bit, came out with this: new old I'm torn to which version I like better. :P Also I have C4D once again on my machine so expect some 3D models/renders coming from me soon...ish. Now I just need terragen again and I'm set. :thumbsup:

Thanks. Hopefully I can get Terragen installed sometime this week again and give it a go. Haven't done a landscape in a while and I want to.

Generally its just to push out more performance. Some things really overclock better than others (some of the intel 2 duo core processors are a beast to OC) while others you won't really get much of a gain. To be honest unless you are having problems or are running slow in a game I wouldn't bother risking Overclocking unless you're a nut who likes to get every last ounce of power out of your rig. Personally I'm waiting until I possibly need to over clock, mostly because I'm running on stock cooling. I'm going to see how stuff like Crysis runs and then decide.

Any windows XP repair CD should do the trick, at least I'm almost positive. Have you gotten any BSOD's as well before, or is it just that? The reason I'm asking is my roomate had the same problem, we thought his hard drive crapped out on us but the problem just sort of went away after I tried some tests (testing the memory to see if its good, ect.) It was an odd situation though and if at all possible just using the repair CD would be miles easier than hoping for it to spring back to life.

It'll be out on 360. I've been playing it all tonight, really great game. A lot of it is just very nice little touches (like taking a screenshot of the player who killed you XD) and just in general its very smooth for a beta.

edit: dunno if I can open up a shop, might have to ask a mod about it.

Thanks guys. I'm still not sure if I'd get enough work if I did do a signature shop for real money, anyone have any ideas about that? Also I'm kind of hoping to get acquainted with Blender some more. I don't have a lot of stuff on this PC including 3D modeling programs. :-$

The first one is pretty meh. Its really flat, has no depth and the color scheme is odd. The new one however is much better. Good job on the colors, the focal point is nice and it isn't overdone. It also has a lot more depth.

I didn't say we necessarily have to treat them like crap. What I said is that if the by product is an animal(s) dying to help humans than I am for it. I do think that you shouldn't go out of your way to harm them for when it doesn't have a purpose. Hunting wise I'm fine with, mostly because there are rules and it does help control population of them.

I haven't heard of these so more info would be great. I'm sure theres an explanation for them all.

Too busy for my tastes, and the focal point is pretty basic. Not too sure about the stroke on the text too. Its not bad for a first attempt however and the colors are good.

Interesting idea. Something doesn't feel right in it though, I can't really pin it. Maybe too much to the right of the photographer, kind of drawing my eye away. Nice idea.

Not bad. My biggest problem is a lot of them are much too blurry, I'd get acquainted with the sharpen tool if I were you. :)
