Okay, humans may royally suck, but it's not like we're supposed to be rooting for a giant rock here -_-". I'm not rooting for the giant rock, but the things on it. I'm a big lover of nature and all that good stuff. But, I'm also very hypocritical as I love eating meat and do other not-so-envirnmentally-great things. I love human life, but we really are a plague to this planet and everything that lives here. And humans aren't part of nature, AMIRITE? :wink: I only hope that the future will be cool before I die. :P

I question whether claiming you "love the person" when you hate an act that is the result of the very core of who that person is and how he or she defines himself can ever be anything other than empty words. And I third ctp's statement. Was my example not good enough? Theres a difference between making a mistake (shoplifting/whatever) because or poor judgment and homosexuality. Those are all good rules. Especially pre-college the first one is good because most of the time kids interrupting just ruin the class. I really don't see what is so strange about those.

I'm sorry but thats a pretty stupid suggestion considering vista costs around $150-$250. Not everyone can just throw away that kind of money -- especially when the problem can be fixed. :roll:

Then you're quite silly. (if you say that, then what you said about Microsoft OSX (aka Vista) (aka Requires more RAM than HDD space). Besides, Xp will end up over-running Vista, MS have said they'll stop supportin' Xp after SP3 (prove me wrong if im incorrect, I probably am). Loads of people won't bother updating and MS will have no choice but to make an SP4 imo. Vista is fine. The only problem I have seen on my roomates PC (who runs vista) is that they try and over protect you a bit, which is a bit of a problem sometimes for certain games. Easy enough to get around though. And remember everyone said they wouldn't go to XP when 98 came out? That XP was nothing more than a fancy new graphic shell and what not? Give it time, Vista will overtake as far as OS's go in time.

Nope don't have an ATI control panel. Since this is just onboard graphics on a laptop and not a proper card I wouldn't expect that kind of thing anyway. Well I'd think it would still be on an onboard. I'm kind of lost if you can't actually install new drivers. Perhaps, since they aren't working anyways, you could uninstall them and reinstall? Just an idea -- really a shot in the dark though.

Sounds like vista isn't recognizing your ATI drivers or your card at all. I know Nvida has it, and I think ATI does, but do you have your own control panel for that? Like I have a Nvida Control Panel which I can change resolution on it. Either way I think its probably just an issue with drivers. I don't use Vista so its kind of hard for me to say.

Logitech is a great brand. I'm still using the mouse I got a good 4 years ago probably, an MX518. Just amazing.

:lol: . Are you playing anything more demanding then runescape? If so why did you get a very nice quad core and 3 gigs of ram? If you're playing other games get an 8800GTX 640mb, or if you can wait wait for the 9k series to come out. I still can't really wrap around my head how you could get such an amazing processor (I'd kill for that) but a horrible card. ps: I'm with blade in I'd get a 640MB card, I think the 320mb might get bottlenecked.

I was a huge MTG fan back in the day. I played for a few years (probably 6th-8th grade, then a bit in like 10th/11th/12th grade [but not often]). Used to play battle royal games with a group of maybe 5 of my friends. Those games got interesting quick and were a lot of fun. :) I used to be an awesome deck builder. I wasn't the best at the game (at least then) but man I could build a mean deck. I remember having a red summoning deck (I could get out tons of goblins, and had that ship where is power is equal to the number of creatures you have) and I had a really nasty green/red deck. I also toyed around with a lot of other decks, including an artifact deck, black deck, ect. Great game really -- great game. Was expensive like others said but not all that bad. I probably have a good 2000 cards at my house just kind of sitting there. :) I also played pokemon when I was a kid too for a bit, kind of a fun game back then.

I remember that game. :D Is there a site somewhere or something where you can get old DOS games like it? I rented the 'rock the 80s' Guitar Hero today. Has some pretty good songs on it, favorite so far though are wrathchild by iron maiden and Electric eye by Judas priest :D
