Personally I think they need to act fast. I agree that, yes, if they drop the price that will help. However they also need to get some more exclusives out (other than MGS4) to really help the system. My reasoning right now is that sony has lost a lot of exclusives over to microsoft. Because of this its just more wise to get a 360 because its cheaper and has a lot of the same kind of games, and its own exclusives. So yeah if sony does act (which they need to if they want to stay in the 'race') then I see it doing much better. However right now all the negative publicity is really hurting its sales. What I'm talking about you wrote like... 2-3 weeks ago. Oh well, no matter.

The Ps2 didn't really have any competition though. The xbox wasn't out yet and I don't think the gamecube was either whenever ps2 was 'expensive'. Its only competition was the dreamcast. The Ps3 on the other hand has tough competition, and many people would rather get a system for cheaper if it is going to have a lot of the same titles on it. What I'm trying to say is that Sony does need to step it up a notch.

End game is what you make of it really, it can either be a lot of fun or incredibly boring. I was mostly into raiding when I played but that wasn't that often. End game PvP is ok, but not great by any means. Also if you can't get up to 70 you really need to play something different. WoW is incredibly easy in that aspect. Anyways how are you guys doing? I've picked up Lineage II again and having a blast personally.

Paying over $500 in equipment and then $50 to just play one mediocre game? Why should this question ever pop up? WSAD + mouse + left click/right click + mouse scroll + shift + Ctrl (crouch). Thats all I need for an FPS on a PC. Analog stick 1 + analog stick 2 + A/B button + R trigger/L trigger + X/Y button (weapon switch). Its the same amount of buttons except on the PC you have much, much more control over everything.

@ Your first statement. Thankyou I'm glad you accept my views and way of life, exactly like you accept a homosexuals way of life. I'm glad there's no hypocrisy there. @ Your question. My answer to that is I believe whole-heartedly that homosexuality doesn't contribute to the good of society in anyway, and this act increasing won't help society as a whole in anyway. Its not making society more selfish, all of society as a whole is contributing to it becoming a more selfish generation. Hopefully we change this trend in our Western Societies but I'm quite pessimistic about it. Stop beating around the bush, how does homosexuality HURT society? You know, if I really wanted to I could say that homosexuality does help, as a method of population control. If someone is homosexual than their only means of a child is to adopt (or if it is a female to find a sperm donor) but none the less its still significant. With all the overpopulating in the world today its good to be able to not have everyone popping out babies non-stop. There, a reason why homosexuality helps society. Now that that is out of the way tell me why homosexuality hurts society. Also you know its possible to be Christian but not do anything right? There are a lot of religious people who don't pick up a finger to help anyone, should I lump them in with the entire religion and say it doesn't do anything? No, that would be unfair. Like any major group of people some do more than others to help society. There are many people who are gay that also help and contribute a lot to society, stop thinking of everything as a group and more as individuals and you too would see that.

QFT :D. I also have been dying to know what happens in EP:2. The moment I heard that the entire mystery over the G-Man was going to be expanded on I nearly wet myself. =P~ Also I do know that the game is going to come to a climatic end around EP:3, the devs stated that after EP:3 they will think where the series is going. I can't wait.

Really the reason why blue-ray is better is developers don't have to jump through hoops to get a movie or something on it. HD-DVD you need to get permission. Either way the point everyone is trying to get off right now is that the PS3's price is too much considering what you could get. I mean, you could get a 360 and a Wii for around as much the PS3 would cost you. Hardware wise, even though the PS3 is supposed to have superior hardware, the 360 has been winning in all sorts of benchmark tests. Madden 07 runs at 60 fps steady on the 360, but only 30 fps with actual lag [bleep]e drops on the Ps3? How can you explain that, considering it is the same game? I'm looking forward to seeing what they can bring. However sony does need to act fast because a lot of publishers are moving over to do games on the 360 instead. It makes them a lot more money to develop a game for both 360 and PS3 instead of just the PS3, and thats really hurting the PS3 (who wants to pay more for a system that has a lot of the same games?) Pretty much Sony needs to build back up their rep, they are getting a lot of negative plubicity lately.

I've really never been bullied. When I was in elementry school I usually ended up making friends with the 'tough guy' in the class so it never got to me. When I was older I really just kind of stuck to myself and my friends and didn't bother anyone. Basicly I was too nice to bully, even for the bullies when I was younger. :lol: I never really saw traditional bullies past middle school.

We do exist, I don't see how you could question that either. Even if we only exist as some strange fragment of someones imagination we still do exist, in imagination.

Scientific views do change, and dramatically. Look at how people explained stuff scientifically in the 1400's and look at, as an example, Christianity (religion). Now look at science at 2007 and religion at 2007. :wink: Point is it does change, even drastically. However trying to explain something by coming up with a guess out of thin error doesn't get us anywhere. We have to stick by general ideas we already know or its not going to get us anywhere. Look at quantum physics for example. Its very much relatively new and is going to areas where we've never dared to think about before. Questions that can't be answered using normal theories are getting expanded without trying to come up with, again, a guess in the dark. Heres another thing. Right now a lot of these large 'mysteries' that are 'unexplainable' can be explained. Look at these threads from the past week for example. A scary picture of a ghost can be explained as either yourself seeing things, over exaggerating something or a technological failure (flash from a camera, ect.)

We don't need another thread about yet another poor theory about 9/11.

Just finished playing Bioshock, brilliant game. I don't know why some of you are complaining, I run widescreen and have no problems. There is a fix out there already for widescreen and even without it it really doesn't bother me. Simply put its one of the best games to come out of the past few years. Spoilers: [hide]So I got the 'evil' ending of the game. After the little sisters finished off 'atlas' (forgot his actual name) it went to the cutsceen. I killed and harvested every last one of them and then actually went above the sea and took over not only rapture but the world above. The game was brilliant in my opinion. The scene with Ryan was an eye opener. I always thought that atlas might be evil but I never stopped to think that I was created by him as nothing more than a tool. I actually felt kind of bad when the little sisters were helping me there in the end, even though they knew I killed many of them. The final fight against atlas was great too. However I do still have a lot of...unanswered questions which were brought up. There were a lot of bibles littered on the ground in the game, and I would hear those sometimes singing "god loves me yes he does....". I don't know if it has a more significant message in the game. I do think the game does have a more significant message though... [/hide]

If you don't know what it does don't touch it... The only thing they'll effect is they will kind of "override" the settings in other games, at least if its like the Nvida drivers. its better to let the specific game(s) choose their settings.
