Than what exactly is the problem with them teaching evolution in school?

As everyone else creationism isn't a science. Also, evolution is a very strong supported theory and is pretty much considered as fact.

I'm in agreement with most of what snipers posted. I would go for around a $100 case though, that one seems a little overboard. Still some great parts there for a future proof machine. edit: lol at that falcon site I managed to get a PC up to 17k. Dual 30" monitors hahaha.

I'm with snipersas here, give us a budget and we'll go wild. :P If you don't give us a budget I"m sure most of us could easily spend upwards of $5,000 on something, haha.

Just try not to think about it. Even before when I was going to get my wisdom teeth I was a little nervous. I knew nothing would go wrong but its just one of those reactions you have. Try and keep yourself busy and don't really think about it. When it happens it will happen, and it won't take that long.

I've not really heard a COB song yet that could be labeled as death metal. However, I don't like the band that much so I probably have not heard all of their material. And I do agree with Dann that bands of one genre can do a song of a different genre, but considering COB I don't think I've heard them do death metal stuff. Its a fairly common misconception by a lot of people who listen to the band, but they just don't have a lot in common with death metal other than harsh vocals.

I have to be in agreement with shadow here. I'd love to see (personally) more stuff such as what nintendo is doing but without having to have a console dedicated to it. I'd like to see the consoles continue to move forward in processing power just because with more power comes the ability to have better AI and create scenarios that couldn't be done before.

[/hide] [hide]Oh em gee! Commander keen, not the oldest, but it was awesome. I played the first level of each game, being free and all. But I never brought myself to pay for the rest (coincidently, I'm f2p). Anyway, the Pogo stick was kick-butt. I have these discs with demo and full versions of a lot of old but good games, from older companies like Apogee and 3D Realms. Like: Black Thorne, by Blizzard. An awesome, insanely hard game. Probably the friggin' hardest game of all time, the original Prince of Persia, not the bootleg new ones with fancy running-on-walls and time-stopping.. Raptor, pretty fun to play. Never bought the full version though. Descent, it was terrifying when I played it, being 9yrs old and all. And the total 3d made it nauseating... But a great leap forward in 3d gaming IMO. And of course, Jetpack, the greatest shareware of all time![/hide] Mmm... good stuff. I remember really getting into the old shareware games when I was young. The first 2 duke nukems (side scrollers) were awesome. Also I've been debating if I want to spend the $5 over steam to get all the commander keens. :D :D I think it was either $5 or $10, at least.

Thats whats killing my computer too. My graphics card is fast enough (x1950XT) but doesn't have the 512MBs of ram. It's terrable because all newer games will require it for high detail. Anyway, I read yesterday that Sparkle is coming out with a 8600GTS with 512mbs of ram. I don't know how much it is, but I'm sure it can't be more than $20 over what the other cards are. Yeah same here. I love my 7900GS and it runs stuff great, but I do get lag [bleep]es in games like bioshock on all high details. Ah well its more of a temporary card until others come down in price a bit. :P

Well, sometimes a band makes a little trip to another genre as well. And out of that trip sometimes comes something that is different to what they have made earlier. So I guess it's perfecly possible that some songs would fall in the DEATH METAL genre, where others don't. It's like Steely Dan, they have some rock tracks, but they also have some jazz tracks. It would be weird as well if the genre would be the band itself. What if Necrophagist would make a rap song, just one. Then you wouldn't call it DEATH METAL, right? But you wouldn't call them a rap group either. So what is it? A rap song by a Death Metal band. And now it would be a Death Metal song by a Power Metal band. Well its not like Bodom is playing jazz or anything, they don't play death metal, never have. You evidentally don't listen to much COB... Judas Priest didn't play all speed metal. The ballad "Angel" was alternitive. "Breaking the Law" is rock N' roll, not speed metal... How2PK made excellent points : Poopingman, I evidentally know what I'm talking about a bit better than you :wink: . COB plays power metal with harsh vocals.

Haha... thats great. I know rick already said it but the PC has already produced stuff better than was the PS3 can do. I'd love to see it do bioshock in full DX10, or crysis when it comes out.

Not sure why parents can't set up a proper bed time for kids. I know that mine was always 10:00 and I pretty much followed that up to senior year of high school. And I did have all the goodies I would want in my room. My PC/TV/Consoles...ect.

Nice setup for the most part snipersas. Only problem is the 8600GTS has way to little of memory if it wants to handle DX10 games. It would have to be at least a 512mb+, not 256mb. Anyways I agree with all you say there. However I might try and fit in a 512mb 7900 or some sort instead of 256, because a lot of new games coming out seem to want that 512mb card.

What kind of connection are you using? (component, AV, ect.) What kind of TV is it?

I started on a NES, so I don't really see the point in your arguement there. That I play have played consoles more, and I'm better with them? Although I'm surprised you've had consoles since NES and still prefer PC shooters. Myself, the first game I ever played on a PC was dunno, probably commander keen or something, after I beat TMNT and donkey kong on the SNES much earlier. I had quite the headache trying to get the hang of Doom and Wolfenstein.... Oh....er....Offtopic much....Did i mention i played halo? :anxious: I probably did start on PC first but my first console was a NES. Since then for a lot of the time I spent (almost) equal time on consoles and the PC, although I still enjoy PC the most. You really can not argue that PC users have better control over an FPS than console. It isn't a mater of preference or anything, its a fact. A mouse and keyboard give you much more control than analog sticks. Yeah some people enjoy a controller because it is all right 'there' but then again how many people you see using a controller on PC shooters? :P

Just relax, it isn't hard. I got used to going to a different school every 2 years or so, except for one which I was at for 5. It isn't terribly hard once you get used to it.

Usually photography is kind of lumped in with it. I'd be honest about it, tell them that you are interested in the photography aspect.

I built this: 7900GS 256mb 1.8ghz intel duo 2 core 2GB DDR2 ram 320 GB hard drive Apevia Case 550w (or so) thermaltank PSU CD/DVD drive/burner Nvidia 660i motherboard (fairly sure its 660i) Windows Xp media center addition It was actually only like $750 because I returned the CPU cooler I got. Also, that machine above played bioshock in DX9 on all high details just fine.
