Basicly, The answer to your question is yes, Ores do respawn alot faster on crowded worlds, Along with other respawning things such as trees, Monsters etc.

Back in the good old days, There used to be an area where banned characters could log into and you wouldn't be able to leave the area, Your friends could join you there and buy a Disk of Returning before going in, When they wanted to leave they'd use it to get back out. There's no way to get 100% Chance of hitting, But potting and praying will help alot.

So worth it, Getting it from rock crabs can be annoying although the XP Isn't bad, Jellies are okay as you can usually get the money back from the drops/Clues etc. Or if you don't want to spend any money at all.. Use PC With melee, And spend the point on Ranged. You can usually get a good PC Clan on the forums, Or use SS To get a good world. Good luck with your quest to 70 Ranged.

Yew longs are OK Cash, Buy logs for 300-340 each and Bow Strings for 180-200 each, Or Flax and then spin it for 100Each. Yew longs sell for around 550-590gp ATM, It's not the fastest money in the game I admit, But it's not bad for XP as they're nearly always in demand, As alot of bows get alched.
