Sorry to jack your thread, but what's so bad about McAfee? I have that, and my dad (who's job is essentially to prevent viruses at his workplace (hospital)) ensures that it's great :unsure:

Only music for me, really. One virus was blocked almost instantly, and I stopped the download. Another time I opened the page and my blocker said it had detected, but couldn't delete the virus. Pornography on my pc the next day also gave a bit of a clue :wink: Gone now though, my dad is pretty handy with computers.

I'm using Firefox, that does a little scan... Tbh, The Pirate Bay always seemed a bit dodgy to me, whether it be all the sex-ads, or just the fact that there were so many torrents - I chose mostly to only download from 'Trusted' Users (only really downloaded like 3 things btw, and 2 had viruses - one was blocked). I think I'm leaning more towards Demonoid, as it seems less anonymous. But again, can I ensure that something is clean without fully exposing myself to it?

Hoe can I safely scan it without actually opening it?

If this is against the rules.... sorry :unsure: Anyway, I want to know from people how reliable Demonoid.com is. A friend recommended it to me when I said I got a virus from the Pirate Bay. How safe is it, in general? Because from the Pirate Bay I got a virus just by clicking a link to the file page (but not actually downloading the file).

I re-submitted a guitar tab to the same site as I had submitted it last time, because they said it would take maybe 2 days to process and publicize, and it had been a month. And again, it's been a week <_< Also, I think I've got some sort of virus, because my computer is slower and my 'Protection Log' keeps trying to tell me stuff. And I can't open iTunes either (although I think that's unrelated)... Today specifically, I had my friends stay over, and we played Brawl until 5am. Now it's 8pm and I feel pretty crappy.

I downloaded the PS3 demo. I guess I like it, but I'm not really sure yet. It feels sort of like a cross between MAG and COD. And it's not exactly clear on how things work. I don't feel like it's as easy to pick up as MW, but I still think it could be as good. I really like being able to destroy things... Also, does it use a health system or a self-surgery one?

Gorillaz - recently been listening to some of them. Here's a question though: are their songs relating to a central theme? Like a concept band of sorts akin to Coheed and Cambria? Or do they just make music, and there's a fictional band history that has nothing to do with the music?

Consoles are already as good as they can ever be - or at least should be. Games already look better than real life, and I really don't want 3D in my gaming. It doesn't really feel right (although I haven't seen Avatar yet, so maybe my opinions will change). PlayStation can update controller if necessary without a new system. X-Box could become more reliable / better looking with more ease. Wii is different. I don't think games would EVER get made if its graphics were cutting-edge. So it's one or the other. And motion can be fun!! :twss:

No he isn't (it's odd i know) but someone must recognize karas and g force :blink: I'm sure I might recognise a few - maybe - if I saw them. When you say g-force, I think of the hamsters from the summer Disney movie :razz:

Ugh. Day started off well enough, with some COD at my friends house. I also made a gamertag so I can save my levels when I play there... Everything else sucked. My friend's mom is has terminal cancer, which has entered her brain. She has people at her house now, helping her. [cabbage] soccer game, on every level. And now I just realised that I may have wrongly lablled the sing I tabbed (Eternal Bloom) as Endless Bloom. Tomorrow's Sunday... and then Monday...

I finished tabbing "Endless Bloom" by An Endless Sporadic. Makes me feel good about myself as a learning guitarist, considering I've mostly taught myself, and had to learn the song without any other reference whatsoever. I'll try and put it onto ultimate-guitar tomorrow ^_^

Chem was sorta hard - 88. Spanish was much easier than expected, but I don't know my grade yet. Followed today's midterms with a 'Computer Literacy Exam,' which (if I pass) means I don't have to take a computer course to graduate. Finished first in 7 minutes. Joke test. And pretty outdated. Then I had a Sax sectional for jazz band which went OK. Follow that with some guitarra and perc ensemble (bleh), and now I only have one exam left :mrgreen:

Geometry midterm today. Pretty easy really, and I only had to go to school from 7-9, because I didn't have a second period exam to take. Then I hung out with my friend, and went to his youth group tonight. Sorta weird cuz I'm a newbie, but I got to play Pickleball (people who don't know Pickleball should look it up. It's really fun) for an hour and a half. Two worst exams tomorrow - Chemistry and Spanish. Chem I like but is hard, and my Spanish is down this year - I despise my teacher. Good thing I'm dropping it next year.

Does anyone know what a "Browser Plus" program is? I've found it on my computer multiple times, with windows telling me that "New programs have been installed." It's appeared enough that it seems to be doing nothing, but can anyone give me a clear idea as to what it is? Usually when I see it I uninstall it, which it seems to do easily enough. I have an odd feeling it's from Yahoo!

Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, the name of a gallery on what to do in Omaha (?), and someone who gives out hate mail regarding judicial cases. So I guess I'm a politically active tour guide in Nebraska. Damn.

Woke up at noon, read in bed, played some guitar, then went to my friends house until we had a small soccer playoff. We came in second - and we have the medals to prove it. They have gigantic font that says 2ND on them >.>
