And to the next poster, I was thinking of doing that. Any advice? (And to others, is it a good idea?)

My cousin works in sound. Yeah. All I know about WoW. How long does it take for one to get an account to 70?
-
Yeah pretty much. I don't play video games THAT much. (2-3hrs/week) I nolifed like 20 cmb levels after the surgery when I was in bedrest and on morphine. (tells you how much brainpower you need to play rs) And it's not the friends, it's that they want me IN THE HOUSE WORKING (Also, with these new things they think i'm spending too much time on hte computer so now it's AT MY DESK WORKING.

'We don't care what you are' They really don't care, well except for it has to be respectable, well paying, etc. I like law and computer sci, also interested in history although i don't plan on wanting a career in that field.

Ooh, I went to model UN and they wanted to come and check on me, make sure I was doing homework due the following week. It took my advisor sending a nasty email for them to back off. And that's weekends. AND I have to check in at 3:10 on weekdays, and if I have a project I can't leave. EDIT: I can't run for another 6 months so sports are out of the quesiton: even though i play soccer & tennis.

So push the envelope a bit but do better with what they care about.

Lol. I entered negotiations. They crashed and burned. We will give you more privileges when you improve your grades I'm fifteen in two days. they said i need to study more and I'm not putting effort into my classes. (I admit I did slack in my studies somewhat, but with the result being an 89% and an 84% with a LOT of time to go I'm confident I can make it up. They then proceeded to say that Id be flipping burgers with a crappy bottom end position at burger king for the remainder of my life. Even though I know I still need to do well in school this trouble they are giving me is pushing me towards not trying at all with their punishment/attitude, which would only worsen the situation. I said fine then just let me be a failure. They said, well let you but you cant do anything fun while in this house if you do. So then I said please let the pressure off, you are hurting not helping me. They said I could do well if I wanted and yelled at me more. Said because I got two Bs last semester (I had a major back surgery RIGHT in the middle) and I played runescape during that time (to distract myself from the pain) that giving me ANY sort of slack was foolish. At this point I am unsure where to go. Any advice? (Summary, negotiations have failed)

Now I think. It's a MASSIVE merch clan doing it, doesn't bare any plausible resemblance to a free trade system. Just dump em soon, at the slightest drop in increase. (I tried and failed to hit max, hard to do unless you are in the clan)

Duffy is doing arrows (lotsa cash to burn) Bolts are decent exp, and cash. I almost have enough slayer points, but should i get a slayer ring or broad bolts...

Depends. I have veracs (Well, got the helm and skirt, figure hte additional 300k was worth it for the set. I like veracs, have used guthans and didn't care for it, just because of my low cmb stats and thinking that with faster kills i couldg et 68 summon. Qeltar who I very much trust gets faster kill rates on some monsters with dharok's but it's quite dangerous, so I would avoid doing it unless you are sure you can devote time. Torag's is useless (except for the armor) Ahrims is the only decent mage armor... period... Karil's is good for mage def.

Yeah, assuming you get some good charm tasks... (I did the math, but I don't really want to post it here) It'd cost a hell of a lot though, didn't even bother to figure thato ut.

I'm getting this through steam sometime later this month I reckon.

Necessary? Elaborate in that case. And i'll try to negotiate. (just tried to and they yelled at me saying that because I don't have all A's I can't possibly care. :wall:

You could change the curfew with a bit of rebelling against your parents. If you just don't let them control you, there's not much they can do. Never a very good idea to do that though. That's just [bleep] ridiculous. You're parents need to realize that for you to be able to be a functional person later on in life, you need to be given a chance to build your own self-responsibility. Them making you do things isn't gonna help in the future. It'll probably just [bleep] you over and make you not ever wanna do things. My mum used to be like that. then I went through an extremely rebellious stage. I got into a lot of trouble. but learnt a lot too. I started ot rebel recently, instead things tightened, and because of the surgery I feel sorta scared going out without consent just because i could have spasms or something.

Did I mention I can't play any video games until I have all As? :( Anyways, it's not so much that she doesn't trust them, it's that she wants me studying/working at all times.

I'm dealing with two valedictorians: unfortunately that wouldn't work. I've already got a B, but am in Adv. English, Adv. trig with an cabbagehead for a teacher, and some other difficult classes. Plus i've recently hadb ack surgery for scoliosis. how fun. I'll try to change the curfew, never have that much tbh
-
My point exactly. I said I'm not having any fun like this. They said, well, if you don't do well in school you'll eat it later. I said plenty of people with blue collar jobs have fun, I don't need to be a CEO. (And don't get me wrong, I am trying to do that ;O)

Fastest way, hard for a skiller. or airs...
-
It works, but is way risky. I did it and lost 700k :/ I wouldn't do it.
-
Not that bad, i've bought a set and sold it back. (overnight)

Mith bolts, at my level c balls are ungodly slow.

I'm a freshman in high school, have never been to a sleepover, can't be out past 6:00, get yelled at for a B, and because of this can't play rs, and have to use a 7 yr old computer. Yeah... Plus i'm two years ahead in maths, and am taking a college level C++ programming class. Is this overbearing or not. Also others post what they think is overbearing, and what is the difference between being overbearing and caring ~Deathmath. Note this may seem like a sympathy trap, but I am generally interested if this is normal or not, and what others have to deal with.

I'm building a new computer with undefined cost; I don't need this to be great but I want it to be decent. When does the cost: performance ration start to increase. Main point is I'm going totry and build a comp. I just wanted to ask a few basic questions. How do you know if parts are compatible, and what are the basic parts I'll need. so... Is quad core> dual core for the cost or vise verse. what kind of wattage of power supply is best 8800 or 9600 (geforce) for a graphics card. I'll need quite a lot of help going along trying to figure this out, so expect me to post back with specific parts as i figure itout.
