Need range slaying help
Yeah thats pretty much what i'm going to do. Does anyone have an approximate amount of how many cannon balls it will take me per task? Depends on the task, but generally between 1k and 2.5k. I always bring like 3k, just in case. Sounds good, and are you letting the cannon do all the work or are you using melee/cannon? Because that seems like a lot of balls per task. Melee'ing at the same time, of course. The cannon is just an addition. You should gain access to a bunch of resource dungeons that make cannoning certain tasks even easier.

Need range slaying help
Though you've already decided, I'll emphasize that just slaying with a cannon + combat familiars and using darts/knives on greaters/gargs is a great way to amass ranged experience. All of my ranged exp from 70-95 is from using a cannon while slaying.

Ranging/Magic necessary for slayer max efficiency?
Get 70 ranged for Karil's (waterfiends). If you plan on getting 93+ slayer you'll want to use fire wave at the very least.

Player Mods, Ethics, and Dicing
This thread is so amusing. It's like the e-mafia (that dice clan or whatever) is trying to keep the little guy (OP) down. I have half a mind to go to that clan's world just to troll hardcore.

Completionist Cape (Untrimmed)
Hi, discussing it anyway. It has badass stats, obviously, but it also caters to my OCD about completing things (this applies to pretty much every game I've ever played). Because I hate non-combats so much, it'll be years before I get it, most likely. In fact, I'm probably more likely to complete the 5k castle wars games than max total. Combat > everything.

90 range and defence
You'll have to do something about your magic level, too, as it's too low to solo Arma effectively.

84 farming is the most you need. You don't need a fishing level except for the fishing ferret room (though there's like one floor every ~20m exp where you'll find yourself with the ability to fish and cook without wasting time, so I guess that can be considered). Shortbow for Necrolord, buying fractite arrows from the smuggler (assuming you have a decent desperado ring). Necro floors are 38-42, so that would explain your problem there. Hunting and crafting lossless-ly is a skill that all hex users should know. EDIT: 90 slayer for edimmus. Blood necklaces, IMO, are just as useful as hexes.

Drawing this took about 20 minutes. In that time I could've made about ~2m gp. I am inefficient.

Not even close to max melees, no turmoil, high non-combats. What do.

TIF is bit over-moderated
Soma was able to find the chat logs (a skype group with more than 5,000 new messages a day is not fun to trawl), and I imagine they'll be posted shortly.

So as I'm sure some of you /obt/aurians know (my god I'm a [bleep]ing genius), relations are not okay between TEF and Tipit, but more than that, I'm disappointed with a lot of things, as per usual. There's that whole AHK thing, which I haven't been involved in because I don't know a single thing about programming and can't really contribute to the debate. But I'm very annoyed that all of the functions posted on TEF have been PROVEN to be entirely within the guidelines set by Jagex, and yet there's still a [bleep]ing problem. Very annoying. I'm annoyed with a member of the crew for basically denying that anything is wrong with his/her dg guide. Luckily that's been cleared up, but not after tons of posts being deleted and not without me having to go to two crew members personally to work with them on improving the guide, one of which wasn't even involved in writing it! That should not happen. The main site, as I've always said, is mostly useless aside from a few select guides that have been re-written or kept up-to-date (mostly thanks to Enaid). It didn't help my ego that a level 91 dungeoneer was telling a 116 dungeoneer (myself) and a 113 to [bleep] off, basically, lol. In a perfect Tip.it, the metagame forum would be thriving with all of the guides and guide projects that are on TEF. The main site would be up-to-date (some sections, anyway) thanks to all of the pro MHers on Tip.it (well, who were previously on Tip.it), and there would even be an extremely comprehensive DG guide in the works. Unfortunately, we have to deal with politics, politics, politics. I basically use Tip.it for DGS and my blog. DGS isn't going anywhere, so no-one needs to worry about that. I'm far more sympathetic towards TIF than most of the others, and even though it seems mostly futile at this point, I'd like to at least TRY to make things work (are we talking about runescape fansites or girlfriends? hmm). I'm basically just very annoyed with some of the admins/mods and the way they handle anything to do with us. It makes using TIF stressful for me at times. Unfortunately, I can't think of a solution. There's too much animosity now. /rant Anyway, I went to the bar last night with my friends to see that girl I went out with (she works there). It was fun, but holy [cabbage] I was tired by the end of the night. Nothing interesting happened. Need to step it up in the flirting department before I get friendzoned (it would be a first).

Advanced Dungeoneering Guide Corrections
It's already been resolved. I've spoken to crew members who are far more reasonable than All Bogs, and the guide will be improved as a result of that collaboration.

Advanced Dungeoneering Guide Corrections
And in turn, the concepts we cover in our main (basic) dungeoneering guide should be understood before people move on to our advanced dungeoneering guide. The concepts we cover in our advanced dungeoneering guide may be stupidly simple to you, but they'll make zero sense to a person who isn't familiar with the stuff in our basic dungeoneering guide, ie somebody who is totally new to the skill. Oh, and WMX is reading this, don't worry about that. Your current basics guide should be a fundamentals guide (what is prestige? etc). Your current "advanced" guide should be a basics or "getting started" guide. You currently do not own an advanced guide, regardless of what you think is a nice title. You're stating the obvious, but denying that your guide is anything other than what it is - a compendium of dungeoneering basics.

Advanced Dungeoneering Guide Corrections
No, they wouldn't, because advanced dungeoneering tactics should be learned AFTER one learns the basics (THE BASICS BEING EVERYTHING IN YOUR GUIDE), which is so obvious. Seriously, I can't comprehend how or why this is so difficult for you. Tip.it has its very own dungeoneering clan and four of its members (two of which are admins) are trying to help you make your guide better, and all you can do is deny deny deny that anything is wrong with it. For [bleep]'s sake, you have "pick up keys" in your guide, and you want me to read the title and take it seriously? I like Warriormonkx and I feel like he'd be willing to listen to my advice without getting his panties in a bunch, so I think I'll refrain from replying to you again and just wait for him to get online.

Advanced Dungeoneering Guide Corrections
Um, yeah, I probably meant to say section. I realize you're not going to cover special tactics for all bosses in a single paragraph :P having them on separate pages is probably a good idea. Well, everything but the section on etiquette focuses on techniques that in the end will reduce the amount of time you spend horsing around in the dungeon. I'm also willing to bet that the majority of players doesn't rush, and that the vast majority of players will set foot in Daemonheim before they get to 60-70 through tears and pengus. Those people don't _need_ to know this stuff, but it may be interesting to them nonetheless. Still, him hesitant to call it basics that everybody should know. I'm facedesking so hard right now. THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS GUIDE THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO EVERY DUNGEONEERING TEAM THAT HAS EVER BEEN CREATED. EVER. As such, it is a guide of basics. I'm done discussing this. You should try to be less defensive and start being more receptive of constructive criticism. I was honestly thinking of recommending this guide to the multitudes of people who ask about dungeoneering basics in H&A (once the requested changes had been made), but [bleep] that. I won't be promoting ignorance on Tip.it, unlike Tip.it staff/crew. Enjoy your guide.

Is this in regards to moderation, or providing constructive criticism of the guide? I assume the former, as the latter would be ridiculous.

Advanced Dungeoneering Guide Corrections
What do you mean exactly by "really begin training the skill"? As soon as you stop using lamps/pengs/TOG to gain exp and start actually dungeoneering. I already made a short list of subjects that would be covered in an advanced guide. No, this guide actually pertains to both "rush" and "non-rush" (completely outdated terms considering that no-one does "non-rushing"), so it can't be considered a "speed" or "efficiency" guide. Rather, it covers the basics that ANY dungeoneering team - regardless of experience, play style, whatever - must know. A paragraph each? I don't think you guys realize how expansive a proper dungeoneering guide would be. None of the advanced dg techniques I've previously listed should be incorporated into this guide, because this guide covers BASICS only. Best to keep them separate for ease-of-access.
