A few things you should do differently: 1. You can avoid the binds/curses by moving two tiles away. You don't need to tank them. 2. Use leech defense and ranged. 3. GGSing out will get you killed sometimes, as the GGS tele doesn't negate all damage like your personal gate does. I'm surprised that's your first time. Do you just never get Necrolord or maybe another hex tends to do it instead?

That combined with slayer profits being the highest they've been in god-knows-how-long makes powerslaying the obvious choice for ALL players. There is absolutely no reason not to do it. And you should look into dungeoneering, of course. Most people fall in love with the skill just after they get their first chaotic weapon (for you it would be a rapier), and it's well worth the time and effort.

Hi, efficiency god/clown here. Making your own cannonballs is extremely inefficient, as most of the things you'd use a cannon on will give you greater returns than what you spent on using it, whether through pure profit (spectres) or time saved (dags, velds). If it's AFKability that you want, cutting yews or fishing sharks and spending the money on cannonballs would be more efficient (but still not very efficient). Or if you REALLY wanted to be efficient and make a LOT more money, you could make unfinished potions, which is pretty damn AFKable. Basically, making your own cannonballs does not save money, which I assume is your goal.

There seems to be this huge misconception in regard to how we do things. - More often than not, it's very difficult for a keyer to be teaching while keying (they can't even see the team most of the time - how in the world are they supposed to point out mistakes?). - Because of this, keyers are encouraged to take wingmen or other keyers who can keep the "newbs" in line, so to speak. I personally prefer to take no more than two less-experienced dungeoneers at a time. - The goal of DGS is not to be cuddly and nice. The best way to learn to do fast floors is to do them. Once you learn to react and do things quickly, THEN you start learning the little things that shave even more time off floors. But first and foremost, you must learn initiative. I don't know what exactly you were expecting, Ezkaton, but two isolated cases of questionable teams is hardly indicative of the attitudes or goals of the other 25 keyers or 150 DGSers. It doesn't help your argument that you admitted to AFKing in one of those floors without informing the team. Anyone - DGS, 148, 3BO, etc - would be angry. Nothing has changed. We teach Tip.iters to be badass dungeoneers. Feel free to use 148 if it bothers you that much.

Yes, you can use fire runes (or a fire staff) with your csb to cast fire surge. Thunderous too, letting him mage you on purpose. Are you kidding me? His magic attack lowers your prayer and will kill the whole team within a few attacks. That's kinda why you don't let him mage you.

A note on using a rapier in multicombat: do it. Anyone with a rapier can make enough money per hour to use it everywhere and still be efficient, and this is even more true at high dungeoneering levels when you start using tokens to recharge chaotics.
