  1. I don't think you understand. I said NEW members of DGS are expected to know this stuff within a week of using the chat. When I say NEW, I mean the equivalent of 117/148ers. These are not advanced dungeoneering tactics. These are the basics, like it or not. This guide is literally a "here's how to get started" affair. Unfortunately I feel the need to reiterate that this is not an insult; rather, I'm explaining that this guide should be advertised as providing basic, foundational knowledge of dungeoneering that everyone should know before they really begin training the skill. Once again, there is nothing advanced in this guide.
  2. My problem with the guide (besides the stuff like recommending worldbearers, which has already been mentioned) is that everything in it is stuff that I expect any brand new DGSer to know within a week of first using the chat. An advanced dungeoneering guide would cover combat mechanics (kiting, safe-spotting, trampling, etc), advanced boss tactics, puzzle/skill room tricks, lossless skilling (making potions, hunting dinos), third bind use, the differences between battleaxes and 2hs, monster priority, etc. EDIT: tl;dr everything in your guide should be promoted as being basic material that EVERY dungeoneer should know, DGS or otherwise.
  3. You should've seen when he had cosmics instead of arrows. lolololololololol GGS HEXES. OH BUT NOT YOU MAZ
  4. A mining update that is directly relevant to my mining level. I now know what it's like to be a low-level and get updates. [bleep] YEAH!
  5. You have 17.3m slayer exp. That much slayer is completely unnecessary. Why not do those other skills when boredom comes a'knockin?

Google can be used to access RWT and botting sites. As such, I've reported your post. Please abide by the rules in the future.

  9. Wow. That was beautiful. Shakespeare?
  10. This. I'm at about 70.1m dg exp and I've seen two hexes in around ~25-30 soulgazers. The drop rate is 1/16. Hexes are the rarest items in the game.
  11. O U EDIT: So anyway, to elaborate on the date thing: I went out with this girl today that I had gone on a date with last week. We basically just had lunch and walked around for a bit, talking, and we went to this bar in the area and had a beer (which she paid for, saying she owed me a birthday present). We then walked around a while longer, and she asked me to visit her at work tonight (she works at a restaurant) so that's likely where I'll be. She may get off early, in which case I may hang out with her afterwards. I'll have a house to myself tonight, too, so the stars may align in my favor. Good times.
  12. The first most used is 'I', which is used with such phrases as: I'm being trolled by Enaid. I like Dungeoneering. I went on a date today and I'm seeing her again tonight. wat do. I hope Tripsis won't be angry that I'm seeing someone else. Etc.

  14. Love your name. And nice level. Tis a good skill.
  15. I'd appreciate it if you didn't post provocations. It's a simple matter of copying and pasting Jagex's response to Darkdude's inquiry. Or perhaps I genuinely believe that? I'd also appreciate if we weren't accused of bias towards you guys, since, you know, we've been removing links to botting stuff for several years, but tough luck it seems. One post on the forum with a bot that hadn't been deleted yet when some TIF mod found it GRIMY'S FORUMS ARE BOTTING STUFF Yeah. Doesn't TIF get spammed by phishing bots every other day? It's the same thing. I can't even conjure the energy to involve myself in such a ridiculous argument. One side is knowledgeable in programming and well-versed in Jagex's policies while the other is . . . not . . . BUT THEY HAVE A SUPER SEKRIT EMAIL FROM JAGEX AMIRITE. I mean seriously, how hard is it to just post the [bleep]ing email that apparently clears this whole thing up for good?

  17. Bind a CSB and cast air surge against the primal warrior. Congratulations, you just lowered your DPS. ...On 40% of the monsters while increasing it on 60% of the others. Way too black and white. You do realize that mage-able monsters are often the slowest monsters to kill in GDs, right? And it's not just warriors. I'm honestly confused by your lack of understanding here, so I'm afraid I can't take you seriously anymore. I really should have shrugged you off when you admitted to having never used a third bind, but alas, I made a mistake and I have to live with it.

  19. Well, I think the problem is that he's forgetting monster weaknesses and prioritizing in GDs. He also doesn't seem to understand DPS, or he wouldn't have suggested a primal maul of all things. Ignorance isn't a bad thing in itself, but I'm vaguely annoyed by his insistence on it. EDIT: Perfect example of what I said above. You need to take monster priority into account. This is not slayer.
  20. A fair assumption, and I agree with him. Sorry, but that's nowhere near an efficient bind setup, and as such can't be used for comparison. Your comparisons would be incredibly interesting if you had compared two good setups as opposed to those troll setups you came up with. That's an interesting conclusion based on very unrealistic binds (which is hilarious considering you completely ignored every setup in this guide).
  21. The 3rd age/rares/spirit shields topic is another hugely successful thread that pretty much cleaned GD up back when there were new merchanting topics every six hours. I just don't think discussion of botting is varied enough to warrant multiple topics. Ever.
  22. Are solo meds seriously supposed to take <20 minutes? Mine are 2-3 times that long. I must be doing something seriously wrong. Make good use of your gatestones. Like Wadebling said, it's very similar to a large floor in that the majority of your movement should be via gatestones.
  23. @ this post Let's start over, shall we? Your "tactics", as it relates to maging, are hogwash. I don't need to have a third bind to realize that what you suggest is sup-optimal to the extreme. I've asked two or three times now for anyone to show me someone who uses melee as their primary form of combat who has binded a CCS, and every time neither you nor xpx have shows me such an individual. I wonder why? Again, no one in their right mind is going to bind a CCS when they're mostly using melee-- especially if, as xpx asserts, mage isn't as good as melee on the majority of monsters. If anything, they'd just bind some primal guantlets and be more effective one more monsters than they otherwise would be if they just binded a CCS. That's not hard to understand (or so you'd think). Here's a question for you; if a CCS is so good, did you bind one? Sorry, but once again your speculative conjecture doesn't really hold a candle to real testing (which we've done to the extreme). I know this must be hard for you to wrap your mind around, but the nature of this forum requires that you have some semblance of data or evidence to back your claims, and one only needs to look at your dungeoneering level to see that you don't have it. I'll answer two harmless questions for you, though, as they digress from your argument anyway: How many people have melee binds + CCS? In my dungeoneering clan, I believe three people currently have CCS binds. Another person - The Bemis - just got a blood necklace after using a CCS for about ~20m exp; he contributed extensively to this guide. Have I ever bound a CCS? I did once, just after 100 dungeoneering. Unfortunately I only had it for one floor when I found a blood necklace the very next, and I only had that for a week before I got my hexhunter, which I've now had for around ~56m exp.
