jagex is making all these useless updates lately, why dont they do this (this is most certainly not useless). this is the best suggestion i have seen in this thread ever. i hope this becomes an update sometime soon.

I hate this idea.. what if you think arrows or runes are a waste of money and you dont buy them? but you get to 99 range without buying any. but by the time you get to 99 range you will have enough money to buy as many arrows as you could ever need. and i love pastygangsta's idea.

jagex would probably check to see if you play from the same IP address as the person who put your name into the website. a very good idea. if all the gold buyers gets banned than the number of macroers would slowly but surely decline untill most of them are gone.

this is definitely not new. people have been doing this in duel arena for weeks upon weeks now. plus its not a scam, its just a couple sharks/lobs/swordfish in exchange for your inventory.

really.. you didn't even realize that it was a cape? thats not really getting scammed. how did you get 10k at level 3? (not saying your lying, just saying it sounds kinda fishy). by the way this thread is for people who ALMOST got scammed.. i was buying 2k addy arrows on my pure and they person who was "selling the 2k addy arrows" switched to 2k iron arrows. good thing i checked the second window.

i would say my worst mistake is buying zamorak robe vestments and vestment legs for 2.4m from a "friend" when they came out :cry:

yup, its wednesday. i actually think the most useless thing would have to be an axe with no head you could beat people with the headless axe and get more stuff.. but the most pointless item would be a giant easter egg (easter egg, you ever realize how big they are compared to other items). it would rot and then what would you do with it? throw it at the neighbor kids?

i have 2 that i cant decide between. when i first stepped foot in the fishing guild. I love it i rarely leave except to sell the lobsters i fish or to buy new fishing clothes :) or when i stabbed my very first shark to death with a clean, unused harpoon.. oh yeah.

it would get modded like every other game for the 360 (just about). unless this was separate from the pc based runescape, i dont think this would be to good of an idea.

i think 2000 to get 4 rune defenders. its random. ps i used a ring of wealth, i dont think it makes a difference though.

since i already have full rune (z) and a whip i guess i would put it into my bank and add it to my savings, and maybe, one day, buy a pumpkin :D

if jagex WANTED to make animal abuse look positive it would say something like "welcome to runescape! go to varrock and stab a dog or two, its great fun!" that would make it seem positive. but being able to shoo away a fly covered, fur missing dog is something you would probably do in real life. if a dog walked up to you and started whining and was covered in flies and missing fur patches, you would probably shoo it away. what else would you do with it? it could have rabies. it could have fleas that have diseases. it could have diseases. i guess i've made my point.

in my opinion, the only rules runescape truly needs are rules 2,3,4,7 and 11. i think alot more people would play without the fear of getting muted if you play properly (sometimes people accidentally let a swear or 2 slip out and then their runescape life suffers for it.)

today i made an account named "rs2goldsales" and i asked a few people on my mains friends list about gold buying. i said stuff like "how many millions of gp have you purchased so i can verify the delivery". i know its lying, but i was just wondering. 9/16 people that were online apearently bought 1-30m within the last week. i find it disgusting how many people just say "oh i bought X million gp three days ago" i just can't believe it. one of them is level 104, level 104 for god's sake. why would you risk an account that you worked on for years for a couple million gp, i just dont get it. i have never bought runescape gp for real money, and i dont plan on it. thats all i have to say about this.

could you not just make a new .dat file so that jagex couldn't put one in your computer and not get banned as easily?

i would say that most people that pk ihave no self esteem. they put people down for playing the game. "def noob" "safer" "pray noob" the list goes on. just learn to ignore them. i have one pure and i keep my public chat on friends no matter the circumstances are (in the wild that is, i usually just keep it on hide) and my private chat off or on friends. it doesn't make you any better to make fun of people for doing what jagex put in the game ( eating, raising defense, praying etc.) if you dont want to hear the insults, stay out of the wild.

ban every ip address thats not from america or the uk :-$

im 13 and i wear a size 11.5 US size. dont feel like converting to other countrys sizes.

thats the same with me and my brother. as long as you have 2 different computers (that are not connected to the same router with wires i think) they will have a different ip address (1 digit off at the end). and jagex will use that rather than the "last logged in from:" ip. but i use a wireless laptop, and my brothers desktop is wired to the router, and we havn't been banned within the 6 months or so we have been playing like this.

excellent idea. i support. but i think it should either be see through ( i cant think of the proper word right now ). or over in a corner or something. i dont like it being right over my friends list.
