My mouse wheel kately has been causing the click-scroll nearly everytime I roll it, and my left click has been missing clicks. Today it stopped working entirely. So I cleaned it out. Oh lawdy, the gunk that was built up in there...the mouse wheel works perfectly now, and the mouse hits every click as intended. Gross.
  2. Bull. [cabbage]. I went on a class trip to Florida once between 8th and 9th grade, and my arm was broken. They pulled me out of the security line at the metal detector, had me stand in a little plastic gate (we called it "the Box" later on) for a few minutes, and then gave my cast a swab down and all that good stuff. Said they were looking for GSR/black powder/explosive material. This old woman gave me an expression of sheer terror as she saw them pull me out and as I was standing there waiting. [cabbage].
  3. Well THERE'S your problem.
  4. If you could replace my previous image-the one with the flame, right near the center-that'd be great. Here's the replacement: [img=http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/3320/jokerpostproduction.png]
  5. I've gotten pretty big on hats lately. I've got a (previously mentioned, I believe) camouflage-patterned ballcap emblazoned with a duck logo reading "Duck Commander" (I may not be a redneck, but I look damn good in it), an authentic rabbit fur Ushanka, and one of these: in black. It is a rare occasion to see me without one of those upon my head, and I hope to gather more in the future.
  6. Pretty much. I mean, I showered this morning. Haven't touched anything since with my wang. In fact, by going to the bathroom, I'm probably making my schlong dirtier than it was, adn as long as there's no splashback or anything I'm not contaminating my hands with anything else.
  7. I tried something different today. Played some offensive engy; set up a level 1 up front or an ambush spot, then lure people over there/go and fight with the shotgun. It's fast, and the sentry is pretty much disposable and can be moved around a lot wherever I need it. It was a lot of fun, and I wasn't just sitting in some corner with my thumb up my [wagon].
  8. They call it...the Spy Check. Basically, everybody knows that anyone around them could be a potential spy. So they do their damndest to shoot everyone and make sure that they are, in fact, a real teammate. The only thing you can do, really, is pretend like nothing is happening and hope that they'll shoot you once and think that's enough. Or fire back at them and land some good revolver shots and hope for a slight victory before everyone else realizes you're a spy. Spy itself is a class of equal parts skill and luck, but depending on your tactics you can push it a little more to the skill side. There's some good videos on how to play a decent spy.
  9. I just thought I would point out the very significant fact that with that post you now have > 9000 posts; a winner is you. Have you ever tried mahi-mahi, swordfish, or shark? All of those dense fish meats are rather similar taste-wise to chicken and still have a tenderness only found in fish. I had swordfish for dinner today. It did not taste like chicken, but it wasn't very "fishy", either. It was good. Where are you that you can hear the sounds of a woman peeing? Seriously, what the hell?
  10. The guy who made the idler program (and tf2items.com) shut down the servers for the program after valve made it against the rules, so you have to use a server. I think you can just create your own server, go in spec, and leave it on all night and get drops. But i'd only do that if you can't find a server to go in. Also be sure to idle in spec so you don't mess up your class times, but if you stay in spec you have to go into another server and play for a bit before the drops hit. I tried this earlier, I was out for about 5 hours. It didn't have any messages saying that I found anything, but I haven't played any other servers yet so I don't know for certain. And I would totally pay to watch dizzle vs jj. We need to set this up. Now.
  11. This is why you should ride on boats. Safer, more reasonable, and you get to act like a pirate! Arrr... And you might even get to see whales! I'm going to make a metaphor here that I think will reach the majority of TIF; airport security is like a tower defense game. In most cases, it's better and more efficient to have less towers with better upgrades than tons and tons of towers without any improvements to them. Likewise, if you have truly thorough initial searches and some actually decent practices (such as checking to make sure everybody actually has a passport), you don't need the ridiculousness of having everybody seated for the last hour. I mean, come on, anybody who's going to blow up a plane isn't likely to follow the "no standing up" rules anyhow. And he may not even need to stand, so there's really no point to that.
  12. Oh, boy, then have I got the video for you! It bothers me very necessarily when my sister forgets to log herself out. Next time she does that I'm setting her a password without her knowing. Small children gross me out. Also very necessarily.

The very first thing I did this morning (see: 10 minutes ago) was submit a story to storg.net. It's a site entirely of user-submitted stories, like FML or MLIA but actual story stories of things that happen to them. More entertaining, too. Hint hint.

You're going to need 3 feet of cable, an automobile, a desk chair, and a can opener. Advil may help, too.

It was supposed to start today for me, too. But the snowstorm cancelled school Monday, Tuesday, and today, so it technically started last Friday.

...Can you post this here, legally? Loose lips sink ships and all that?
  17. Two words: Aerosol flamethrower. That's always fun.

I used to have the same problem... Then I put my alarm clock on the side of my room opposite my bed. It works  Theres some clocks out there that pop out a lil' helicopter ball thing that flies out and you need to get up and put back into place within the clock so it will stop buzzing or whatever. There's one that Lenin always posts. It beeps really loudly, and then it starts rolling around and you have to find it to stop the beeping. I have major issues getting up, and I would try putting my alarm clock on the other side of the room, but I don't think I'd hear it... Yup, clocky. The alarm clock from Hell. The main draw point is that if you snooze, it runs away, but for me the draw is that it scares me too much to put it on snooze. I've never had to make it roll away because I have never hit the snooze button. I still remember the first night I used it, nearly two years ago; actually, almost exactly two years ago (it was a Christmas gift). I had no idea what the hell was going on. This loud, random beeping, which makes it impossible to get used to an fall asleep again, the flashing lights...it was like an alien abduction. That's actually what my sister, who sleeps across the hall and was woken up by it, thought it was. God. Damn. This thing works. So here's the link, as usual, if anybody wants it: http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/lights/91f2/ Oh, and in those two years, the only time I've had to change the battery was last month.I don't know if that's average for a clock, but I thought it was pretty cool.
  19. That's odd, I've been able to craft any time I've needed to. One would think they would iron out these sorts of bugs beforehand. I'm still debating if I want to try out the Targe-Eyelander and play some demo. I know if I find the SR I will.

You haven't finished applying to colleges yet? Damn man, you better get cracking, unless nowhere you're applying to has a January 1st deadline, which I'm pretty sure most do. I finished mine up at the beginning of the month, and I thought I was cutting it close. Also, 'ell yea seniors.
  21. Screenshots are F-9, right? Because I played an awesome game with 5 dominations at once )and in one life) and thought I took a screen, but I can't find it with my others. And none o the others actually work.
  22. Horsemen are drawing nearer, on leather steeds they ride. They've come to take your life! I've always supported the interpretation replacing Conquest with Pestilence. Conquest and War just overlap too much, and Pestilence is just such a deadly force. I don't know where the [bleep] Metallica came up with Time.
  23. I have 1/3 of a hat now. Refined metal uses so many items, I don't even have any more medic supplies. Or sandviches.
  24. I love the Eyelnader. It lets me get so many axetinguisher kills :P I just went 73-54 because of all the Demos I took out with the axe, almost all using the eyelander. Several dominations were had. Pretty good for a guy that hasn't played in a month or so.
  25. I know, man. I was reading the New York Times when a pop-up appeared and I just vomited everywhere. I vomited so much it blanketed the entire North American continent, caused worldwide snowfall, and was cost the entire GDP of Botswana to clean up.
