  1. Yes. Chew on that awhile.
  2. I think the theater version is better from the sounds of that. Also, was [bleep]ING AWESOME.
  3. I have noticed these double posts have seen a huge spike in frequency since the board switch. I even made a triple post by accident once. It just goes so slow now, and if it didn't look so nice I'd have a problem.
  4. I don't think you can play pirated copies online with everyone else, right? So you may still be safe. Oh, but don't tell Hex until it gets to 100%
  5. I thought we clarified that my toaster can't do jack.

Get a baseball bat or something, splash some red paint on it, then answer the door and just go [bleep]in' ape [cabbage], yelling and screaming and chase them off. Use a lot of vulgarity.
  7. Mammals at that time were about the size of smaller than a chicken. So that doesn't hold much weight at all. And what do you mean "where are you going to get canned food and bottled water"? Both of those are found in every grocery store anywhere and is probably used more nowadays than non-bottled water. Just stockpile beforehand. Like ytou would with a hurricane or other storm.
  8. I saw it last night. It actually wasn't too bad, up until the very end. And then holy [cabbage]. My friend was shaking the whole ride home. There weren't a lot of people in the theater, and it was almost a kind of communal experience; people talking about what they would do then (usually "aw man, I'd be out of there like that"). There was more laughter than screaming, actually, usually during the "in-between" segments. Monty Python ftw. [spoiler=plot spoilers]The end was what really got me, and everyone else I suppose. They're both gone after they abruptly stop screaming, and nearly a minute later the guy comes flying through the door into the camera, and the girl eats the lens. And that's it. We all waited for something else, but the theater lights came on, and I high tailed it out of there before anything else could happen. And when she got dragged....my mom told me not to tell her anything, because my dad might drag her to go see it. My only response was "augh, don't say drag...." I don't know about crying in fear, most everyone left the theater with a smile. An uneasy fear smile, but a smile nonetheless.
  9. You haven't seen the octopus' display of intelligence, I presume? They don't need thumbs. If their tentacles wrap, that can act thumb-like. And they squeeze into the tiniest spaces; I'm not saying they'll go beneath the cracks in your door, but it wouldn't surprise me. Huh. An actually decent topic in this thread. That, on the other hand, surprises me.

I pardon your ignorance, but not your italics. Yes, Halloween is usually like that. but that's for the younger folks. People of average forum age are a wee bit old to go do that. Now it's just about partying. Which is kind of the same thing, depending where you're at.
  11. Shamwow. Or lots of towels. How much liquid are we talking?
  12. Oh god it happened again.
  13. That's really not helping. I put an inverted comma to show it's a contraction. I'm just joking around man. I know. That's why that inverted comma stuff was there, someone-possibly british-said that earlier. When have I ever been one to get super serious?
  14. I'm about the same 'round here as I am when I'm with my buds.
  15. TIF humor is the worst. "lol i shoot u with a bazooka then throw molotov and eat ur cooked corpse with a spork." Why do the majority of TIFers find sentences like that funny? I think it's mostly how the thread went in the opposite direction intended. Also, you forgot the tank.
  16. That's really not helping. I put an inverted comma to show it's a contraction.
  17. Oh the things I'd do to a dead body if I was alone in a concrete room. Whoooaaah there, buddy. You're gonna give yourself an aneurism.
  18. That's arguable. It wasn't until after America gained independence that the languages started to diverge- on both sides. Look back at some historic documents; they even used to replace some "s"s with "f"s. Like ftairs. I am serious. And I'm guessing they don't still do that 'cross the pond. So there is, in fact, American English.
  19. Or a physicist. That holds about as much adventure as an astronomer. See, this is why we need whaling fleets again. And not the modern-day illegal whalers that have big harpoon guns and SONAR and such. I'm talking the old wooden shipped days of whaling, where you had as much of a chance at success as the whale did. Of course, we would need for there to actually be whales of some significant number before that could happen again.
  20. Inverted commas? ...You mean quotation marks? You know, I think simply being in any sort of room with hex is worst-case scenario. Gotta get out. The window!
  21. I might be naive, but I don't think Valve would spell it "whinging". Who the hell does that, anyway? Funny nonetheless. How else do you spell the adjective form of "Whinge"? Whinge? I thought that was a misspelling of whine. Nah, I think they're just British. Bloody Brits and their weird spelling.
  22. All I'm wondering is "what's taking this guy so long?" You made this thread last week or so sayng he's been threatening you and still nothing. If you have to wait around for something to happen...something might not happen.
  23. If you're going to bold something, you should probably spell it correctly.
  24. Is that supposed to be funny? But the logo is truly terrible, what were they thinking? ... I know, i'm lame =\ After seeing that logo i think the medals look great O_o I know, right? O_0 O_O O_o OOOOOOOOOOOO__________oooooooooooooooooo I didn't know England had legalized marijuana, either.
  25. If there's no conviction, he didn't do it. Idealistic, sure, but that's how the justice system works. I've noticed quite a bit lately that "innocent until proven guilty" is much touted, but rarely followed. Not saying he didn't actually do those things and just got off somehow, just wanted to put that out there.
