I had a book in the workings for a long time. I had everything I needed. But when I sat down to write it, no matter what description I gave for the characters, they were always the Gears of War guys. So I put that idea down the toilet. Then I blew up the toilet.

Best vs match ever: my team, 4,28-something. Opponents: 83. :lol: I don't think any of them had mics, and I was with a team I've played with before, so we work well. Also, as a Boomer, I puked on 3 and exploded on the other. All 4 were biled, but I didn't get the achievement. Do I need to puke on all 4? Or can I explode on all 4? Obviously a mix doesn't work.

The servers were easy, I got the guys shooting at me to do that. It was the guy with the heavy machine gun standing in front of the exit that always got me. I finally got past him by using the slow-mo and running diagonally.

I think I'm getting the hang of versus, especially the smoker. Got both the Chain Smoker and Double Jump achievements today, Double Jump by pure luck. And is there any way to make the Hunter attack faster after pouncing? Because even when the victim is seperated from the rest by a goodly distance, they still have time to come back and blast me.

Was so easy. You get them to shoot them or shoot them yourself. :P Ignoring that first part, of course it would have been easy to just shoot them, but I was trying to not shoot at all. Now that I've done that, everything is so much easier since I can just blast everything.

I'm always literally 1 or 2 seconds away from getting the Ch. 1 speed run. I think I may have firgured out where I was going wrong- jumping from too high a place and needing to roll, thus losing time since there's no room to roll, instead of jumping to a lower ledge before going all the way down.

I suppose I don't totally suck eggs, but if you want versus forget it for now. Spleentacular is my tag.

I just flipped thru a couple of pages and saw two incorrect facts: His family-tree ends in 1997, which is incorrect, since he has relatives living in USA atm. 2, it says he didn't care about his family, wrong again, he was very very attached to his mother. Ah, ok, good. The one I read was by some American guy named Tim or Tom or something like that, I forget.

That's why during a boss fight, you don't stop for anything. Even if your grandmother is on fire. Earlier today I was playing Left 4 Dead with a bunch of mic-less people. My dad needed to see the reception on the TV because of a thing he's working on, and all my comrades ran ahead of me. At the time I didn't know how to go idle and let a bot take over, so I just hid in a room. When I flipped back to the game, I was being constricted by a smoker with all my teammates too far away and unable to hear me. I was literally Left 4 Dead.

Bought this today. It's fun, though I've only played No Mercy and started with a full group and ended with everyone else as bots :| Still managed to get every survivor on the chopper. I played a round of versus after that, No Mercy again, and it is really easy to die as Infected. Maybe it's just because I'm a noob.

I can't believe I forgot to mention this: House of Leaves. By far my favorite book ever. It's just like nothing I've ever read before. Parts of it, I think-though I'm not sure-are written in stream of conciousness, the author writing everything he thinks. I've been meaning to try out another one like that.

Turns out the well is so deep that I fall clear through Earth and pop out the other side, where I am treated by an asian medicine man in his fishing village. I kidnap TPUM while they attend a social function, disguised as a member of their bank. When they wake up, he fiunds himself locked in a room without windows, chained to a bedpost lacking a bed. Slowly, the post begins to turn, dragging the person toward the wall. The wall is covered in rusty [bleep]es.As his legs make contact and the [bleep]es begin to bite into his shoeless feet, the winch suddenly stops. As he sighs in relief, the door opens and the chains fall off. As TPUm makes his way carefully, on his broken and bloodied feet, out the door into a long hallway, every light shuts out. The air turns cold. An image appears at the end of the hall....the image of a man. I catch sight of the escaped prisoner and yell for them to stop immediately and begin to run towards him, wielding a [bleep]ed club. In panic, TPUM runs as fast as his destroyed feet will allow until he reaches a dead end. He wets himself as I draw nearer, raging and raising my club. Then the image disappears. It was only a hologram. As TPUm lets out a sigh of relief and begins to cry, the terrified urine activates a solvent placed in his trousers, which begin to smolder and eventually catch fire. As the flames trace their way up his, body, he screams, flailing, and hits a recessed switch made to look like a brick. A hidden door opens, and beyond it lies a pool of water. Believing salvation to be at hand, TPUm runs for the water, only to find the cieling cave in upon him and crush him into oblivion. Do I get points? :twss:
