  1. you say that now, but everybody started on easy. Before you know it you'll be doing expert like its nothing at all. Indeed. And beyond that, you'll eventually get to where playing like it is nothing at all will be nothing at all. For instance, even after playing Expert for a while, it was still really hard for me to play the My Name is Jonas intro. Now I can finally fly through it. I only missed 1 fricking note that whole song. :wall:
  2. tl;dr. After all, life is short. But if you think life is so pointless, where you'll simply "go to work, come home and watch tv before going to bed", then why don't you do something about it? Be one of those crazy 80 year old guys that climb several mountains a day despite multiple heart attacks and bears, only allowing yourself the luxury of a trip to the hospital once you've climbed the Devil's Thumb. And then hanglide off of it. Conquer Canada. Explore where there be dragons. Hell, just go hiking every once in a while or join some local sports team. Point is, go do something you think is worth that can give your life meaning.

Yea you can, you're only not allowed to use any guns besides the pistol and the minigun. So it's safer if you only pick up the 2nd pistol the whole game. You're not even allowed to use the minigun. Trust me, it messed me up the first time I attempted it.

That sig is still really damn tall, character limit or not.

Now, I'm no mod here, of course, but now it just looks like your siggy is too voluminous for the confines of this board. Any more quotes and it might rupture the internet itself. Just a heads up. And that rock thing actually works? Holy cow. Not even hunters can get you? And I have at least 2 competent people that we can grab, provided they're both on/willing.
  6. Why don't you check?
  7. If your video card supports Direct X 9, and you upgrade your RAM a bit, you can play Sins of a Solar Empire. I think right now you can run Dawn of War, I don't know about video cards, though. Or if you enjoy RTS.
  8. dodecahedrons.
  9. Once I heard a newscaster say, "wuddup widdat?". That must cease.

I'm pretty sure you can use grenades, just not other guns and mounted guns. It's like "the one Free Bullet" in Ep. 1; crowbar, grenade, and rocket kills were fine. Grenades and melee are fine here, just not other guns. On that note, anyone want to try a campaign using only melee/molotovs? No pipebombs, no bullets? Not today, of course.
  11. Extreme Ironing Challenge was pretty fun. Go Creased Lightning!

Its really annoying. Siggied!! Riku, I probably can't do the untouchables thing tonight, I've got a huge thing due tomorrow that I should have done over the past week or so. In case you still wanted to do that.
  13. Fixed Re-fixed.

I have a new appreciation for the Boomer. No Mercy, elevator. The humans got trapped in there at the top, but none of us could really get in. I was a Boomer, and just vomited through the hole, fell down the shaft to respawn, repeat.I got so much damage that way. Then Blood Harvest. Boomer again, level 1. Hit and run, lasted for 6 or 7 vomits before dieing. It really is a fun character to play with. And I actually got through the finale in No Mercy versus, only 1 guy died. Afterwards everyone on the other team quit except 1 guy, who tk'd his bots and let us take him out. That game, in a previous chapter, I got Dead Reckoning. Bouya.

Back 2 Help is easy, I just asked my team once we got to the saferoom if I could incap one of them to get it. He was almost down anyway. :D
  21. How could you not? I'm pretty sure everything I said was told/shown to you.
  22. Sure, but I'll need to run to the "toy" store first. The name has been officially changed to Halo: ODST. Which is Bungie's dumbest move ever. It now sounds so bland and generic. Halo 3: Recon actually sounded decent; scouting, stealthy, and the word itself is cool, even if those gameplay elements aren't actually in the game. Someone needs to write them a letter.
  23. [hide=Very well, but it has more impact if you see it yourself without knowing it beforehand]"Would you kindly" is a phrase Atlas says several times during the game when he tells you to go somewhere/do something, one being, "Now would you kindly go down to Andrew Ryan's office and kill the son of a [bleep]?". Via a wall of connected photos with "Would you kindly" written on the wall in blood, and an audio log concerning a boy (the character) unwillingly constricting a small dog, you piece together yourself that it is a mind control phrase and it is being used by Atlas. Andrew Ryan confirms it, telling you to "run, stop turn, sit" and eventually handing you a golf club and saying, in conjunction with the phrase, "kill". You beat him with the golf club until he dies. He also uses the line "A man chooses; a slave obeys." Through Ryan's dialogue on the phrase itself, he tells you about it, indirectly, and you realize that Atlas has been controlling you the entire time to meet his own ends, which turn out to be his overthrow of Rapture. Your character was Ryan's son, modified to obey the command phrase and sent to the surface until the gift you open at the beginning on the plane contains a card and a gun, telling you something like "Crash the plane, would you kindly?". The exact order is not shown, but the gun in the present is. Cue plane crash, cue Atlas-revealed to be Frank Fontaine-and his plans for domination.[/hide]
  24. Which is death. its not a death sentence, its an option Euthanasia as opposed to a prison sentence? Like a choice between death and prison? I think they did that in Holes, only with that camp or prison. That could work in theory, but depending on how cheap it is made to be to put someone down vs. the amount that actually choose it, it may cause more prison overpopulation because those that normally would die aren't.
  25. They're just compensating.
