I agree with what the author wrote, I started playing about 5 years ago, on and off, and have gone through 2 accounts prior to this one. The change that god wars has brought didnt really affect me, but i have seen how it affected other people. Eg. in pvp, all you did was 2 ags specs, and if your lucky, you k0, otherwise you run. This was even worse than ddsspec 4 times to k0. The game has changed alot, but i think we have to move on. :P

On f2p? It will be hard with a bronze xbow and bronze bolts since you need the anti shield. I'd say just melee it, as you will need to train atk+str to 70/79 in order to train your defence more efficiently.

Use golds all the way?

Dont get pray until you max out your strength. And even then, you might want to reconsider.

at 58, i heard the overlord is a better combat familiar than some of the higher levels, thought personally i used all my blue charms for spirit kyatts.

I use another method to use the obelisk: With house in Taverly, use house tele, then run to obelisk, tele to cw using duel ring and repeat. Might be useful :

With 71 def and 74 mage, i do fine. Though you need to get your atk/str up quite a bit.

I think you run to NE corner, and pray range. Range atk is silent like you said, so switch to mage pray when you hear it. Read muggi's guide on it, its very helpful!

Are flesh crawlers good exp? I know they have a few good herb drops. I was at them from 35 - 60 attack and 55 strength in F2P. ^^ Great EXP, fast spawn, auto attack, and they do almost no damage. +I trained to 86str in f2p on them :

Id recommend at least 82 mage if you have 1 def, to use blood blitz and ice burst/blitz when your in trouble. No need to bring brews, but bring range pots and purple sweets for stacked healing. It will cost a lot per try at 1 def.

He's training atk TO 70 to use a whip :P But yeah, go with obby combo, way better! Maybe use d long for the spec, or dds it depends on ur liking.

Umm, prayer level? I'd reccommend at least 60+. Anyways... i dont know what to wear, but i know you need rune x bow + broad/addy bolts (1.5k should do) then get an accumulater. For invo, use 3 range pots, 18 sup restores, and 6 sara brews and 100 diamond bolts for jad. Good luck! I disconnected on wave 50 something :wall:
