If you're a range/melee hybrid, train str on the lvl 12 minotaurs, then use the irons on the hobgoblins at the crafting guild. Right now, my pure is 68range and 60str from doing this, and about enough arrows for 70. GL

sometimes you plant them a little later than when the timer ticks and you miss a cycle. So you'll just have to wait a cycle longer.

Does anyone know the average exp per 1k iron arrows at 68 range on rapid? Not picking them up of course. EDIT: I'm f2p, sorry i forgot that.

Strength actually has a use at lvl 99, compared to fletching, which stops at 85. Therefore str>fletch. Most people get 99 fletch just for the cape, but people actually get 99 str for a different reason. You dont see many people saying "Oh! I'll just get 99 strength because I wish to get an easy cape!" -.-

That shows PKing actually requires skill :D Anyways, are you planning on f2p or p2p pking? They are very different. I can only help with f2p b/c thats what i'm most familiar with. What you should be aiming for is maxing att and str, fighting arm on or arm off wont matter. Scim to lower health, pray 15%str and 15%def, 2h for the k0. P2p is much more complicated and there are too many different builds, cant help you there.

The prayer wrecked it, too early for prayer tbh.

For people saying: get members, I have to say that members PKing is messed up. Too many spec weapons that PKing isnt really about tactics anymore. Just people all over the place using rune xbow and dstone bolts hitting 40+s (for rangers) or DDsers. That is why some of us prefer f2p pk than p2p.

Actually I love to fight mages and i dont think they are noobs, just easy kills :D

Agreed, even though i pk in f2p. I find that void pjing requires no skill.

I have never regretted getting 70 pray, even though i pk in f2p. So get it, its actually pretty fast too.

It might, one extra combat level means (probably) 1-3 less hitpoints level, or 1-3 less str lvls which could totally make all the difference in the world between a pure vs pure fight.

I think overlords hit up to 16? But then you have to right-click-drown everytime which gets annoying.

It's not only PKing, its all of runescape, I see people calling each other noobs in non pvp worlds ALL THE TIME! Don't blame us Pkers for everything, sheesh :roll:

You can get crimsons from cockroach soldiers (they are pretty decent), and yes, make pyrofiends, then switch over to the leech at 49.

he's level +125 with 87 slayer and 1 magic....... really man how do you play the game like that? You are lvl 108 with 69str and 52range -.-

Wanna expand on that just a little? And please keep in mind that I want the one which will be most effective in Pvp, not the one where i get to do the most stuff.

Thanks, I suppose it is a personal opinion sort of thing, but I was also hoping that some expert p2p PKers could give me advice which one of my accounts will do better. Because I have pked in f2p for years all my rs life, and was hoping that one of my pures would work in p2p. So I'm still looking for more comments, thanks.

Currently, I've got 3 accounts that i PK on. 1. My main, All Is Great: 77att 90str 71def 70pray 101 f2p combat, 109 p2p combat 2. My range/2h pure: 67range 60hp 40att 59str 47 combat 3. My third pure, which I'm not sure about the direction i should take him: 10att 53str 42mage 43hp 31 combat Both my pures are at 1 pray currently. Now I need your help to give me advice on which account would be best to make a member for PKing, not skilling, just PKing. Thank you! :D PS: I dont know if this is supposed to go in graveyard or not, as this isnt that much pvp related and also anyone rarely posts there =/

Actually they do, just like how you can have 1 higher max hit on accurate with an arrow than rapid.

I think for pures, or other low def low pray characters, you're supposed to use purple sweets and blood bursts/blitz, and also you have to be very good with safespotting, and luring. But yah, you can do it, if a lvl 43 can.

Use the one from canifis for all the no bonus tasks, then use the highest you can for bonus tasks (like the 10th, 50th, etc.)
