I'd have to say that FARMING is hardest, with slayer a close second and RC third. But that's just me.

Don't do that, 1def = 1hp level you could gain w/o leveling up, so keep it at 2 until you're absolutely sure you want to be initiate.

I dont think making multiple ores per rock would go well with those high lvl miners. "All our hard work was wasted! And now the mining cape has lost most of it's respect!" But... I do think adding more ores and convenient banking spots would raise the skill's popularity, maybe have dwarves note the ores for a little cost, etc.

So, basically, even though I've decided to quit RuneScape "forever", I somehow managed to get a month of membership, lulz. :lol: So, here are the questions: 1. I've decided to continue to train farming just for the fun of it, has anything changed it? Like any updates? 2. Between farming runs, which leaves a little over an hour time, what is a good choice? I was thinking waterfiends b/c I wanted to raise my summoning, but that might get boring after a while, any new minigames to suggest? 3. Any other major things I should know about? I quit (or "quit", now that i've decided to spend another month) in January, which isn't really that long ago, but still apreciate the help. Thanks :thumbsup:

I wouldn't advise 30 def, what's ur def now? IMHO, it's either 1 def or 40def in f2p.

technically you're wrong. if you have higher than 147 att and str then your combat level is formulated by melee, not ranged. wat is the point of being mage/range/melee base anyways? does it give a better performance thing or wat? because a maxed out range tank with 99 def, 99 hp, 99 ranged and 52 prayer is cb level 104... if you have higher than 147 attack and strength then you would be above level 104. Its actually 149 i believe, if they haven't changed it. The best spread for atk/str is probably 70/79 b/c you can use your whip to train your def while hitting the highest possible. But 74/75 or even 79/70 would work well too. Nothing below 70 for either atk or str though.

Actually, he can, the absolute maximum at 99 range to still be range based it 149 combined atk&str. So right now, he has a couple levels to spare.

Good post. I remember when i got scammed for a rune longsword for 20k by an iron longsword. I mined coal at barbville for a week and lost it all. It taught me, didn't hurt me, and I was like 10? I quite for a few days, then decided to try again. I agree with eatrunearrow on how these youngsters led to Jagex ruining the game. Honestly, if someone got scammed once, then they would probably learn, no need to put up extra warnings/take out parts of the game just to protect them. The most time that someone should be scammed is 3, b/c you have to learn from your mistakes. This topic was like a path down memory lane, most of the parts i remember.

Maybe my last shot at a comeback, but those rune scimmys and lobs cost too much right now :(

I play the Halo 1 trial, mostly because not even Counterstrike 1.6 will run on my computer well enough to dominate (I'm pretty good at it if I may say so myself ;) ). Halo 1 trial was fun before i got an xbox 360, especially those "RatLock in Japan" games (I dont know if they had it back then or now). Still aiming with the mouse is hard, I think the controller is much much easier.

Just one quick question, are the legendary map packs gonna be free once the mythic map packs are released?

If RuneScape the game didn't exist, I bet the book would not be considered "nerdy" to read, and might actually be another one of those classic fantasies like HP, though personally I've never read the book, so i dont know if it's actually good.

Cockroaches, or you could farm gold charms which are decent to make pouches with at your level.

Prayer and herb is too easy to train. I'd personally use them to invest in more time-based skills, namely Farming and runecraft. But you should get 65 summ, and use 1 or 2? to get 68.

Nope, its not ruined. But leave def at 70 to wear barrows. And aim for 99atk and str, along with 90+range and 94mage.

But do people even use magic in BH? Besides binds, but 59mage is more than enough for binds, i think/
