The Q&A Team wanted a little more time to test the update. Fine by me as there is one off-week planned for July anyway. Might as well use it to make an update less bug-filled. Well, right now the heating problem is somewhat better, I cleaned it with some compressed air. Now what's bothering me is these firefox crashes. I updated firefox 2 days ago, and now I still get Java crashes, and some "plugin"? crashes. Whenever this happens, firefox stops responding and I have to restart it. This is so annoying lol. Also, I'm not using a toshiba, I think my laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000, I bought it around 3 years ago.

What quest is it? You might not even have to build one yourself, just go to someone else's house and use theirs.

I agree it gets very annoying having to check which floors you haven't done, but maybe the new rings will solve this somehow. Speaking of those new rings, why wasn't it this week?

Wear an antifire shield, and maybe try a hit-and-run method? I have no idea since I bested Elvarg with a rune scimitar and full mith hehe.

Bring about 50 arrows, half a strength pot, a rune 2h and your good to go. Btw, I thought you mastered pking like 2 years ago haha.

I'm using it on a desk, which has a piece of glass covering it. And yeah I thought about the dust thing, but had no idea it coud really cause so much problems. Mainly because everything was running find up until last week, when it started to lag alot and alot of crashes... I'll try to clean out the dust, but would small vacuums work? Also, how do i check what's using my CPU? I mean just running this site, the CPU usage is at 50% but sometimes spikes up to 68-70% And a new question in first post.

Right now there's a problem with my laptop, every single time i turn it on, the mousepad and the bottom get hot instantly (ok maybe in a couple minutes). And the fan gets very noisy. I'm also having lag on Runescape on worlds where I didn't have any before. The kinda of lag where the frames get messed up and hits stack, etc. I look on my task manager and it says my CPU usage is 95%? Just yesterday I turned off most of the autorun programs that start when the computer turns on, but nothing seems to happen. One more thing, my laptop can't run without being plugged into the adapter, once the battery life dropped from 90 to 2% in less than a minute. Weird thing is this all started to happen last week, before that, the computer could run Runescape on OpenGL smoothly. What kind of problems am I having, and how would I fix this? EDIT: also sometimes when I start loading Runescape, I get an error message "Java platform SE binary has stopped working" and then my browser freezes, anyone know what's up with that?

there is nothing inherent to dungeoneering that makes this true. it's simply a standard that people like you have put in place. the fact is, it's not always beneficial to kill all the monsters, so we shouldn't be forced to. Are you telling me you just rush through dungeons without killing anything? Leave rooms full of mages + shades + rangers just to run through everytime? You can't gatestone anywhere you like, because you'd have to go there and drop a gs there first, so I don't get how you're doing it. Do you die at all during your raids? If you know there's a 255 monster limit, then why DON"T you kill any? That's like asking to get screwed over. it is often the case that the keyer can open several rooms while the rest of the group is doing something else, or has broken out of group form. especially if the boss has already been found, that one person can run through rooms full of monsters, opening doors that are known to lead to nothing of particular interest except perhaps new keys. i never said that i leave entire dungeons full of creatures, but you would be surprised at how easily you can hit the monster limit, especially given that barrels, statues and mimes count as NPCS Yeah, I know that's the case, but what do the rest of you guys do when the keyer is opening the doors? Don't you clear rooms so he has an easier time to run back and forth? If you intend on leaving 254 monsters alive, doesn't that give you a pretty big level mod penalty? I don't know because I never left 254 monsters alive in a dungeon before.

Unfourtunately, I don't think these have been going on since the removal of the wilderness. They were really fun though :sad:

Basically, train strength at the minotaurs in the SoS, then use the iron arrows they drop on the hobgoblins across the crafting guild. Get 70 range, and 60-ish strength before you go pk. To make some money, you can consider buying items from shops, like water/earth runes, also running air runes on w16 is good.

Also, use barrage, get an arcane stream necklace if you can. Without battle robes, you'd get around maybe 300 crims/ 1k casts. I have no idea how much mage exp you get though.

How much do you lag in w117? I'm wondering because recently I started lagging in 117 too. There's a 6 second delay between me clicking/typing and the game actually registering it.

Wouldnt that loose money if all the items sold for exactly the asking price? He said MIN +1, I think you read mid + 1. Also, when trying to flip, go look up the GE charts, if the item is rising, you might have to buy above mid.

How can you get 105k exp/hr with an arctic bear, sorry for thread hi-jacking, but I'm curious. Pay constant attention, use the 3 trees close together, but trap the 4th and go check it if you have time. I managed to get around 48k/ bear at around level 77, and I had to do a random event as well. Maybe not 105k, but breaking 100k is certainly possible.

Skeletons under varrock sewers, zombies under varrock sewers, or skeletons by the edgeville ditch.

Red sallys is about as fast as it gets. You can get 105k exp/hr with an arctic bear. Penguins might be good, but I've never used those, so I don't have an opinion on them.
