  1. Thanks, also about bosses, the unicorn would be good at most of them I assume? I'm mainly thinking about questing for WGS and Tds.
  2. So if a high level player rates you low, they're immature? :-k Maybe your post sucked, idk. Not that, mostly the amount of spam in there lol.
  3. I just got 88 summoning last night ( :shades: ), and was wondering on which tasks would a unicorn be better than a bunyip. I'm guessing waterfiends, but also want to know about other tasks. Also, where else would a unicorn be very effective?
  4. It's off topic. I'm not saying construction is the most useless skill in dungeoneering, nor am comparing anything. You can't compare construction and wc, one's a processing skill and the other is a resource skill. You can compare wc with fishing/ mining/ farming, etc. where theres 1 tier every 10 levels. Now if you look at fletching, cooking, crafting, (and other processing skills), you'll notice they have different tiered stuff you can make. I'm ranting about how the update hardly made any difference at all to how construction is used in Daemonheim. I mean, look at it, 5 zeph + 5 bovi for a level 75 altar... That doesn't make sense to me when I look at other skills.
  5. Black demons, but I don't know if you can actually cannon there, since the dungeon entrance is in the chaos tunnels. But you need 70 dungeoneering for that and I don't know your level.
  6. I feel bad about your castle wars situation, but nice collection of trophies! 10.
  7. So what if its just 5 new things, its still more useful than woodcutting. Uhh, not really.... Look I don't want to get into an arguement here about whether construction or woodcutting is more useless so, let's just drop it and not get off topic.
  8. WC has a use, to chop higher tiered logs for better cooking results, although it's one of the less useful skills. Technically, all skills have a use in dungeoneering. With the new construction update, we can build a grand total of 5 new things! Woohoo! And what? A skillcape stand that requires 99 dungeoneering... lol. I was merely hoping for something like this in this update: lv 1: tier 1 farming patch (2 novite bar + 2 tier 1 logs) lv 4: tier 1 range (3 bars + logs) lv 8: tier 1 altar (5 bars + logs) ... lv 98: tier 10 altar Not a photo booth, lv 25 farming patch, lv 50 range, lv 75 altar... <_<
  9. I'm guessing you've never made a pure back in the day where your attack styles weren't saved upon every login, and you have to remember to change it everytime, or else you'd get attack levels...
  10. I agree it's good, but like I said, there were so many possibilities, and I didn't expect less than tiered construction items. Guess I was wrong
  11. All_Is_Great posted a topic in Rants
First off, I dont HATE the new updates, they're great. Bonus dungeons, good; rings, good; frost dragon, lookin forward to being able to kill it one day... BUT, the new construction hotspots? Just 4?! A photo booth (wtf?), a farming patch, a range and an altar... When I look at all the other skills (namely herblore, smithing, crafting, fletching, summoning, etc.) and see how they have stuff from 1-99 in Dungeoneering, and then look at construction and see a level5, 25, 50 and 75 requirements to build a grand total of 4 different things, it makes me sad. When July BTS came out, I was really pumped about finally putting my favourite skill to good use, instead I get this crap. Honestly, I wonder how much time they spent on this? 10 minutes perhaps. Why couldn't they have made tiered items for contruction? Maybe a tier 10 altar gives 10 more prayer points per recharge, and a tier 10 range never burns food up to tier 9, possiblities are endless! All in all, very disappointed with the hotspots, but the others were cool.
  12. Really disappointed with the hotspot additions. They could've added different tiered stuff like the other skills, but no, they have 1 at level 5, one and 25 and another at 75 <_< Other stuff looks great though~!
  13. If it's true, then thanks for the head up! But maybe it's caused by the bonecrusher
  14. Because he's found a more efficient way to make money than standing in front of a yew tree? That money he made to buy those santas didn't just come out of nowhere, he started somewhere just like we all did, just like a level 70-80 player. Go pontificate somewhere else O and Duke Freedom was under 90 combat. You can't compare anyone now to Duke Freedom, because the game has changed ALOT since Duke last played.
  15. You need at least 750k in there, since it takes 10% of what's in your coffers. So yes, if you have less than 750k, the more you have the more you make. Anything over 750k and it doesn't matter anymore.
  16. Tbh, I don't think Tip.it has enough volume to make an assist section work. I mean, look at the marketplace section... Probably what will happen is someone posts a request, then get it ingame, and forgets about it here. Or the other way around.
  17. Cold War... is the quest I'm doing... and I don't know anyone with a house.. but me... lol.... Thank you for your answer... though.. :D Ah, I had a feeling it was that quest. Just hop on over to w31 and go to either yanille or rimington, more often than not, there will be high level houses with a maxed out crafting table.
  18. It's worth it, especially since you can get the +4 damage bonus of the ferocious ring.
  19. Thanks for the link Guy, I had some trouble finding it, but its working now :^_^:
  20. I used to care about f2p pking, where str was all that mattered most of the time, but after that went down the drain, I stopped caring. I leveled about 2 strength levels in the 3 years probably.
  21. I don't think overloads at your level would be any good, so I'd get prayer. Plus, prayer cape untrimmed is silver coloured. Although untrimmed herby is pure green, which also looks very pleasing. Uh... I'm gonna talk myself into a circle here, so I'd go with prayer. Also, with prayer, you won't get the constant Effigy spam/followers like you'd get with a herblore cape.
  22. Despite what some people say, I found some storylines quite intersting, like the pirate line, I'm also starting the Myreque line right now, and I loved the way Meiredytch (sp)? was built. I had tons of fun going on that "agility course" of a city. I'd say most quests in RS has a good storyline, and is very enjoyable, but some are just annoying (looking at One Small Favour <_< )
  23. It's pointless to avoid training HP if your just training ranged and strength. The point of a Range-2h pure is to have higher hp than average and to make quick KOs. This gives somewhat of an advantage over strength pures, which focus on hitting high.
  24. oh......but what about those pvp worlds? aren't those still possible? There are only a couple pvp worlds in all, so I'm guessing we'd be crashed alot, unless you trek up to GDs and hop there... But yeah, I'd come too if someone set one up, those were fun times
  25. For those of you who think high levels = more mature... Go to the RateThis! section of this board, and you'll find yourself wrong.
