This new dungeoneering is a minigame thing is turning into the old Wilderness arguement. I guess it probably won't die out for a year or so... OT: I support, they already delayed last week's update (which turned out crappy imo), now they make us wait another week :rolleyes: It'd be good if the update wasn't something significant, but elite TT sounds fun! Also at the beginning of this month, I was really looking forward after reading the BTS, and I can say it hasn't lived up to expectations.

Any calculations or information to prove that it was actually worth it? sure, it's a nice drop and great spot of luck, but if you factor in the lost xp and money due to wasting your time running around the whole of runescape, was it really worth it? I doubt it was worth it in terms of efficiency, but likely in terms of fun and achievement. The fact that you are not guaranteed a 3rd age item if you do 10k clues is why they are just not worth doing. ... but they're fun to some people. Even if I get dejected from getting 2 rune daggers and 15 sharks, I always do the next one. And I had a good streak a couple weeks ago in which I got 5 zammy pages, 1 sara helm and 1 rune (g) kite. But now I'm not running dry on TT items, but their values were pretty low, like trimmed plateskirts and guthix dhide chaps. Anyway, this is just like any luck based thing, like boss hunting. People aren't guaranteed a hilt everytime they kill Kree, but they still go on countless trips, so why not do clues with the same mentality?

Also themed worlds suck because I have high PING for almost all of them. Only one I don't lag on are stealing creation and trouble brewing, which are my favourite minigames, so no complaint there. But when I want to play a couple games of CW, the constant lag really puts me off. I really liked it when the CW update came along and there were people playing on each world, but then that turned into level 80s playing other 80s in a fixed game where one gets the flag cape and another gets a kills cape <_<

After a lot of my friends from several years back have quit (like my old PKing buddy who quit during dec 07 :cry:) , I never add people anymore. Or add them then never talk to them. Only people I talk to on PM are people I know irl...

Larders are the way to go, and using the workbench is very slow. Once you get to 74, ditch the larders and move on to doors.

Don't worry about not having a 99, I only got my first a month ago, and I've been playing for several years. Don't force yourself to fish for a month for a cape either, train something you like. Try out different skills, then focus on one. I tried out hunter, slayer, construction, crafting, etc. and ended up loving construction, so I kept training it. Just don't give up on your goal, and you should be fine! GL :thumbsup:

Don't train on monks, apparently they now give 5 prayer exp when killed. Only kill them if you want prayer.

fally shield shop and the spawn north of varrock. Oh sweet. I'm glad they didn't completely remove it. Yeah it kinda sucks as a shield, but more for the nostalgia. And actually, it has no negative stats so it's nice for newcomers to experience different combat styles without suffering negative bonuses or having to change to a different off hand item (which they probably don't have anyway). I remember using those on my mage pure :shades:

LOL whats Jagex going to do remove free trade, and the wilderness, oh wait. I dont care how many people do this, it doesnt affect me, what would affect me is Jagex ruining the game by trying to fix it. You're right, but it's still a pretty big problem. And it's only getting bigger, eventually, it'll start affecting people like us. Already, some parts of the game are unplayable, like soul wars (have you seen how many bots there are at that place?), and red chins, etc. As they start developing more bots, they might take over...

I'm surprised some people still don't believe botting is a serious problem in runescape... On a site-that-shall-remain-nameless, a site where people are dedicated to cheating, you'd be surprised to see the attitude botters have nowadays. Mainly they say "I'll just bot soul wars for 95 pray, probably get a temp ban but I'll wait it out", or "I'll just bot 99 hunter, make some cash and sell the account". I can't believe how narrow-minded some of you are on this issue, and still use the whole "let them bot, doesn't affect me, w/e"... RWT is starting all over again, account trading, macroing, etc. I wonder what kind of drastic change is going to happen this time, remember when the wilderness was removed?

By the looks of it, dagannoths look better. But I've never used either for combat, so don't take my word for it.
