  1. Fastest way = ZMI altar.
  2. They're just really hard to get. I happen to have 3 of them in my bank lol
  3. I think most, if not all, scans are different. I've done a couple on Mos l'Harmless, and the places were all different.
  4. I never thought that being inefficient and achieving less would be held in higher esteem by the RS population than being efficient and achieving more. Specifically, I am referring to RS's inexplicable fetish for untrimmed skillcapes. I don't get what untrimmed skillcapes have to do with being inefficient :-s Uh, OT: I'd never have thought that the old wilderness would be removed
  5. There's no point in argueing between you two. You guys play the game differently. Aeil is a maxed combat boss hunter, while Est0rrath is an f2p pure just looking for some casual money making to PK with. One says the only real way to make money is combat, and the other says woodcutting is a way to make some extra dough. I don't think you'll ever come to an agreement, and both of you are right to an extent. It's just you're not thinking about the issue in the other's point of view. Aeil, not everyone enjoys combat, or has the skills (in Est0rrath's case, defence level) to hunt monsters, so woodcutting just might be a good way to make cash while also gaining some exp. And obviously, a person with your stats is not going to cut yews for money, but you gotta understand not everyone is level 130+, or even enjoys monster hunting. Monster hunting is competitive, and sometimes there's gonna be jerks going around crashing everyone and flame wars will start. Woodcutting is relaxing and is a good way to have a little chat. So both of you have good points, but really, it's like comparing apples and oranges, your not gonna get anywhere.
  6. Dual wield air and fire staves! No more need for elemental runes ever.
  7. I'd like to add a vote for construction. I really enjoy designing my own dungeon, then inviting random people on w31 for a party! I just wish you could somehow own more than one POH, so I wouldn't have to tear down my current one for a different design
  8. I don't think that's whats going on here. Botting is against the rules, therefore some people (like Langer, myself, etc) don't like them and think it's wrong. While other people (you, Saru, evil eye, etc) like bots because they lower the prices of raw materials. I don't know about you, but I'd like a game to be played fair, and by the rules (that's why we have them in the first place). Also, regarding raw materials, I'm sure if there were no bots, then more players would go collect these materials, because the profit would be better. So eventually, it'd all even out, like supply and demand. Right now, low prices on raw materials are what's putting me off from training hunter on red chins, or fishing lobsters, or runecrafting, etc. I think alot of others are the same, if the price of raw fish went up because less supply was coming in, then they'd go and do some casual fishing in the fishing guild. And lastly, Saru, don't call yourself "being sarcastic", because your not, you were trolling and you know it. When you're sarcastic ALL THE TIME, it gets old. I mean, it was funny the first few times you made fun of Sw0rd95 and his bot hunting stories, but you're still doing it? Still posting "sarcastic" remarks on his blog, just give it a rest already. I'm sure he's tired of you too. If you don't like him, then just ignore him  Let's face it, you were asking for it with your posts. And when langer said "botter-loving (I usually spell that without the loving), you got really defensive, and according to your quote, Langer is probably right.
  9. I meant a lifesaver from all the requests I get just standing in a bank
  10. You'll thank them when you decide to get turmoil. No, not really...
  11. Actually since the update on 4 days ago, when people request the assistance of maxed people, the one requesting assistance will see a message showing how long the person they requested the assist from is maxed for. The assist request will not even show to the maxed player in question. Yea I just noticed this update today, what a lifesaver!
  12. Get the fury if you don't have anything else to spend the money on, because letting your cash sit is probably the worst idea ever. And don't let the whole "if you're not wearing a fury, then you're a noob" talk get to ya, I don't use a fury and I don't consider myself a noob <_< I also slay in rune plate and legs haha
  13. Wow, all I got to say is Wow. Haven't done a black dragon task in several months, so when I got one, I decided to kill the baby blacks in ct. And what do I see? Around TWENTY, that's right, 20! bots, all dressed up in dmed/rune plate/d scim. Levels ranged from high 70s to 128! Several months back, I only saw a couple bots and some regular players there, but this is getting way out of hand.
  14. You might've put them in the wrong order. I brew ales regularly, and you add water first, then barley malt, then the hops and finally ale yeast.
  15. Personally I slay using all three styles, I find it more fun, and adds variety. Since your not asking for melee, I'll go ahead and tell you what I do for range/mage. Range: Use rune darts on low def monsters, and espcially in kuradel's dungeon with a ferocious ring. One monster that comes to mind is greater demons, while you can also try it at gargoyles. For higher def monsters, use broad bolts (iron dragons) I don't use range much outside of kuradels, except for nechraeyles (sp?), which you chin in chaos tunnels. Mage: I use slayer dart in kuradels, and with ferocious ring + fsh + sol + stream, I can hit over 350s. You can also mage metals, and other monsters if you can find a safespot. One important thing, if your serious at all about range/mage slaying, you gotta buy the autokill feature once you hit 75 mage, it's totally worth it.
  16. I would also recommend slayer dart over fire wave, because with a SOL, you can use slayer dart. Slayer dart maxes at 100+mage level, while fire wave maxes at 200. I don't know your mage level, but if it's high, then slayer dart is pretty cheap and good.
  17. Why'd you get a pulse neck? Shoulda waited for stream. Uh, probably go with glory?
  18. Well, it's going on with more than just firefox, so I don't think uninstalling and reinstalling will help. But I will try the chkdsk thing you speak of.
  19. Why can't you trim your own armour? How do they get trimmed in the first place?
  20. It's fine the way it is. You know what will happen when you can give unlimited assist? Everyone will be training combat to train other skills like rc, herblore, construction, prayer, etc. Soon, collecting effigies will be the best exp for some skills.
  21. Crashing is all good when it's needed, but today, this 136 crashed me at bronze drags <_< So I said, "I'm done soon anyway, don't worry." And he said "L, im killin bork" I said "Bork is that way" He said "ROFL, i know" :wall: What a jerk... /rant.
  22. Lol, ITS SO INTENSE!
  23. I'm not talking about server lag, I'm saying I have a 5 second lag between me clicking/typing and my avatar moving/talking. And my ping is only in the 130s, it didn't lag at all a month ago, but now its crazy slow. Maybe it's just me then =/
  24. Hey I was just wondering how much everyone lags when training dungeoneering, because my avatar starts to move around 5 seconds after I click. Is this normal? Or is it just me?
  25. Nope, the auto updater thing never came up because firefox kept crashing lol. I'll download it right now.
