Hey man, if you enjoy it, you shouldn't need our opinion, forget what everyone else thinks ;) I got 99 WC because I enjoyed it and I haven't regretted it. Even if most people don't "respect" it, or don't respect it as highly as others, they don't insult you for it, and I occasionally get compliments on it. I started at 69, which isn't much higher up on the xp chain ;) You can do it man. ^^Plus i made a ton of money off of the birds nests and seed drops :) Be sure to wear a strung rabbits foot!

Well I see far fewer crafting capes, so I would have to say to wear that one...:P Or get an outfit for each and trade off :)

You have to have done the Evil Dave portion of the Recipe for Disaster quest. You use your cat to catch the hellrats, and they drop spices. The different color spices add or subtract based on their given skill category (red is combat, orange is creating/making skills, yellow is uh..."self-improvement" is what Tip.It calls it, and brown is the collecting/gathering) You add these spices to a stew, each portion giving a + or - 2 to the skills in their category. It's random so you'll have to try out a few stews before you could get a +6. But just get a stew and add 3 orange spices to it and try it out.

Just thought I'd point that out. : Abyss would probably be your best bet, either laws or natures. ZMI is slightly faster xp I believe but it's harder to make a profit. If it doesn't matter to you go ahead and do it...

Well all I know is your first Construction question. Gilded altar is level 75, but with Stews from RFD, which can give a max boost of...6 I believe, with Orange spices (correct me if I'm wrong, someone), but that's a bit unpredictable, if you have the Crystal Saw it gives a hidden +3 bonus which can be used to build higher items, as well as a +3 from Teak Shelves +2, you make a cup of tea with the porcelain cup. Not sure if the saw and tea can add together or if they're by themselves... Sorry I can't help with your other questions, as you can see by my skills I'm not a big user of either con or herby ;)

wiht your stats you shouldnt even say a word, its not quick....its a hard skill to get 99 becaus of its boringness, theres a reson only abotu 2-3k people have it. now, no its not slower than rc or anything, but 4 of my friends tried, and failed, 99 fm anyways, only do a 99 that you actualy want and are devoted to, its no good achivment if its something you dont care about Actually about 11k have it now. I have it and I agree that it's cheap and useless, but I wanted to trim my WC cape so I did it, and it was a challenge that I enjoyed Anyway to answer the topic, you could always go for 99 mining, that's free once you have a pick :) Cooking is probably the fastest and easiest for you, I enjoyed WC though, because it's also fast and you can make a decent bit of money off it when you're done, whereas cooking... And just so you know, in my opinion, you shouldn't feel the need to go through all the work of a 99 (all are hard work, regardless. Some just more than others) just to show off. I get 99s for myself, because it's fun to set a goal that challenges me. Just my personal opinion on the matter.

At least once you have the maples to start burning ;) Edit: Going to go ahead and make a recommendation: find an online video site, or watch DVDs on your computer, or something. Helps the time go by faster, gives it a little background noise ;)

Well I'm choosing not to debate with everyone here, I'm just going to supply you with a list of my most respected capes. All capes are respectable in my opinion because no matter what they are they still take a fair amount of time and effort, even if it's two clicks per inventory. -Slayer (my personal favorite, red and black FTW) -Farming (one of my least favorite skills, which is why I respect the effort so much) -Mining (while fun at times, it takes a long time to achieve) -Runecrafting (I really enjoy this skill but the XP is fairly low so I think it's quite an achievement -Prayer (if I had saved every GP that has ever crossed my hands I still probably wouldn't have enough money for this skill) First of all, I get 99s for ME. I don't get them so I can get respect from others. I play this game to have fun and I set goals for myself to have a bit of a challenge. I have 99 WC and FM. Personally, my reasons for getting WC were because it would get me a feel for the effort of a 99 without a daunting task ahead of me. I also *personally* got FM because I consider it to be the biggest waste of a skill in the game and if I went ahead and got 99 I would NEVER have to think about it again. Like I said, these are my personal OPINIONS so flame me if you want, but it doesn't truly matter. I won't go as far to say it's stupid, but I don't think you should spend hours in game trying to get 99 in a skill so others will respect you. Do it for yourself and your own goals.

I like killing dagganoths (sp?) They're very quick to kill, don't require a whole lot of food, and drop a decent amount of herb seeds such as snapdragon. Also level 2 clues.

Ugh...it looks so tight. I just can't wait for it, it's going to rock!

I would use a defender on your shield slot. Once you have one they're easy to get (even if you lose, as long as you have an extra!) I have 24 I think, I've even gotten them back to back from the ogres before!

Hmm...well, regardless of what it's for, I'm excited to get a new item. :) Almost to 99, but I still wouldn't mind a couple more of the new eggs. :P Just give me a head start on the competition. :P And I already tried to sell on GE, no good. :(

I got this while WC yesterday, it's for summoning, didn't realize they released them yet though. EDIT: Well, I THOUGHT it was for summoning, seeing as how I saw a picture of it on the Summoning Dev Diary, but some people are vehemently denying that it has anything to do with summoning... On my side, I shouldn't have assumed it was for anything, because they hadn't announced it yet. My bad.

Hi, I'm 97 WC at the moment, but it just occured to me that I may want to get the actual 99 in free, so that more of my friends can come. However, I want to get a screenshot of the message saying you can buy the skillcape etc. I know you can't actually get the cape in free; but I want to know if you can get the message... Thanks!
