hmm why not start off my post with a nice shiny achievment!? Woot. Well, about summoning. I think it's a good skill with a few pretty big faults. 1.TOO SLOW! I'm thinking it's gonna be months before anyone is 99 in this. They really should have made a faster way to train this. 2. Very expensive. Not to mention the charms are a pain in the [wagon] to get. Same with the secondaries. 3.only fractions of xp for summoning things?! That's bs. That should have been the major source of experience, the actual summoning. You should also get experience for damage. 4.The effects don't look to great to me. I didn't read all of them, but from skimming they don't seem very good. Well that's my little rant/review thing. G'NIGHT!

I'm pretty sure they'd get owned by our military. I saw a video about it and someone( i think it was a presidential candidate) said about the speed boat incident "They have no idea how close they came to meeting those virgins they're supposed to get" lol.

Not really a day, but about 6 days. I had this killer flu or something (not sure i was in first grade) and i threw up 3 or 4 times each day and had a 100+ degree fever most of the time. I missed the entire week of school, it sucked.

Well if you think it's broken you might as well get it checked out. Why are your parent's gonna be angry at you for slipping? :-s Well in the meantime, put some ice on it to bring the swelling down.

Hmm a decent bank for you level 7/10. Try getting some of those lower stats up(hunter) easy way to get your total a bit higher.

BUMP! first post here in a while. I was really busy all week with school and stuff, so i didn't get on much. Today i did druidic ritual, then got herb to 22. Also got 40 mage and black mystic :D and..450 total! It's 453 now. I'm gonna go train slayer as soon as i get a lantern(dumb cave slimes).

I tried it yesterday, but it didn't work. What are the specifics, like does the bowl have to have water in it, do you have to have 3 items that'll protect over it...etc And to the above post, it's the fact that he caught a lobster before it went "You attempt to catch a Lobster" (so he caught a lobster before he put his cage in the water) I think you just need the karamthulu, and three other items, then it works.

I actually don't think this is a bug, more or less Jagex leaking stuff :P This has to be more than just a bug.. someone put some specific code into the game to make this happen. My guess is that part of the way familiars work is that they are released or something else happens to them if you die and they aren't one of your kept "items". This code was put into the game in advance, like some of the other Summoning bits, since most of the Summoning monsters don't actually exist yet. Jagex either forgot that the squid is already in the game, or else left it as an easter egg. I have to agree...this is not by definiton a "bug" .... the code was put in the game and nobody at RS thought it would be found before release of summoning or didn't care ... but awesome find nonetheless I just wonder what ever made you think ..."hmmm...let me get one of the Karamathulu squid thingys from that Rum quest and die with it in my pack just to see what happens?" :shock: They way you guys find things simply amazes me. Maybe they've been sneaking some of the code in, just so it's not as big a download when they release the skill. Just a thought i had. Can you talk to it? what does it say? :shock:

That about covers it. I never understand what the point is of these sorts of threads. Just because you cannot eliminate 100% of something, that doesn't mean there's no value in getting rid of 99% of it, and that's what Jagex has done. 99% of it hasn't gone. I'd say about 70% of gold sales have gone. Initially, it was higher, but now people are developing methods of trading. Gold shops have reopened, the price of gold remains at $5-6 per mil when it was $4-5 BEFORE these updates. If it were so hard to trade gold, wouldn't the price be higher? You're just generalising with me here. Go to the sites, have a look for yourself. More and more ex gold sellers who quit when these updates came out are coming back because it IS possible. But you just said it went up a dollar per mil...*points at bolded part*

You'll probably get the lowest level one from the quest reward. And maybe you'll have to buy more pouches from somewhere in taverly as you level up.

Noone "moved" anywhere. You underestimate the size of the business. They were ALREADY on Everquest and WoW. As well as ANY other online MMOG you can think of. Well the workers that farmed on rs went to WoW and everquest.

How are they selling gold exactly? And jagex monitors ip adresses. If someone suddenly started logging in 2000 miles away from where they usually do, that might set off some warning flags in jagex's system.

You're the one who flamed him for posting a picture you automatically assumed was fake, just because it'd be easy to fake, and then went further on to flame him for getting on his friends account for a minute or two while he was right next to him. And now i'm going to stop this argument also. because if we carry on the thread's gonna be locked :?
