  1. I think in almost-thoughts and vaguenesses.
  2. A more nonchalant (easily be thought of as cool, my go-to when I'm tired) thing would be "How do I know you?" And go from there. But I haven't paid attention to your situation.
  3. I am of the belief that you should exchange numbers during the rising of the conversation. Of course, you need to end a conversation at the climax.
  4. I like the whole "woman" thing. Although last night there were the two girls that graduated ... Last year or this year. I forgot what a good pair me and Travis made as well. Especially on the girls that are, you know, exactly the kind we like (most of them). Mad crazy. I get to see every branch of high school romancing, and how they're all not good. The uncomfortable kids with their uncomfortable girls, the football guys with their weirdly enthusiastic ladies. Ha, ha. This will be a good year.
  5. The only reason to be worried is if she keeps on mentioning me often. That's bad. I think I might be some kind of god at my school. I forgot how easy it was to attract high school girls.

There are a lot in Texas. I need a proper job. I just turned sixteen, and now I have reliable transportation (once I get my license - maybe Monday). Did that concrete curbing over summer, and that was fun and payed well. I would love a job like that, but unlikely since I have that whole high school thing. I like hard work.

My Fridays will be interesting. We have all eight of our classes on the same day, every Friday. The best part? It's eight classes. At least three will have textbooks within the next couple of weeks. Argar.

From what I know, generally the best coffee comes from grinding your own beans (the people who've taught me this also roast their beans themselves). I would look around on the internet for some kind of coffee sampler. A bunch of small amounts, pre-roasted and pre-ground, one kind might last you a couple days. That way you have something new all the time! Yes!

Our first day was just like how it would our schedule will be normally. So today is another first day, for my other four classes. I'm excited and enjoying it. The past summer has really aided me in the whole .... Everything.
  10. Perspective, perspective, perspective. That's what makes us unequal. Agon, an Ancient Greek concept, covers this quite well. It judges the innate goodness of ... Well, everything. But it takes it in from a certain viewpoint. For example: a big dead tree is great for me. It may be more useful than a small live one. I can turn it into firewood or construction wood. Or just sit on it when I'm tired. But for a small bird, or perhaps a little insect, the live tree is far more good, even though it is small. All you have to know is: you're the judge. You can judge whatever you want. You may think it sounds egotistical or whatever, but eons of evolution (or creation, or combustion - whatever) have ended up in you. Take advantage of that specialness. God, I'm inspirational.

New Year's Kiss. This/last year. Really lots of New Year's Kisses, but that's beside the point. That is the beauty of being on a ship an hour from Eastern Standard Time. And on that ship are girls from every time zone you can think of. Mm, that was fun. Not particularly amazing, though. Perhaps I'm dulled to kisses, considering I don't consider them a big deal any longer.
  12. So. On my birthday, the majority of the day was spent dancing on one of the city's most major streets (especially Saturday, since it was the day everyone was moving in to Tech!). We didn't really wash that many cars, but we earned $163. So that was nice, since we were only charging $5 per wash. A guy gave us fresh peaches, too. And we picked apples from my tree and made lemonade for anyone who wanted it. Anyway, I was dancing shirtless next to the street, with a sign. Apparently girls (mainly first-year college girls) kind of dig that. The whistles and honks were the biggest ego boost that I've had ... Ever. I can't remember if I was uncomfortable with my body (not really, but I thought my friends were more ripped than I - not so), but I definitely am not now. It was really fun. Especially when some black dudes tipped me five bucks, and the two separate times girls yelled that they wanted to _____ me. Another girl said that I needed to call her. That one was kind of weird. Oh! And some sorority girls stopped by for a wash. Now that was interesting. My friend Travis called dibs on the driver, but she turned out to be ... Not either of our cups of tea. I liked the passenger. She was very cute. And I have a theory: you become much more charming if you've been an over-the-top extrovert all day. It was just fun to flirt with the girls driving by. I'd lower my sunglasses and wiggle the sign at them. They'd either laugh or stare straight ahead with weird faces. There was also video taken of me doing my booty dance. I wish it were on Youtube.
  13. I lucid dream, but I generally just do what I'd do normally in the situations (I let the dreams play out). I don't need to yearn for things in my dreams that I can't have in reality. That would be very detrimental to whatever it is I do.
  14. Can tell from the eyebrows. That's the kind of old man I'd like to be. You can always trust an old man with pins in his hat.
  15. Which is funny because he said the exact same thing as you. So he's an avid reader of Cracked. Build it on Ground Zero. Now it's just a building close to a place. I think there should be a temple for every major religion at the top of those "Freedom Towers" that might never get built. A community center wouldn't hurt. Basketball at 1,000 feet! Woo!
  16. Don't a lot of major soccer games end up with riots? Lots of people take things too seriously.
  17. How do we even know she was fired simply because of the hat? Maybe she's an awful reporter in the first place, and that was merely the last straw. And Dan: the video is just of the coach. All the reporters are off-screen. There's no reason she can't show some respect to the coach by taking the hat off - it's hair. Maybe she did take the hat off and he answered more questions. We have no context apart from that one question and one answer.
  18. Nor did he fire the reporter. William Randolph Hearst would be proud, all the same. Not exactly a close comparison. Like rocco said, she works for the radio station whose job is just covering the team. A closer comparison would be someone who does some Republican talk show wearing clothes they got at the Democratic Convention to conduct interviews. Maybe someone should have offered the lady an umbrella, then all this would be solved.
  19. Losing their job was a bit far. But you can't expect much better when you work for a radio station that is based around one team. That's really bad judgment on the reporter's part.
  20. I can help you there. Real men shave with meat cleavers and olive oil. You can actually use olive oil, either alone or as a base to a shaving cream, or as a pre-shave treatment. And wedge-shaped straight razors can be used to carve a turkey in some cases.
  21. Wow. Looks more like a capybara.
  22. Aye. Look good. You can certainly have a signature thing, but if your entire outfit can't anchor it, you look like you're just peacocking (and not even going all-out with it). On an unrelated note (since this is one of few threads I frequent), I've nailed down driving my car. Not killing it at all, and washing it nicely Sunday. Getting a haircut on my birthday, and helping with a carwash to raise money for my best friend's car that got prematurely destroyed. School Monday, but I won't be driving until I get my license - hopefully that night. Then I need to try and wrangle up a parking pass.

OH SO GOOD. Mashed potatoes and bacon green beans with it. Ice cream cake afterward. Tomorrow we're going to a Louisiana kitchen, fantastic place. And on my birthday Saturday, I'm grilling steak with my dad. This is the good life. Oh, and my mother promised to make me a thick chocolate shake. I'm glad I work out.
  24. I actually have a hobby of licking public toilet seats. That was a lie, I'm sorry. You can quote me out of context, though.
