No, once you have defeated a Champion you can never again receive a Champ scroll from the monster that drops that scroll. Why would you want a second one anyway, though?

We care because the plot is very interesting! I think it's funny how Jagex doesnt seem to know exactly how strong a mahjarrat should be. Lucien gets killed super easily in Temple of Ikov, and Gen. Khazard was a pushover

Hmm, well I both agree and disagree with you in many pars, MHL. I do not believe that this boss battle is too hard, and I do believe it should be a Grandmaster because a battle of this difficulty in a Master quest would be ridiculous. However, at the same time, I think that they should have waited a little longer to release this quest. The underlying plot was interesting, but it was just that, an underlying plot. We learned that Nomad worked for Lucien and has since quit and was trying to charge himself up to kill him. The boss's difficulty is abstract compared to the difficulty of the rest of the quest. I think that a longer dungeon and adding some out-of-dungeon scenes with plot exposition would have made it so killing Nomad felt more like a showdown. As far as I'm concerned right now, I think my character would try to ally himself with Nomad, but instead we start killing each other. I'd enjoy more reason to kill Nomad instead of that my character dislikes him gathering power. Basically, my complaint is not that the battle is too hard, I think everything about the battle is perfect. I think that the rest of the quest was too short. The battle difficulty is greatly enjoyed by me, however. The plot was there, but should have been more intricate. The things that occurred in this quest set up more towards the sequel to WGS, but could have set up even more. Perhaps if areas were added in discovering the creation of the soul obelisk and such. Despite my complaints, I still enjoyed the quest and find it a great addition to Runescape. I just concede that it could have been even better.

I love how so many of the Quest Capers are angry about the difficult of this quest because it makes it so they can't wear their cape. I'm glad that for once we have an accomplishment in Runescape that not everyone can do. I have yet to defeat Nomad and I've done pitifully at it, only got him down to 80% hp and I've taken two tries. At the same time, I'm happy at how ridiculous it is. I don't care if I have spend millions and millions on trying to kill Nomad, that is one hard boss and I'll feel great for having beaten him. Nobody is forcing you to do this quest. If you can't beat Nomad, pack your quest cape away and qq somewhere else. You were told that holding on to that cape would get harder and harder and if other people are able to complete this quest at relatively low levels with a bit of luck and a lot of skill, so can you. The quest cape is not a right, it's a privilege.

Hurrah! I just defeated Glophren and am now once again, a Champion of Champions! It took me approximately 9.3k kills to get that elusive last Mummy Scroll. I had quite a scare during the battle. After lighting her on fire, my whole computer froze for a second and the screen went black. When I got back, the RS client window wouldn't show. I freaked out and x'd out the window to hopefully disconnect myself from the battle before I died, as the Mummy Champion actually was able to put up a bit of a fight. When I got back, I was standing outside of the Champ's Room. I ran back in to re-challenge the mummy when I was unable to open the door and the guy claimed I didn't have a scroll. I looked in my inventory.. It was gone! I went into a huge panic for a few minutes until I realized that I actually defeated the Champion during the disconnection. Whew! Glophren's ability to turn off my prayer caught me by surprise. Anyway, time to walk around and show off my XV Banner with pride! Just added the section on Banshees, Aberrants coming soon. I have yet to earn my Mummy Scroll, but hopefully some chinchompas will fix that.

Bugtesting is remarkably slow... I'm going to recruit a couple more people. Most people who have start have simple stopped replying, or haven't even started playing it yet >.< I'm worried that because I took so long to release it, interest in my game has completely dissipated. I'll have to try to make some more Hype after I release it, haha.

You do realize that the deflect prayers have the same drain as the regular prayers.. right?

I simply wouldn't alch the axe because it's a free death. If I die and lose it once, I can get it back for free. It's not like the 120k or so is really worth anything

However, whats the deal with the purple smoke? I can tell the flash was a video effect, but I cant think of any item that makes the purple smoke animation.

Hey Den, I just finished the quest, but I didn't ever a skull headed man do the purple stuff in the temple? Can you explain to me when and what that was..? Or anyone who knows.. in Spoiler Tag of course.

Congratulations! I hope to be joining you soon. :D I just got my banshee scroll this friday. I think I see you in the Champion of Champion's RSOF topic sometimes? It only took me 589 kills to get banshee! And wow, you sure got those scrolls quickly! Scroll drop two days in a row? Awesome.

I know I have to update this guide, however I'm currently in college and a bit busy. When things slow down for me a little bit I'll fix the problems, but until then I guess everyone will have to sit tight?

There is a Werewolf Champion sitting on one of the thrones, however.

I would guess that the best spot can be found in the Chaos Tunnels.

My favorite update of the year, to be sure. I can't wait to run around with my 10 Champion Scroll's Banner! Oh, and it looks like I have to return to the hunt! That gnome champion is definitely going down! I'll update my guide later too.

I'll probably just save the Abberant Spectres one for on slayer task unless I get really anxious for it. Looks like I'm going to go hunt for mummies and Banshees soon!

Curses! The Runetek 5 update has really thrown most of my guide material out the window. I'll have to change stuff around... -.- And completely throw out the Bandos guide.
