  1. Hrm, now if I forget my dice to a dnd session I can log on and roll my runescape character's set of dice XD
  2. Oh that's one of the most aggravating things ever. having over 10k kills and someone gets it in less than 100 :(
  3. congratulations yourself on the new challenge scroll! I hope your next 3 come quickly!
  4. Could you give a quotation or something? Because if so, looks like we'll be seeing a lot more giant scrolls haha.
  5. The dialogue is only a little bothersome but what's REALLY bothersome is the over-exaggerated hand and body gestures. Also, Sophia running around with her pants unzipped was weird.
  6. Just to give a status update I just finished what I think is one of the last two or three cutscenes I'll have to make. I yet to make the ending cutscene however, which for obvious reasons will be one of the hardest ones to make.
  7. Wow! I was totally not expecting this! :) My second AOW'd guide! Now I had really better finish it! =X It's still missing a few races. Thanks a lot for the AOW! I'm so proud of myself =) By the way, I have just added Earth Warriors. I've heard about you too Jard ;) I like your monster examine database, it must have been a lot of work.. ;_;
  8. I ended up getting 3 because it was the only one they had available, but plan on ordering 2 online. Thanks for the help guys!
  9. I'm interested in playing a Star Ocean game and Star Ocean 3 looks better than Star Ocean 2. Is it important to play 2 before 3, or are they all stand alone? Because if not I'll play 2 before 3 easily, unless 2 really sucks (which I doubt it does.) Sorry if this post is a little small but I guess I don't have a lot to articulate here. simplified, if I go buy one Star Ocean game right now, should I buy Till the End of Time (3) or The Second Story (2)?
  10. Sorry about the delay everyone. I have successfully finished all my exams and my new student conference. This means that I no longer have distractions from making the game. Im hoping to be done in the length of a few weeks, hopefully even less. Thank you so much for keeping an eye on this topic. I'll try to get some new screenshots in here soon to prove I'm not just blowing smoke.
  11. Runecrafting could also be considered artistic ability
  12. making bolts while doing slayer? Oh dear. Maybe I'll start levelling fletching XD
  13. We can't all be happy all the time. -.- And farmers have definitely gotten the sweet end of the deal. I was watching the news today about GM and about how plants are going idle for weeks to let demand catch up with supply. Now I realize you can't freeze herblore for 2 or 3 months to let the market buy up potions. But we need a similar mechanism to balance things out. Chew on this idea... We have house teleports that let you use large piles of runes on a portal and create gateways with permanent teleportation capabilities. Let's apply this to the potion glut. How about a way to imbue jewelry with the attributes of potions? Say you provide 100, 250 or more of a potion and a ring/amulet/necklace/bracelet to some NPC, along with perhaps a cash fee. The NPC gives you back an item that will protect you from poison, or raise your fishing 3 levels, or anything else you can currently do with a potion. You wouldn't have to re-dose - just wear the item. That would help whittle down the stockpiles of potions. Let the free players have jewelry imbued with normal attack/strength/defense pots and give the supers to members. We could even use the shilo fletching gems in these new rings/amulets/necklaces/bracelets and help out the miners too. Doesn't hurt the farmers, helps the herblorists... I think it would hurt the herblorists and the farmers. While you have to provide a lot of potions for an end all jewelry, that means that person will never buy one of those potions again. I know that I've used far more than 250 of heavily used potions. The only way the jewelry idea would work would be if potions required were insane (like 1000, or way more than that), they were sellable, and you got experience for making them and required a high herblore/magic/crafting or something level to do it. Even though, in all likelyhood such an idea would increase the glut, unless these jewelry decayed (after hopefully a very long time.) Think about how overpowered a prayer potion amulet would be. You'd have infinite prayer.
  14. I don't like this being on second page :( So do you guys think the recent update giving more variants of monsters scrolls might mean we have a chance at getting more champions? I mean it means jagex at least remembers it exists. (Though they apparently totally forgot while making graphical improvements)
  15. I liked it, it was quite humorous. It's rare that I dislike a quest. And also, just a word to everyone who ever dislikes a quest. At least they're not like the quests in most other games. "I need some . Kill x monster y times. Thank you."
  16. Am I to assume certain NPCs were never dropping challenge scrolls when they should have been? This excites me greatly because it means they still remember that thing exists.
  17. Actually I just got 40ish of them a bit ago. I'm pretty sure the game guide used to say 60-90 but it seems they have since changed it to 40-80
  18. Man the wyverns are generous to everyone but me! XD I just got my first wyvern task not long ago actually. It took me 113 duradel tasks to finally get the wyvern task I had been waiting for for so long. I didn't get any notable drops but it was fun! I hope I can get some more soon.
  19. I would of preferred to see a 95 or something slayer monster, but 78 is still relatively high leveled as far as slayer monsters go. I'm excited as this means the drops it has will probably be worthwhile, and I love aquatic monsters so this should be fun for me. It uses water magic though? Might have to pray on him then.
  20. I don't believe that jagex would give ACIDY his one item, that doll thing?
  21. I'd say mostly because people prefer new content over old content. It's the same reason that people always clamor for the next update when they haven't even experienced every minigame etc. that already exists. also, the new quests are for the most part better made than a lot of the old ones.
  22. also sometimes a misclick can be deadly. I had to withdraw food once from a bank while someone was trying to kill me in a bank (I got him off me for a second) and went to withdraw-all monkfish (I have like 10k). What I forgot was that I still had Note-Items on and instead withdrew ALL my monkfish. I was able to bank them again before dying but holy [cabbage] that was scary.
  23. Just a warning but don't try to see what jagex says when you try to cook that thing. In case you're wondering, it's something along the lines of "You cook the shark" #-o
  24. I wish Jagex would acknowledge this minigame somehow =P Like, maybe say they still plan on updating it sometime in the future like they promised but it's unspecified, or say they've given up on it.
