Taking it too far
1) Is this normal behavior for the slightly above-average gamer? When they want to get something done I'd say yes it's average. 2) When does this start to become a problem? When it starts becoming an everyday thing and stuff like eating at the table with your family or doing your chores stop happening. Basically when it becomes an obsession. 3) What's the worst example of this you yourself have done? The day before I was planned to get 91 RC I played for around 18 hours and made sure I would get it the next day. But then again that was right after x-mas break started and we were snowed in.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
They will keep rising until the demand starts to go down and people start to sell because the price got high enough. They won't crash though, this time they'll remain the top money holding item in the game like they used to me. I'll give you a blue partyhat(well, transfer enough money to you) if partyhats never crash again. Not crashing? everything crashes. EVERYTHING. Because, funnily enough, crashing makes money, and money is what people are after. Partyhats, as a jagex'es genius plan, are a very bad investment- top merchants could make much more than the louzy 0.5% percent by trading other items, and thus partyhats are bound to crash, but go around in very large circles. They won't crash and be terrible junk like they were after the GE was released and what not. They will drop after they start to stablize but they will forever be an item to hold GP because of the 2.147B limit which a lot of merchants have already. Also the percent per update is 1% not .5. Your right that everything will go down but whether it crashs hard is a totally different thing. Hard crashs would be like 3rd age which partyhats won't do.

Just returned to runescape-what is up with phat prices?
After the removal of staking and pking many players quit and when they did they sold off all their partyhats causing a massive increase in supply and a decrease in demand of partyhats to stake causing them to fall. They were frozen in the GE from then on because the buy amount for an update was too large. Jagex then manually adjusted partyhat prices and changed the limits along with the drop rise margin to 1% each update. So they did a slow fall(with a few buyouts inbetween) until 3rd age started to crash and then merchants needed a new item. It was then that they got bought out and 3rd age dumped. This is what you see today and that was a crash course in p hat history after the grand exchange. Basically because of the low grand exchange prices and the high street prices noone is willing to sell them on the GE. The GE updates slowly but surely every once in a awhile and partyhats near their street price but it is very slow. Basically they are worth a lot more than the trade limit allows you to trade so people buy with junk and yes they do pay these prices. Edibles recently got bought out due to their low GE price and low demand. So they are another unbuyable item like partyhats that people use to try and get one. Read through this thread for some partyhat history and updates: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=788147

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Kudos Island isn't North or cold enough to be the update they're talking about, if you ask me. The second GM quest then perhaps? Where we have to travel to the Northern lands, looking for the Mahjarrat? Or Zaros maybe? I'm stoked nonetheless. Jagex said don't expect another GM quest until next year.

Just something to be aware of
I've never seen or heard of anyone that got misuse of costumer support as an offence. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened but I imagine it's only given out if you spam costumer support with reports that have nothing to do with anything. The disruptive behavior rule is a very broad rule and a lot of things can fall under it so you'll be fine and I'm sure Jagex will know they are autotyping scum. If you report for macroing however you will have close to 0% chance of being punished even if they weren't. Jagex encourages people to report macroers if you suspect them of doing so, so they will get a lot of false macro reports.

They can't mute unless the guys admit to autotyping and I don't think they can mute for the type of spam they are doing. But it is reportable and Jagex can own them with the ban hammer. Well I've done it several times...you may be right though, I don't know. It's worked for me so lol. I asked my friends to come mute those guys once and they told me they can't without them admitting to autotyping and that kind of spam isn't serious enough for an insta mute.

Ruining a rusher's day - your opinion
What  Did they do another update? I know that afetr the first one diamond and ruby didn't work still, so it would strange for dstone too... Noo I zanik bow special then switch to regular c bow and dragonstone (e). I've done 55-54 zanik bow than 55 with d stone e for the k0.

What does excessively mean? Also what do you mean by last line? They sit in the ge all day and spam I think that falls under excessive. If they are disturbing the atmosphere in game and bothering the community then Jagex will get them because they could potentially lose subscribers and maybe get DDOS'd some more or even......that dreaded brick threw their window.

Price manipulators and macroers are very different. I have heard from many people on this board that price manipulating clan chat leaders often cheat other users out of their money. How is that not scamming? Also using autotyper is not exactly macroing, but i think i read using it is against the rules. If it's not i would like to see some proof. Even so they are flooding the chat, which is against rules. Nothing is being done directly to cheat people out of their money. Rather, a price manipulator advises people what to buy and sell. It is up to these users to use their knowledge, provided both in-game and on the Grand Exchange, to make a decision; it is not against the rules. Autotyping is against the rules but it is not reportable unless a) they admit to using one or B) begin to type non-game related spam. I shall quote again. Jagex is not stupid they know if someone is using an autotyper or not and those advertisers have been muted many a time for using one. They also tell the people to buy the item and at what price to buy it. They don't suggest it they tell it. It may be up to the users to make the buy but they lie to the players and give them false information that encourages a very bad buy. Lying to players and tricking them is scamming therefore it is against the rules. @Sirhemen: Continue to report them as much as you like. It does not say in the KB you can't report for autotyping nor has a J mod said so. As Jagex says P mod are no more than their eyes and ears in game so what they say is not law unless they quote the KB.

Well manipulating is against the rules and they are promoting people to do it. Price manipulation is not against any rules. But flooding chat (Unnecessary messages) is. And that's what majority price manipulator clan chats do when they advertise at G.E. But it is not considered spam as per the rules. If you wish to take action you may do so. Further action may be taken by Jagex staff at their discretion. Price manipulators and macroers are very different. They may be different but in the end they both hurt players playing with either forcing them to pay more, not allowing them to sell their items, or spamming public chat so they can't read messages. Noone likes to see "join this clan and make millions" every other line in their public chat. As Sirhermen said they still make the chat go away faster even if they are on your ignore or you put chat to friends.

Just something to be aware of
Well manipulating is against the rules and they are promoting people to do it. Price manipulation is not against the rules in-game. However macroing, flooding the chat window, and trying to scam other players our of their money is. So they are clearly breaking atleast three rules there and the cc owners are most likely behind the autotypers so they should be punished too. They are banning mains of the merchant clans now though. It's only bannable if those [developmentally delayed] actually admit to having them. Ex: "i is usin macro 2 type dis atm" That came from a PMod I know, and the same thing from another one. Edit: Rage@@@ AT LAURA@@@ All reporting for macroing does is flag the user for their system to investigate so yes you can report for it and yes they might be banned.

Just something to be aware of
I usually report them for macro or use of bots because they are autotyping fools. I'd love for Jagex to instate something like the Rico Act on them because the spam is terrible and it scams the players who fall for it.

Try looking through this guide: viewtopic.php?f=103&t=785659 Also Pm Erichermit for anymore questions. I'm pretty sure if you die during the challenge you get a chance to fight him again.

Are Dragon Claws going to crash?
I said this before.....they can crash in a matter of seconds. You can try to sell min on the GE and I doubt they'd sell. Graphs don't mean anything because they are not updated every second. Do looking for yourself if you wish but they are crashing.

Not the baby ones but they are besides the big ones and you can get attacked by the big blue dragons if you go too close. So bring an antifire shield just incase.

Are Dragon Claws going to crash?
Actually they crashed, got bought out, and now crashed again. So they are starting their crash right now so wait a few updates and buy when you feel they are worth it. Tip: Ge price raises and falls do not neccessarily mean the item is crashing or rising. Things can be bought out within minutes and dumped within seconds.

Are Dragon Claws going to crash?
They seem to have already crashed.
