  5. My friend had the same problem, dual booting 32bit and 64bit seemed to be the best way to cure this computing ailment.

  7. Not London. If you did that, you'd be better off staying in Indiana. Uni's outside of London tend to be less expensive - personally I would reccomend the University of Western England, or Bournemouth. The cost will still be high for a foreign student though.

I also found a student saving program: click. I read on the site that the battery life can be up to 7.5 hours, perfect for something like a long lecture :P

  22. 1GB RAM? That could be your problem. Also media center operating systems are NOT designed for running super-high detail games (it's kind of in the name :P )
  23. It's been proven often enough that Firefox renders web-pages better than internet explorer, and now, more and more websites are getting developed for Firefox, not IE.
  24. right click -> run as administrator?
  25. If it can even cope with excessive RAM?
