The new payment methode ...
From the UK, i've payed with my card, phone and text before i nthe past. Card is about £3.50. Phone and text were £5. So whatever country you're in, i imagine it will be roughly 30% more than whatever you're paying at the moment. Just stick to plastic if you can.

Paying for members
I doubt it. If they could let you do that, it would be there for you whatever coutnry you're in. I use visa electron from the UK. The reason i doubt it will work is because, if it's limited to the UK, that probably means it is limited to UK BANKs. If your Visa Electron is with a UK bank, then perhaps it will work. If it's with an american bank etc. then it's unlikely to. Can't hurt to try though, worst case scenario is that it will get rejected and you'll have to pay some other way.

Black Demon
Spot on, other than... for that many you won't need 3 pure sets, only two. Only take 6/7 p pots, you won't need 20, and you'll want inventory space. Take nats and fires for alchs to conserve space on-task. Use chaos tunnels. Combat familiar if you can, and remember it's fairly fast to bank sooo... Careful not to smack a dust devil on the way there and you're set. Also, careful not to click the western portal: dragon fire isn't nice.

Second floor
correct I THINK you can get downstairs through the fancy garden too, the marble dungeon entrance? ^o) Also, i think the trapdoor in the throne room is another one that lets you build downwards, once you can make a oilubette (oh man don't make me spell that one).

ranging dust devils
They're...hard to describe. In the smoky well: 1) Near the fire giants chambre, stand in the entrance to it. Just immediately northwest of you you should be able to see some lava on the floor with the wall just north of it. The northeast passage here has 2 (or 3?) dust devils in it. If you stand to the west of the lava and range over, that's one. You can actually stand a lot nearer to them to do this, on the east side of the lava, but this is impossible to describe really as it uses invisible walls. Go there, hop around, i'm sure you'll see somebody you can learn from 2) the entrance to the smoky well, just east and the first south to that room with lots in. hug the east walland run south until you fidn a little dip in the floor. There's another invisible wall safespot here. 3) Chaos tunnels. Go to the east side of the dust devil room. stand exactly 2 squars north of the portal. (the square [triangle actually] directly north of you will be a darker shade). Picture this dark square as a stool to range over.

Uses for beasts of burden?
They're a godsend on some slayer tasks: - Any dragons (bones/hides/mith bars) - Abby spectres - Warped tortoises (shells)

Quick slayer ring question(s)
Wait...that wasn't very clearly phrased so just to make sure.. Player a) has the ability, but lvl 1 craft Player B) has no ability, but 75 craft Player a) can use player b)'s crafting level in order to make some rings. Player B) cannot make rings, with or without assist, as they have not bought the ability. As i udnerstand it anyway..

Junk Trading: Acceptable, Practical Practice?
Indeed, i did say that, that was lack of clarity on my part. I was stating we are paying slightly more in junk trades than the market price would be in reality, which is obviously a lot more than Jagex price. I udnerstand precicely what you're saying, agree with it, and said it all...i just lack clarity, english was never my strong suit =(

Junk Trading: Acceptable, Practical Practice?
Junk trading is, essentially scamming, but not players, jagex. They're causing us a lot of trouble, and making us pay more for stuff. The laws of supply and demand dictate the prices of items (even if it is sold in a shop, all that means is that when supply is too small, the price will fall towards the shop price, and when supply is too high the price will drop below it, think runes: if NOBODY made a nature rune, the price of them would be the shop price, and stabalise there, if everybody made millions of them it would be considerably less). If something is hard to com by, the price is high, if it's easy to get, the price is low, that's how it is. Everybody knows this, but i figured it's important to say to make the point clearer. Now the GE and junk things get...stupid. Lets take my sheep mask, i got it from a clue a month or so ago. I'm not sure how much it is on the street via junk trades, but i believe around 6m. If i'm wrong it doesn't matter, this is the theory i'm discussing not the specific example, so lets say it's worth 6m on the street right now. In the ge it's worth about 300k. So what is the price of the item, i ask all you against junk trades? Is it 6m, 300k, or something else? I believe somethign else, but closer to 6m than 300k by a long shot. The reason they're impossible to buy upon the grand excrement, is because they're very very hard to come by. If they where worth 300k, as the GE suggests and Jagex believes, then you would be able to get sales at the 300k price. That's just how an economy like the pre-GE days works, so obviously this price is wrong (if it was right, you would be able to buy it at 300k). So why isn't it worth 6m? Because, i believe essentially, whilst that is the street price i am forced to do mroe than just sell it. I'm going to be selling it alongside junk which i have accumulated. This is awkward, and no matter what, a little time consuming. For the extra effort and awkwardness i'm going to want to put a slight overhead on the real price it should be worth. Call it a labour charge, you want the mask, i have one, but i have to spend time and effort making it happen. So i think if the GE didn't exist, and free trade did, the mask would be more in the order of 5m. So yes, i guess you could say people adding junk are scamming, but not really. They're adding a teeny bit onto the price to help cover the rediculous awkwardness they are forced to endure, thanks to Jagex' lax GE monitoring. I don't think it's really scamming, just meaning that i empathise with the point somewhat. However what's the alternative? The real price is, say 5m. I sell it on the ge for 300k. Jagex just robbed me of 4.7m because they don't bother to update prices. How bloody wonderful. If you complete a trade, using junk, at either end, it isn't perfect for either of you. The seller had to accumulate said junk which is awkward, and the buyer had to play a slight overcharge for the effort. Everybody loses, thanks to the fact Jagex won't update their prices. If i sell on the GE, i lose 4.7m that i should have had, i just got scammed hardcore. And the person who bought it just exploited Jagexs failure to manage the game properly. So no, junk trading isn't perfect. It leaves the oppertunity to scam open. Probably opens a potential loophole for RWT. But it's a case of making the best of a rediculous situation. If you're against junk trading, picture it like this. Lets say, for the hell of it, we where playing 2 years ago before all this problem. Lets say Jagex released a new guide in the knowledgebase! It was a "item prices" guide! Awesome! (and they implimented this int othe game in such a way it shows item value on the trade screen, just with no limits on how far one way or another a trade could go) Now lets say you just fished 10k sharks, and jagex had them listed as worth 50gp each. You know the real value of them on the street is 1k each. Are you going to sell them at 50gp each? HELL NO! You're going to go against what Jagex said thy're worth, and get your hard earned 10m. But what's that? You just scammed them! The trade window said the sharks are worth only 500k and you made them pay you 10m! Is that scamming? or is that realising Jagex ballsed up and doing the best you can? If you stil lthink it's scamming, then hell, i guess you'll never see how any even simple economy like that in rs works. Just because Jagex thinks item is worth X doesn't make it true. Jagex thinks my mask is 300k. It's not true, else i'd be able to buy it at 300k. Also another side note. I agree it's difficult for Jagex to keep a tab on every single price of every item in the game 24/7. But they're doin g, essentially, nothing. All the animal masks, rares, godswords etc are way off, and it would take me literally half an hour socuting the forums to make a spreadsheet of all the correct prices. Not every item would be perfect, but it would make 99% of what people hate about the Ge disappear overnight. If you hate junk tading passionately, tell me this. You just did a lvl 2 clue scroll and got a mask that sells for 6m. If the GE and trade caps never existed, it would sell for around that price. It is sellign for that price with junk right now. But jagex says you're only getting 300k for it. Wouldn't you be a little annoyed with Jagex now? And a little frustrated that the only way to get the cash you worked for is with a method like this, that inconviniencs absolutely everybody involved? People use junk trades to get the prices they're owed, with their own varying overheads placed on top depending how annoyed they are they had to use junk. Now using junk simply to rip people off, i agree is despicable. Junk or no, GE or no, the price of a whip is 1.5m, and easy to buy/sell on the ge, therefore anybody trying to sell for substantially mroe is as much a cheat as they would have been doing that 2 years ago. Anyway, i only skim read this thread, but i am absolutely amazed by the fact some people detest junk trading. I've yet to see a properly constructed argument why though... If anybody wants to tell me, type it out plain and clear like i have just done for the argument why it is neccessary, don't hide behind jokes and accusations. "it's bad cos its circumventing the 30k limit" is not an argument. That view, essentially, makes this MMORPG into what a single player rpg would be like if you had a chat program running at the same time. If we have no control over our own economy, it's stupid. If we can't sell and buy things for the prices they're worth, what would happen is everythign would settle into one of two groups: a) thigns like 3rd aged now. Valued so low by jagex nobody with it wants to sell such a rare peice, therefore nobody can buy B) things like, say, gold bars now. Valued so high, nobody can sell them because they're too expensive for people to have incentive to do so. All i want is somebody to give me a legit argument why it's a bad thing to junk trade my mask for 6m, isntead of getting 300k for it on the ge right now. I haven't sold it yet, thoguh i;ve had it months, largely because i cba collecting junk. Convince me what i should do.

Row?
They've explaned it a lot of times, it's not just dragons drops, it's any drop classified as rare by jagex. I IMAGINE obby stuff will be. If you want to know more about it, just run a quick search here on the forums....it gets explained in detail in pretty much every thread about the ROW. The whole "roulette wheel" thing. It's also in one of the old old guthix god letters page in the archives on runescape.com, go read if you want the official version.

What do you think Jagex does with it's money?
Your statistics are flawed, and i take offence. You make it seem as though us europeans are crumpet [bleep], doing little else than sucking the worlds flour and yeast supplies dry for our own filfillment. That, sir, is a travesty, and quite unacceptable, allow me to produce you with the facts so as to help you understand. Your figure of 51.012% is somewhat misleading. It must be remembered that a crumpet, in its raw state, is not the entirety of the savoury goodness, there are many other factors to consider wrapped up within this commonly quoted "fact". For starters, there are a number of toppings that can be used: take a good 4-7% of that off right away. These topping can include a wide range of produce from Jam, peanut butter, coconut oil extract and shampoo. As such, Jagex is not simpyl attempting to conqour the crumpet market, but is also pouring much needed money into the economies all over the world, even those of Rimmeland and the L'Oréal province of Headandshoulders. Please look at both sides of the coin when discussing the pros and cons of monopolisation over any market, not just the evil side of corporations. Now i'm going to OD on crumpets and work on my master plan to rename pie charts to Crumpictograms. Good day sir. Yeah, i'm bored. :] p.s. they probably also spend a lot on legal mumbo jumbo. I've no evidence whatsoever for this, but to be frank, the amount of severely annoyed and hurt people i've seen regarding relations with jagex, it's inevitable there have probably been cases...or will be. They also have a lot more costs making things i mean, nearly all the software they use to create the game is written by the company - that's a LOT of behind the scenes work. They also probably put a large slice of cash into their other projects: Funorb, Nextscape (as they call it, we can assume that is mechscape).

tips from tipsters
I'm going to stress this point. As a member, when you kill things, they will drop "Charm"s. 4 colours: Blue, Crimson, Green, and gold. I asvise you to pick up every single one, you'll thank yourself so much later. Really i mean it. If inventory space is very, very tight, priorotise them in that order. If you don't train summoning until later, you'll look back and cry at allthose charms you left on the floor otherwise.

slayer heads
Confirmed, i have 4 cockatrice in my bank 1 basilisk. My girl has 2 abby demon, and one of every other in her house (it's like a slayer museum o_o).

death runes
Are these guthanable? Yep! They're great. They don't hit hard, drop fish, both noted and unnoted (raw, so you can lop a tree down outside or something to cook if you want a more extended stay), drop regular bones (b2p), the only real bad thing is you'll keep getting stuck on all the debris on the floor. There are no special req's other than the quest, slayer level, and a spade afaik. Even a fairy ring right there for fast bank trips (well, just outside the cave, DKS).

What do you think Jagex does with it's money?
They probably need to buy some of those in-toilet cleansing freshener things once every 3 months too, don't forget those.

Runescape, ever cried over it?
I've shoutwed at the moniter until i've become hoarse, bruised my knuckles on said monitor countless times, made lots of high pitched squealing noises (think, y[bleep]chdogs RRRrrr!), but no, never cried. Makes it more fun to get into it though :]

Familiar hourglass not running...
Not that exact thing, but using familiars on quests tends to be buggy...i've had lots of familiars vanish into thin air, familiars dissapear until i relog, lots of things like that. They tend to bug out with cutscenes and teleports in the quest and special areas and stuff, report it.

68-70 Magic
Hmm, obviously the old standby is metal drags, but i don't really thing you're in this long enough to see a decent return. You could hit the chaos tunnels and bolt the bronze drags, banking every bone (and maybe the occasional d legs, but don't get your hopes up), and that might work out nicely. I've done something similar before for slayer tasks and it's not half bad, and doesn't take too long at all to bank. If i was in your situation, this is what i would do, just don't forget an anti shield and anti pots! Use the best BoB you can too. If you don't want to face dragons, it's going to be harder. You could try doing barrows runs using the spells. If none of those appeal to you let me know, i'll try to think of something else.

Varrock Diaries-Smithing/Farming help.
For smithing, go with mith bolts. Buy the bars and smith them for a small loss, or blast furnace the oresand then smith them into bolts for a more cost effective method, though slower xp. For farming, first off go plant oaks in all your tree patches, then systematically go round and plant the best herb and fruit you can in each patch. Each time you level see what you can do the next time for more xp, and just keep going, until you start to feel it is too costly, then keep with the crops ou have been doing. MOST seeds are very cheap, but there are so many options availible it's hard to advise. At 32 farming you may want to stick to growing ranarr in your herb patches: though this will be slower xp in the end because you could be planting something higher on th way to your goal, it might help cover some of the costs (assuming the prices work out nice, i havent looked in a long time). You can probably tell farming isn't my strong suit..

Help this slayer noob out please.
As i'm sure you're aware, the uncharged version gives you a 15% attack and strength bonus when wearing it killing a monster you are currently assigned for by a slayer master. The charged versions, which are the origional drops, start with 10 charges. "Black mask (10)". These charges are pretty much useless. All they do is, randomly, on any monster (and players too), is activate on their own and reduce the opponents defence some. I'm not sure how much, since it's pretty much a waste of space, and you can't control it, i've never seen a study into it. You can only use the mask for a slayer helmet when it's uncharged, and theres no way to "recharge" a mask.
-
Help this slayer noob out please.
Confirming, you can only make them from the uncharged black masks. They never degrade or run out or anything like that, you can always dismantle them if you want to sell the black mask.

Fishing: Whats the best profit / hour fish
The best PROFIT is shark. Monks are DECENT profit, not as much as sharks, though much better xp.
