  1. Getting 91 through ZMI then rcing a phat will take longer than just straight off rcing a phat. Astrals will be more profitable, providing you can actually shift them - just keep an eye on prices of everything, including death runes.
  2. yeah it's an all or nothing deal so it makes no diff whatsoever, id recommend just getting one of the 250 ones though, makes the task ahead seem less formidable.
  3. All have their srengths and weaknesses. I like to use zybez, tip it, and runehq all the same. With all 3, i have all the resources i need. However, if i had to pick JUST one, it's be tip it. Whilst it lacks the sheer volume of useful stuff of say, rhq, what (lot) it does have is generally very accurate.
  4. Not out yet so nobody knows. I'm not tryna be a git just, idk what can be discussed really since we know nothing. I gotta say though, isn't it amazing how much Jagex has written on summoning, without actually revealing much at all?
  5. I wish you luck, but honestly i think you should set your goals lower. How about, getting everything ranked first?

Be careful...unless it's BLINDINGLY obvious you smith get hurt for false reports. It can happen, it has happened, it might happen to you. Just be careful.
  7. Not worth it for rnage either, in fact, ESPECIALLY range, as it's much easier to check your gem. And with range being as slow as it is, you want all the boost you can get. Each to his own i suppose.
  8. ^ b00m just use gloves and a gem.
  9. Karils, whip, and torags where never used for their specs like that, the only effect bh will have is less people hoarding whips and such, they still all own for training etc.
  10. Can somebody whos been doing it recently tell me how hard they are to push? if i put up 10k, will thye go within the hour at mid price?
  11. I'd use nothing lower than mith, addy if you can scrape it. Don't worry about enchantment - might be worth having a few hundred for drags though, use them until the drag is poisoned then switch to the cheaper tipless ones.
  12. yes it's easy enough pro melee, wear hides, it's not a tough battle, and gets easier the lower it's hp gets mine have never died, but those hops are welll easy to grow so, your call - i don't bother.
  13. Just for the record, when i said i think defence has more of an affect that magic level, that was speaking only from what i feel i experienced in training them - may or may not be true. I've never heard the 70/30 figure, but i might be wrong about what i said. I can't find anything that says which has more effect.
  14. You're right, that is fairly obvious :) Thanks *edit* Is there a difference between monster attack and player attack? You're talking mostly barrage and stuff, which is players, which I dont really care at all about. You know if it's the exact same for monsters? I assume so. I'm 99% sure it is the same, as for say jellies and stuff? the magical melee attacks i'm not so sure. I assume it's the same, but i'm not sure.
  15. It's never actually saved me, because the only way im gonna die is if something is hitting constant 30's on me...but it makes me feel safe.
  16. Everytime a Santa is lost/alched the prices raises about 1.2 mil. Everytime a green mask it alched it goes up 400k. Blue goes up aobut 600k. And red about 1.4mil Those numbers are well high, i see so many santas and stuff, i bet ltos of people quit every day, and it doesnt go up mills every day.
  17. The higher your skill levels and Magic bonus, the less likely you are to get hit. You will also receive less damage from a spell. Which part of that isn't specific? :s Higher mage level the less often you get hit, and the less numbers you get hit o.O so that means less hits by tb, more splashes by barrages, and less likely to be a 30 with barrage.
  18. Rc > chins > fishing Fishing isn't good money with current market prices. Even though rc profit has been severely reduced, it's still some of the best out there. I'm not sure how profitable chins are atm, but to be honest i'd do a bit of both. Rc till you get sick of it, then do chins till you're bored, then rc. It always helps to do it like that. Also consider barrows, i hear it's becoming more and more profitable.
  19. kb From ym experience, defence level has a much bigger effect than magic level, and armour has the most effect. Magic level just helps a little bit - especially against the higher level spells in pvp.

yerp, rune cbow and mith/addy bolts is great for training xp =] iron and msb if you're on a budget bone if you like, want really really cheap xp.
  21. gun_hippy replied to highlanders's topic in Help and Advice
Nope x2, only use for its spec :P Unless, of course, you wanna train with D arrows, then it kicks [wagon]. But that'd be silly.
  22. Yeah depends upon: what would you be fletching and burning?
  23. Hmm First off, i haven't ever owned a GS, nor will i ever, but i've read enough on them to give my opinion. Honestly, i wouldn't bother. However if you're really set on getting one, i'd rc a zammy godsword, kq with it using mace for spec, and if you decide you want a better one use your drag drops to save for a better godsword. My 2c, might want to wait for a reply from somebody with actual experience though.
  24. It's only 20k...... not like, the biggest rs decision you're ever gonna make >.> but what mamong said.
