You need 83 slayer for d boots, the mages are the only monster to drop them - so that's out. The drop rate...i've heard everything from 1/40 to 1/200. From what i killed on release day, it was about 1/80. It's probably rarer now, jagex likes to do that. The only other great reason to go there is for the godsword etc. which means the boss monsters. Alone, i don't think you'd do too well. You might be able to solo the zammy boss..possibly bandos - i've never killed them but i've seen vids, i recommended looking on youtube for some zammy boss solo vids. Onoly the bosses and their guardians drops godwars junk. Unless you're willing to do some tough boss fights theres not much down there for you to do.

They remove vids that violate rules, fair enough, i don't know of any innocent vids being removed.

I burthourpe all "spiritual" tasks. I havn't killed any rangers, at all, but they sound very similar to mages. Just with range instead. Heres how i dealt with mages on release day, i havn't been back, but this is what worked for me after one experimental run. Unfortunately it involves praying :/ this was fine for mages since te 2m *st the time* constant boot drops payed for the pots and then some and then some. Essentially, high melee defence plus pro mage prayer. So for the rangers i'd do the same except obviously with pro range. Only bother if the drops pay for your pots. If they don't burthourpe it. I wouldn't have bothered with mages if it wasn't for d boots. So use your judgment to see if it's worth it for you, theres no point if they don't pay for the pots as they're not great xp. Always remeber to use something of the god room you're going in. I like the sara room best. You will only be aggressively attacked by level 90ish and 70ish werewolves/vampires, and half decent melee armour will last you a long time. Around 6 prayer pots and the rest of my space in shark lasted me about 150 mage kills, i'd imagine rangers are roughly the same. I'm sorry i can't help more, it's all down to whether the drops pay for the pots imo, and having never killed them i can't really advise. And or the record, only mages drop d boots. Personally, i would burthourpe. It's not worth the hassle.

It's a big monster under fally gardens, you kill it and trade its skin and claws in for nests with wyson the gardener. Kinda awkward to kill, but not hard. Theres probably a guide somewhere on tip it or the aow.

well for 1k ea, add 300 for the nat, thats 100gp loss - less loss than a lot of other methods. And if they rc their own nats..

In the nicest way possible...with that attitude i doubt you'll ever be very rich. Big wealth comes from hours of repetitive activities, with very few exceptions such as staking or dk's, maybe look into something like that?

Most drop rates are merely hearsay, i beleive the general consensus is that the drop rate is roughly 1/20,000. I have however heard everything from 1/10,000 to 1/40,000. Remember however, that that is the probability. You can get one on the first kill, or the millionth. ROW will help a teeny bit, it will increase the probability. It is, of course, impossible for us to estimate when you will get one. If everybody killed millions of dust devils every day, the AVERAGE time people will get one is on the 20,000th kill. But that would have to be an average over a large sample. I do not reccomend killing dust devils AIMING for a chain unless you have very good patience. I suggest killing them for levels, usign your level goals as encouragement, and hey; you migth get a chain along the way ;) Dust devils are in the smokey well. Refer to tip.it's "desert treasure" quest guide. Do up to the part where you enter the smokey well. You do not need to complete the quest, just up to that part. Good luck.

Infinity is more for flash, ahrims is the way to go for actual use; and a ton cheaper. Mages book isn't awesome stats for the cash, it's one of those flashy accessories that costs a lot and helps a little, but looks cool. If the 5m or so (last time i looked) is a lot of cash to you, don't bother. If you have 5m lying round and don't know what to do with it, buy one. I like mine. Do NOT use god spells against metal dragons, you will lose so much cash for absolutely no reason. I like slayer dart for it.
