  1. Hey, To train my herblore, would it be a good idea to buy defence or strength potions from the Warriors Guild, fish caviar/roe, and then use them on the potions to get good experience?
  2. Hey, My herblore is really bad, and was wondering what the best way to raise it to 38 is? I'm thinking of buying harralander seeds, growing them, then creating energy pots (as chocolate dust is easy to get hold of). This would cost me around 30-40k, and would also get my farming up. Is this a good idea, or is there a better way?
  3. It does. 100% makes black look a weird gray, and all the colours look messed up. And I'm not a cave person, 50% is actually "normal" brightness, which is what the game should look like.
  4. Hey, When you wear the CW brace, and it uses one of the charges, could you then take it off and replace it with some more powerful gloves? Would you still get the bonuses of it if you take it off? Thanks.
  5. The exam, the graphics look really detailed.
  6. What they said :P On any monitor I go on, I can't stand full brightness, It just drives me nuts.
  7. Have you tried talking to Hazelmere on that island? Just a suggestion.
  8. Lmao that's funny Great find =D>
  9. Entirely up too you. Which would you find more beneficial, and most importantly, which cape do you prefer :P
  10. The Piscatoris Fishing Colony is a very good place to burn logs, not too crowded either.
  11. IMO Willows are the best experience.
  12. And you just advanced 1 post count (via spam, the PC of forum posts) You also just advanced 1 post count via spam. Yes, when I was hunting red chincompas, nobody in the German worlds spoke German. But I think it was a good idea, as there are a lot of German Players on those worlds too.
  13. Tinderbox! Never dropped it, I did have my original wooden shield until yesterday, when I dropped it to save bank space :P
  14. Yes, like everyone said, making natures through the abyss is probably the best way of making money. Seriously, you hardly come across any pkers, and if they do attack you, just tele. This guide may help you: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=637671 Also, to get to 44rcing, I just did some quests, which then got me from 30 - 44 rcing without crafting a single rune :P
  15. Dragon Boots are only slightly worse defence than the other boots, so I would choose Dragon Boots for the strength bonus.
  16. While you don't get many updates, F2P have a had a lot of updates this past month or two. On topic: Of course they want to make money, but they are listening to the players now. IMO, from around November 06 - May 07 was the "dark ages", where Jagex did not listen to anyone and the updates were, well quite bad, not to mention the terrible Christmas event.
  17. Imo, if you "no-life" really badly, like don't bother with your friends, family, and do badly in your schoolwork/work because you are thinking about RuneScape, that's my opinion of "nerd". As long as you know that the real world is more important, there is nothing to worry about \
  18. Farming, cockatrices and hill giants are a few ways of getting them. I found cockatrices + a farming patch was the best combination :)
  19. Crafting nature runes using them in the Mage Training Arena Alching Area? I've heard it's one of the best mage xp.
  20. From the official RuneScape Knowledge Base: EDIT: Beat me to it
  21. I got a few annoying nooby goals that i needed to get: 65 fishing and cooking, ranked on everything on the hiscores, completed swan song, got 44 runecrafting, and got 66 hunter. I'm pleased with myself
  22. Me too, and I found orange salamanders much better than the falconry, and less clicking :). Also, at 60, go to normal chinchompas, as you will catch them very quickly.
