There was a Swine Flu outbreak 33 years ago, only killed 1 man, and infact the vaccine caused more damage then the virus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976_swine_flu_outbreak So now c[_] my care cup is empty.
2. [hide=] The former requires us to keep zombies where we can perform studies while they are concious and unsedated, the latter requires testing on a zombie by cutting open it's skull, meaning we will need to keep a very clean work station, as the fluids from it could potentially infect us.... You CANNOT win a war without some intelligence (meaning spying and finding out about the enemy), if the zombies are smart enough to create a base (which they couldn't unless the neocromancer or whatever lives there), we should try to spy on it, if not, we NEED to find out more about the zombies, so a full autopsy would be needed. I forgot to say in my post "while keeping the zombie alive" as a dead zombie would be useless to test the effects of viruses and chemicals on their brains. To find out more about zombies why not just put them in a research area, the old fashion prison cells (metal bars preventing the zombies from escaping while allowing us to easily see them and also test them, as we could keep most things outside the cells and still have the zombies be able to react with it, such as have people standing a few steps away from the cage, and watching how the zombies act while trying to get that person.) True, and it isn't as if we need to show sympathy for them, so Sworddude would be perfect for this task. [/hide] That would be a waste, finding someone who is unable to fight or cannot stand killing would be better suited to the job.

4. For shotguns wouldn't a 20 guage sawn-off be good? Shorter barrel will make it lighter and 20 guage has less recoil, and should still be lethal enough to zombies, correct me if I am wrong though.

In Vista? now Vista has every virus known to man and machine. If people are that worried you could just go buy a gas mask and lots of spare filters, as well as a biohaz suit, just for the looks.

Unless my friend was talking about a different person with the same name, then my friend died in a car accident this morning, I'm really sad about that, she was a really nice person.  I spoke with her husband on the train at around midday today, looking at him he mustn't have found out then (I only found out 5 mins ago looking at my friend's Facebook page) I will miss talking with her, and I hope her baby wasn't in the car.] EDIT: Turns out it was a different person with the exact same name and spelling as my friend, so my friend is still alive.
9. for OldJoe's benefit here it is in a way he should understand. The OP would like to get into video technics (I think he means recording videos, but am not sure) He is wondering who could give some advice on it, and what hardware/software he may need. He would also like some advice on how to begin
10. Dude, if I could I would seriously swap parents with you, only people more stubborn then your parents are people like me. Mine don't really care, but I don't do anything bad or stupid (unless you count parkour.) ---------------- Listening to: Metallica - Leper Messiah
11. I might try this myself, take my unused router to Tafe and plug it in while it sits in my bag, my friends will connect to it the moment it shows on their networks. To do it where would I have to go? I have a D-Link DI-524 router, and I really don't want to hijack this thread, maybe if someone could PM to kep this thread for the OPs questions. ---------------- Listening to: Metallica - Dyers Eve

Hadn't thought of it till now, I doubt it will get big enough though, and it probably won't affect those we want it to. ---------------- Listening to: Metallica - To Live Is to Die

I got really worried this morning when I got up and had to rush to the bathroom so I could vomit in the sink, was really worried as last night I heard that it was in NZ, which means it could be here. After I went back to bed and woke up again I was feeling perfectly fine, so I'm no longer worried, but it gave me a scare. ---------------- Listening to: Metallica - Don't Tread on Me

15. Just remembered, you guys will need to bring weapons/ammo for me, nearly impossible to get any weapons where I live, all we have is a .202 with < 5 ammo, and due to the length of time dad has had the amo, plus water/dirt getting in has caused to to be unrelibale and VERY prone to jamming, even though it is a bolt action single shot rifle. we also have an old blunderbuss (I think it might be a replica, no idea) but that would be useless, no way could I find any gunpowder/flint out here... ---------------- Listening to: Demon Hunter - Coffin Builder
16. I would suggest a small island near a low populated country, Austalia would be likely, as 90% of the population lives in the south-eastern corner, just draw a line between Brisbane and Melbourne which means the rest of it is lowly populated (~2 million) and there are a few islands near it, if anyone knows of a better island, by all means, share. Honestly though, give up on populated areas, not a good idea. Roccodog V2- ---------------- Listening to: Daft Punk - Aerodynamic

Just remembered I have Tafe tomorrow :( Back to Vicki and Rachael (software teachers) yelling at me sounds like they put alcohol in it, which is why I always get my own drink, if someone gets me a drink I just say "no thanks, I don't feel like that" if they offer to get me something else I say I'm not thirsty, then later get a drink when they are elsewhere/distracted and drink all of it quickly ---------------- Listening to: Metallica - The Shortest Straw
18. No problem black Also I finally figured out how to save an image so it is dynamic (thanks to Da Latios, who is too lazy to post on this thread, even though we have been talking about zombie survival recently) EDIT:Ross, you most have posted between when the page loaded and when I clicked on Post Reply, here is yours ---------------- Listening to: Metallica - The Struggle Within
19. You could just set your network to never broadcast it's SSID, meaning you have to know the name of it to connect. ---------------- Listening to: Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists
20. You could always try Firefox portable ;) Afaik that doesn't need administrator access to install and works just as well as the real thing. Yes, it is just limited to the speed of the USB ports :( has a tendency to freeze on USB 1.1 ports :wall: ---------------- Listening to: Dream Theater - The Glass Prison

No, I just ocassionally flail my arm, usually my left sort of like I'm hitting my shoulder then bringing it back down. It's pretty strange tbh :? I was doing that just as I read it. ---------------- Listening to: Daft Punk - Aerodynamic
23. Knotch it's a zombie, not you, plus those are shotgun holes :XD: and Doom, that stuff would cost about $20k Aus, plus shipping  , and getting the guns into here is like trying to get a Hindu to eat a cow, or Muslim to eat pork. ---------------- Listening to: AFI - Miss Murder
