  1. Looks good, great job on the dragon especially. I do sort of agree about the detail though, I think the moon and sky look fine, but the walls of the castle and the rock it's standing on look too 'perfect'.
  2. ^ Nice guess, but not exactly. :P It's a brush called *star*#5 from this pack. Spacing 1, no jitter. Experiment with the other options.
  3. Ok, thanks.
  4. I know, I just put it on for fun, and it's only an experimental thingy anyway. What about the smudging itself though?
  5. Updated. Added V2 of #3 and a weird new one.
  6. Accidently reported this topic because I thought it was advertising... Never mind, I misread the post. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  7. ^ Thanks. :D The second one doesn't have actual text though, but there is a watermark on it so I guess that's what you were referring to?
  8. ^ He posted it on his dA.
  9. I know how you feel. Though in this case, I was first. :P
  10. Apart from the blending issue, the background is too cluttered and has too many different colours that don't work together. Try to pick a certain colour scheme and stick to that. You can find plenty of tutorials on devianART.
  11. The fur itself and the linework looks pretty good, but I'd remove the cartoony black outline. The inside of the ear and the eyes could use some more detail too, I realize you probably weren't going for complete realism but the cartoony features just don't work with the detailed fur IMO. I think the lack of an actual background lets it down too, it shouldn't be terribly difficult to pixel a simple one but it would add a lot to the overall quality of the pixel. Overall though, pretty good.
  12. When coloured and everything that would look make a pretty good mouth IMO. Geokip FTW.

Looks good, I also think it's one of your best pieces so far. The only thing that I'd maybe change is the C4D in the middle, I think it would be nice if you could 'integrate' it into the rest more. Maybe adjust the colours a bit depending on the part it's adjacent to, and/or give it some texture. Anyway, good job.
  14. Yay moar posts. Thank you for the feedback guys, it's appreciated. I'll post a V2 of the third sig soon, and maybe of the first one too. Actually, I may turn this into a gallery.
  15. Not bad at all, you did a good job on the avatar and the glowing text. For now, just keep practising and take a look at even more tutorials (deviantART is a great place for them, and you can find many other resources there too), they really help. Good luck!
  16. Thanks for the comment. :]
  17. Second one looks really good, I like the colours. I don't really like how the yellow smudging just suddenly stops on the left though, a slightly smoother transition would be good IMO.
  18. Thanks. :D EDIT: Registered on PR forums.
  19. 1. V1 V2 2. V1 3. V1 V2 Minor changes. 4. V1 Smudge experiment, just comment on my new settings please. xD C/C, opinions, thoughts?
  20. Lolwut. I just realised my name isn't on it very clearly, there is a watermark on his face though so you know I didn't rip it.

The horror looks isn't really for me either, but good job on the first picture. I'd have to agree about the teeth on the second one, but it isn't bad either.
  22. Looks good. Shame about the chopped off legs/thing on back though, but that's not your fault.
  23. It's alright, the smudging isn't great though like little said. Looks like default settings (which are usually not too good) and I think you used too much of it. The C4Ds on the left side look strange, and I think that is because you set them to overlay. Also, what's up with the sharper looking 'bar' at the bottom?

The style has potential IMO, but I don't think your current style of smudging goes well with it. Needs something more smooth.
