  1. I'm sure the coding is quite impressive and I don't think it really looks bad, but maybe try to work on the graphical side a bit more. Add some things to it to spice it up, not sure what though.
  2. I might give it a go in a few days' time.
  3. It has some potential, I like the colours on the second one. The main problem is the low quality of the fractal though, it looks quite blurry.

The smudge setting look pretty good to me, but try to use some more shades of the same colour like other people said.
  5. I probably won't be on for the coming week or so, so the others can do the requests.
  6. It's already a lot better, but maybe try smudging a background first and then add the C4Ds. Some areas seem to have an unbroken layer of the background colour, which looks quite boring.
  7. I like it, the purple/white smudging works well. Not sure about the clipping mask stripe at the bottom though.
  8. ^ It's actually not bad at all for a first signature, and it's good to see you take C/C well too. Most new signature makers just start cussing because they thought you flamed them when they asked for C/C in the first place. I'm glad you're not like that.
  9. I really love it, great use of C4Ds and the distortion just works. Also, that's pretty amazing for like 10 minutes, I make stuff that is terrible compared to this in about half on hour. D:
  10. It's not bad, but that's because there's hardly anything to it. I can see you tried to make some sort of background using a blurred version of the render, but it's just way, way too simple. You'll want to learn more techniques, like smudging, using stock, C4Ds etc., but first you need to learn the basics. Take a look at some tutorials, there are plenty on http://www.deviantart.com and this is a good guide for smudging too.

Gud, will definitely point some newcomers in the direction of this if they ask for links to good tutorials.
  12. ^ I was going to say that. :(
  13. Har har, not too many people guessed which one was mine. Seems like my cunning plan of using Thru's style of text worked.
  14. The smudging looks quite good, if you were going for a really smooth look that is. I think this stock needs more of a kick with the smudging; more chaoticness. (Organized chaoticness, that is.) Also, try adding some C4Ds and smudge some parts of those with a brush at slightly lowered opacity. And is it just me, or is the stock a bit LQ (yes, I have been lurking at PR Forums lately)?
  15. ^ That nub is right. It's a good start, but it does need more non-distorted C4Diness. Try to get some more light-dark contrast and colours in there too, but I fail at explaining that.
  16. Agreed with the above posters. The pixely black text really does need to go on all of them. Apart from that, blending seems the biggest problem right now.
  17. You're getting better. I quite like it, but the black-ish line around Kirby needs to go. Also, I'd get rid of the wind effect, the background under it looks pretty good so that effect just isn't needed. Try blending the render more too.
  18. It looks ok, but I think it's slightly boring. The background looks too monotone for the render (which I think could do with some more blending) IMO. The tech brushes are a bit distracting too. I think it has potential, but needs some more work on the background mainly.
  19. #1 and 4 look best to me. Not really a fan of the others, the third one for example just seems too boring, grey and slightly blurry.

Search http://www.deviantart.com for something like 'signature tutorial gimp'. There are tonnes of other sites too, I find it hard to believe that you haven't found any good ones yet. :-s Anyway, shouldn't this be in the questions sticky?
  21. :| Not into cars, but I had to do something.
  22. ^ Lolz, easy way out is for nubs. :P Very true in some cases though. Still not a fan of the text and border, and I think you slightly overused the splatter filter. Try erasing some of the splatteriness off his face/body. Pretty good though, some improvement.
