  1. W00t, moar hawt st00phs. Fear my nitpicking skills. #1 (both versions): I like the starry effects, but I think the glowing white blob thing is too big and bright, even though it is the focal point. Really like the right side of the signature and the colours though. #2: Can't fault it, Soa would be proud. #3 (random stuff): I quite like how chaotic this is, but I think the left side (where the C4D just suddenly stops) could do with a little bit of smudging. #4: Yay for black and white. The area to the left of the text lacks contrast though IMO. But great depth. #5: Pretty good, but I think the text doesn't really fit here. Maybe it's the placement, I don't know. #6: Looks alright, definitely not my favourite out of the bunch though. IMO you went overboard with the blocks a bit and the render is a bit blurry, but not bad. #7: Did you pentool the text yourself or is it a font? Either way, pretty cool actually.
  2. ^ Agreed with messy random post. :P Some good shots, I really like #1 and 3 from the older ones and #1 from the new ones. I'd also suggest taking a few photos from further away, you could always crop the picture later. But god job.
  3. 6/10, it looks ok but doesn't really appeal to me.
  4. I agree about the transparency, but other than that the signature looks ok. It's just a bit too busy and monotone for my taste, but the text is definitely a big improvement compared to your previous signatures.
  5. ^ It would probably be a good idea not to request right now, see littleboy's post on this page...
  6. I prefer the first version, but I'm not really a big fan of the signature. The main sprite stands out too much for my liking and in a way the whole signature just seems quite bland. The other, slightly faded sprites are distracting your eyes from what should be the main focal point: the main sprite and the light above him. I'm not sure about the text, I suppose it works, but again it is quite distracting. That being said, I really like the sprites themselves, so I'd also like the link to the sheet. :-#
  7. I really like the concept and the signature looks pretty good too. Quite simple, but it works. I'd get rid of some of the tech circle/border brushes though, especially those circles are a bit overpowering at the moment.

Not sure about the first one TBH... It's not bad, but I just think the render doesn't go well with the background, even though you blended it in very well. The background has more of a subtle look, while the render has more contrast and sharper, cleaner lines. I really like the text and border though. :-# The second one is okay, but I think the blue is a bit too light to be ocean water. Maybe make it a bit darker around the edges. Text stands out quite a lot here, but that doesn't really bother me.

I love the render, link plawks (or did you make it yourself?)? Overall, it's not a bad signature, but I dislike how there's such a big contrast between the render and the background on the right.
  10. I really like both of them, but the clouds seem a bit oversharpened on the processed version.
  11. I could draw the text if both of you don't mind. :-#
  12. Love the new sprite. One little suggestion though, make the text a clipping mask.
  13. Yes, the blur seems to be the main problem... The drawings do need a lot of work, but I think they have some potential.
  14. 1. Gold_Tiger10 2. ThruItAll 3. yaff2 4. runemetsa 5. Soa
  15. V3 looks a lot better. It's still a bit chaotic though, but I think that works pretty well here. Might want to erase some C4Ds/effects off his body though.
  16. I suppose the first one looks ok, but the effects are pretty simple and there just isn't much to the signature.
  17. Chaotic signature is chaotic. I really like the colours though, but I think it could do with some darker shades in there too. Bit washed out. The tutorial is pretty nice for beginners and nubs like me, now I finally get how to do a clipping mask.
  18. ^ Paint.NET and Microsoft Paint really are quite different programs... Unless I'm misunderstanding your post.
  19. I'm pretty sure X11 came pre-installed with mah MacBook though, but I don't know. And yeah, I suppose you could, never tried though.
  20. Really like it so far, looks great. I agree about the meow having to go, but other than that, no real C/C.
  21. ^ I sort of agree. I mean, nice for you you got Photoshop and enjoy messing around with it, but this is just some filter-piled, effortless... stuff, and certainly not work that we can give helpful comments on. Besides, isn't there some rule here that whatever you post must be at least 50% your own work? This certainly isn't. The only thing I can really say is Google some tutorials to get to grips with the PS interface.
  22. Looks quite good, but I'd make it a bit less... stripe-y. Other than that, I like it.
  23. Thanks, I'd be happy to. I quite enjoy drawing text actually.
  24. ^ X11 you mean? Runs really smoothly for me.
  25. Love the background, the character looks pretty good too. I think the text is a bit too big though, something subtle would work better. Same with the border really, too chunky and distracting IMO. Though overall, you did a great job.
