  1. ^ I'm pretty sure it is. Agreed with Rainy here, it would look a lot better without the text and border IMO. Also, I think the main image is just to chaotic, get rid of some of the brushes I'd say.
  2. I agree with the previous posters, the signature is really blurry, lacks blending and the text isn't good. The background could use some work too, it's pretty boring and the colours don't suit those of the render. http://www.deviantart.com is a good site for tutorials.
  3. ^ Bootcamp? There are plenty of other applications that allow you to use Windows (programs or the whole system) on your Mac, too. Just Google. Anyway, the game looks like it's coming along nicely. Great job.
  4. They're alright, but pretty boring and simple. Some parts lack shading, and the black outlines don't really help with that either. They're not terrible for your first two pixels, but there's plenty to improve on. Take a look at some pixel art tutorials, which can be found here.
  5. Looks good, but I like the blending and colours in Rainy's version better... :-? Still, pryo's version is nice too, the only thing I'd remove is the line separating the names. A bit distracting and disrupts the flow IMO.
  6. Seen you a few times, 5/10.

Already said congratulations but I'll say it again, great job.
  8. You could just write your name on a copy of the signature and post that. Make sure you still have the original (without your name scribbled all over it) on your computer for personal use, though.
  9. A name, logo or image placed on top of your work at lowered opacity to prevent people from stealing your artwork and claiming it as their own.
  10. :P Thanks. I might actually make a tutorial for one of my signatures soon, but I'm not promising anything.
  11. I prefer V2, the colours of the other ones seem too washed out. Overall, it's not terrible, but it lacks flow and the effects look like they were just randomly put in there without much thought gone into it. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what it looks like to me. Also, the contrast between the darkness of the sprite and the lightness of the background doesn't really appeal to me.
  12. Some good improvement. The problem with most of these seems to be the render though, most are quite small and some detail is lost because of that. I'll edit this when I can think of some more C/C, there's something else but I can't really put my finger on what it is (yet). Overall, not bad.
  13. Looks pretty cool. Not as funny as some of the other ones you posted a while ago, but still good.
  14. Zomg I love it TBH. The mix of colours and B&W works really well and the text is pretty good too. I prefer V2, the border on the first one just seems too distracting. Great job.
  15. First one = saved as a jpg... NEVER do that in Paint, especially not with pixel art. Apart from that, the shading looks pretty sloppy in some parts, like the sky. Same with the monster (whatever it is, I don't play RS), it lacks proper shading, making it look flat. But since it's your first signature, I'll focus on commenting on the second one. Second sig: Big improvement, but again, it lacks shading in some parts. It looks quite cartoony because of that and the black outlines, and maybe that's what you were going for, but I just don't really like that style. The text isn't great (apart from the "Insane 212" part, that was auto-antialiased and looks better - but you'll probably all the text to look the same in terms of font), it looks quite messy and the font isn't great. The anatomy of the guy in dragon armour seems off too, his legs are incredibly short compared to the rest of his body. And again, the signature could use a border. Overall, you didn't do a bad job, but there are some things to improve on. Try looking at a few pixel tutorials (there are links to some good ones in the resources sticky here in The Gallery), and keep practising. Ugh, Nadril beat me to most of the stuff.
  16. Not great. The black is quite distracting and doesn't really look good, same with the little texts. The render could use some blending too, it stands out too much. The background is quite boring and lacks flow and colour, and the signature could use a border. Overall, there is currently still lots to improve on, but if you keep practising and read some tutorials (try http://www.deviantart.com, just search for 'signature tutorial' or something like that) you will get better.
  17. This r cool. I'll edit this post when I have a part of the sig I'd like to collaborate on done. EDIT: This is what I have so far: Looking for about 1/2 other person(s) to work on this, only conditions are that you must use Gimp or Photoshop and you must have decent experience. Let me know if you're interested and I'll PM you the link to the .psd. First come first served. :P
  18. ^ Sounds like the Windows XP default desktop. :P PenguinScape - This doesn't really need explaining.
  19. I prefer V1, but the text on V3 is the best choice IMO. Anyway, nice job, I really like it.
  20. Looks pretty nice, but I think the style is a bit too chaotic. I'd get rid of some of the brushes/effects, they're a bit distracting and don't really help the flow. But good job on trying something new.
  21. Looks pretty good so far, but unless you're going for a really cartoony style the dragon could use some more shading and details. The stars look rather sketchy too, but it's a good start.
  22. Really simple TBH. Quite dark too, the colours aren't good. Not sure what else to say, the signature just doesn't appeal to me. Keep reading tutorials and keep practising, and I'm sure you'll improve.
  23. Sprite sig maybe?
  24. Pretty great.
  25. Not bad, not bad at all. :D Just some little things that need fixing up though, I'll do a little edit soon if you don't mind.
