First finished PIXEL in a long time.
Well, I finally got around to finishing an old sig. Here's my progress. Here's what I've got so far. ORIGINAL SIG BEFORE WORK WAS STARTED. WORK DONE SO FAR. THE TWO TOGETHER. UPDATE 1: I've extended the path and created a cliff. Also notice the small beach and lake. UPDATE 2: Extended water and I'm starting to develop a sort of inlet cove type of thing. I'm having GREAT difficulty trying to figure out how the cave will merge with the side of the mountain. I just can't get it right. Also, the arch of the cave looks strange...it's kind of an optical illusion. The right side of the cave actually just out and is 'closer' to us. The arch goes from this point, seemingling 'backwards' and then rejoining with the other side. I can't explain it really. UPDATE 3: With some help from y0ur_m0ther, I was able to figure out the cave problem. I've also extended down the mountain and I'll be adding some outcropping and a forest. I'll finish the sky obviously. I think part of the forest is supposed to be in fire, too. THE WHOLE SCENE SO FAR: UPDATE 4: I've added a natural bridge which extends from the castle fortress to the island across the ocean inlet. I'll be adding trees to the light green area to the left of the pathway. UPDATE 5: Well, I asked Godslayer what I should add to the background because it was really looking...bleh and empty. He suggested a path that led down the hill to a small peasant village which was being ambushed, burned, and pillaged by an attacking army. So I've added a path and extended it around the hill to join up with the other path...otherwise goods would not be able to reach the market \ . So I'll be working on the village. FINISHED!! I added in a small village...even though most of it is covered up, it still takes up empty space. I textured the rest of the hill, fixed the sky, added some birds, added a PKer skull, and finally added a simple, but effective border. I hope you all like it :) It was a challenge, especially since all of my backgrounds on my older sigs are, plain and simply put, terrible. I really had to delve into my imagination to come up with this and while I am still not satisfied with the characters, I like the background and, well, you guys will just have to deal with it :notalk: :P Enjoy!

Help with snow texture :)
Well the snow in the foreground looks just fine to me. The snow in the far far background looks just fine. However, it's the middle snow that bothers me a bit. I think the reason is because both the far back and the foreground mountains/buttes/plateaus all have lighting form the sun. The middle one does not, thus it lacks the red tones that is seen in the others. It is the contrast which really helps to bring out the snow. Right now it looks grey and flat, but I think if you can adjust the sun just abit, you may be able to get just enough lighting to yield what you want, but still keep it basically lit the same way. Looks nice, but I am really liking the idea of the four seasons \ :3>

A lesson in risk-taking
Well at least you can laugh about it and you aren't quitting like most people do when they have a traumatic death.

Noodles. Well, alright, a WIP Pixel. FINISHED?
I saw your first one with the black outlines and I thought, "Wow, DH is really slacking..." Then I saw the update with colored outlines and texturing/shading and my jaw dropped. For starters, the perspective is incredible. So different and it makes the room and the entire sig feel HUGE. Secondly, the walls in corrrelation with the torches are perfect. Just...perfect. Texturing on the ground is beautiful as well. Looks great \

Aye, tis lumbridge indeed XD Everyone gets a cookie!
Most recent appears to be outside of the White Knight Castle in Falador. Looks great :) EDIT: I take that back. I think I'm going to agree with the others and say it is Lumbridge Castle. I didn't notice the vegetation in the courtyard.

The Nano Sculpture Gallery
They look nice ;) Do you use Sculpy Clay? I don't know if you do already, but buy some wire and make the form of the model first, then when you fire it and stuff, it will keep its form much better and it will be stronger. Keep working :)

-= Unusual RS Theme =-
Yep, just listened to it and it DEFINITELY is an update in their MIDI sounds. Sounds nice \

Yeah, I'm not getting anything either. I'm going to bed soon, however, so I'll listening to them in the morning.

It's entirely possible that JaGeX has updated their MIDI sounds. I compose music on my computer and had an older version of Finale Notepad (music composition software). It was old, and there was a newer version, so I downloaded it, and all of the instruments had been updated and sounded much more realistic. I think this may have been what happened. I'll listen to the recordings, though, and see if my theory is correct

::Of A Death Foretold:: [WIP]
Looks awesome so far. I think the lady's chin is a bit too narrow. I guess make the angle that the cheeks come down less steep. I love the hair on them both. Can't wait to see this finished ;)

money,money,money,money,money,
4mil from a sig I sold when it was still legal. However, 5 minutes after I was paid, I bought a friend full Ahrims to suprise her...wasn't her birthday, just bought it for her. And then with the remaining 1.4mil I bought like 15 glory ammies and dropped them all for the people I was chopping magics with. That was a blast.

POH Glitches. Tons of fun
Haha, I've gotten booted out of a combat ring like that before. However, it was on the second floor and the guy didn't have a building where I was booted, so I was stuck in a black space and I couldn't move. Fortunately, Jagex made it so that when you log out, you log back in outside of the portal. I didn't have any tele capabilities ^_^

POH Designer for Everyone **Revamped**
Very cool! User friendly, visually appealing, and it sure will prove to be helpful! This should definitely be added to Tip.it's main site Construction Guide.

Goofy Animation I made
Well, I was chatting with Godslayer for about two hours on Yahoo...just random stuff about how he is so much better at digital art than I am, and i decided to make some little goofy characters, no more than about 4 or 5 pixels tall. I wanted to see if I could animate them. So far, only the black guy is animated. I'll do something with the red guy soon. /goofy :P

Wow! SIX MONTHS of Kingdom Results. 12.3 Mill gp spent
O.o And to think that I've been spending the past three days at the teak trees in the Jungle south of Shilo and amassing only 1,300 logs. :( I don't know how this works. Could you explain what quest this is and how the whole servants things works. Or perhaps there is already a guide? I'd LOVE all of those birdnests...not necessarily for the tree seeds, although those would be AMAZING farming experience, but instead for the actualy nests for Saradomin Brews.
