  1. Oh! What a fabulous idea!! =D> =D> How about under the Eiffel Tower? Brandenburg Gate? Stonehenge!! Atop a glacier? Ayers Rock in the Australian Outback? Space Needle?
  2. Ahh! I'd love to. Sounds fun  I'll probably only end up with a smal one though...100x100. I don't want to do some huge sig. It would take forever since I'm so slow at everything. Not to mention that finals start next week. *dies* :boohoo:
  3. Update: Ambient lighting is tough. Working on it...
  4. No idea...I'm wondering if I'll ever finish this myself. :wall:
  5. So, I'm making this pixel sig, and I wanted to do something that, for the most part, I have never seen done before. It stuck me that it would be cool to try and create a pixel scene that wasn't...for lack of a better term...flat. Anyhow, my idea was to create a sig with multiple perspectives. Consider it a comic book, but instead of each frame progressing, they all show the same scene, just from different camera angles, capturing different scenes. The sig should be much more dynamic and the action will appear to be more. The overall scene is a small party of men marching across a landbridge to a secret, mountain temple, which is guarded by shadowy spirits. Halfway across the bridge is a psuedo-Balrog/dragon/demon beast. One of the men in the party is fighting off a spirit, and another is falling off of the bridge, carrying a bag with a crystal that they need to access the temple...another character is holding onto his arm to save him. I'll post updates as I work. November 24, 2006-Decided to extend the sig even more and add two large bottom frames. December 11, 2006-I have begun work on the scene inside of the cave. This scene is showing a menacing looking mage (or any random cloaked figure) seeking a powerful crystal. This is essentially what the band of travelers on the bridge were seeking.
  6. Wow, am I glad I came back to visit or what? The most recent update is spectacular. I love your interpretation of the smoke spell. I try and put my own twists on things from Runescape, and I'm glad to see that you're doing it, too. I get tired of seeing the same old things in pixel sigs. =D> Bravo.
  7. Looks nice  No this sig was not ripped. YM made it...it's just a popular sort of sig. Kind of like the "full dragon whip anchients pker" or "me surrounded by riches." Looking good, dude. : =D>
  8. For the record, Godslayer has done all of this...I made the character and a preliminary sig, but we both decided to change the layout and he edited my character. So don't give me any credit. I'm kind of his motivation to finish.
  9. um... wow sig selling has been illegal for a long time now.... Ya it's illegal but people still do it. Like on runescape village I think... They still sell and buy them. :shame: No, not on Runevillage...others, yes. On topic, though, yes, those were done in Macromedia Flash. Very simple to make, but fun. I would love to make a few and animate them.

Haha, very nice job...crafting paper...ehh...but very fluid animation and I loved the dye. Nice job ;) It's nice to see animated fakes once in a while; most are just static pictures.
  11. I'm going to assume that you are a member and your account is set to auto-pay. If you are, what I did was cancelled my membership and played the remainging days. Then, when it was finished, I logged out in a f2p area. This was only because I enjoy logging online to chat with friends or to attend events, but if you really want to quit, cancel members, and the very last day, put your character in a members area so that there is no way you can log back on without re-subscribing. I think you'll do just fine this year. When in doubt, just finish your homework as fast as you can, then you can spend the rest of your night, whether it be 4 hours until bedtime or 4 minutes... Good luck with school. I started the International Baccalaureate Programme this year, so I need to be extra focused. I visit the forums every now and then to post a bit or browse around. :
  12. I wanna say that Galkon made that. I'm 90% sure...someone check on that for me? :-k
  13. Unfortunately, I fear that the price of magic logs will drop too. :ohnoes: :(
  14. I'm a giver...I haven't really received too many items. I'll try and remembenr some and post them later this afternoon, though.
  15. What sort of funding does woodcut require? I'm level 87 and the only funding I've spent was for a rune hatchet. :uhh: :-k
  16. could i hav something... i just bought full rune... and i'm just lvling up my skills and stats, so i'm not really making money at the moment... if u even gave me 500k ( u give away 1mill, i think giving half that would be easy for u... ) that would be great ( i'm not begging, just asking if i could hav som money... )!!!!!! : Most of those mils I gave away were from money made from pixel sig competitions...only a few were from chopping magic logs recently.
  17. The following were all given to people whom I have never met before aside from the 2.5mil. -1mil -1mil to three different people on one occasion -2.5mil to a friend*** -2.5mil to some guy outside of Varrock Bank -1.5mil -1.5mil -2mil -Other items...lots of glories and some dragon weapons. ---------- Gosh...I can't even remember if that's them all. Reason: I have no reason. Was I quitting? No, not at all. I just enjoy giving away the money that I make. For those who wonder...all that money I made from selling pixel sigs...gave it away within 10 minutes of receiving it.
  18. I have a 2gig Memory Stick...I'll try running it and I'll get back to you on that.
  19. Hey Jackster! Finally decided to register for Tip It...I knew you would give in eventually. Pixels are looking great. The one you use on Runevillage will never be topped, though. \ Can I make you a sig?
  20. Good luck, however giving out 30M isn't gonna show them it's just a game, now would it? :shame: And you can't show me, since I KNOW it's a lot more than just a game. :notalk: I guess what I meant was that when I give away money, I encourage people to do the same in the future...whether it be taking time to help out a lower level, or to give someone a few supplies to gain a near-level. Of course, I never find out if they actually do "Pay it forward," but I have seen some people respond very positively to what I have to say when I respond to their saying "00MgG d00d!! WhYd j00 g1v3 me 2mil?!!?" I had my first drop party yesterday when I reached 90 crafting -- only 4 friends could make it and I reveled in dropping/giving about 1 mill in items. Jabraulter, though some may find your ideas lunacy, I am impressed and somewhat inspired... Personally, I think a major goal would be to be able to give away every last item I've worked so hard for for so long and still be as enthusiastic about it as the first day I grew to love this game. If I could reach that lofty ambition, I wouldn't beat the game for sure, but neither would have RuneScape beaten me. :) :D :-w  At least one person doesn't think I'm crazy  You don't have to be a high level either...in fact, that's kind of what inspired me. I'm only level 85. I just work hard for the benefit of others. The best part of it is right after you give it away...I find it a rush like no other. They're always so greatful and usually dumbfounded at the same time. Then, I explain to them why I gave it to them. Don't look at this as me saying, "Go now, hand out free stuff..." It's more me encouraging you all to not always put yourself ahead of others. Take time to help others out when you get the opportunity.

  22. My goal is to give away at leat 30,000,000 gp. Currently, I have given away around 15,000,000 gp...any money I make, or any drops I get (herbs and the like), I sell and give the money away. Please don't ask for money...I usually just give it away to random people, especially those who aren't rude and crude. Maybe you'll be lucky, and someday I will stumble across you without knowing it. The goal, really, is to teach people that it's just a game and that money or items aren't what are important. Instead, people should enjoy the challenge of the game, and enjoy talking with people from across the globe. People take this game to seriously, so by giving them money and encouraging them to help others in the future, perhaps Runescape will gain just a few more people who aren't pompous jerks. That's my goal.
  23. I completely agree. I really should had just kept it a full background sig, but oh well. As far as the contrast goes, I do have a great lack of knowledge when it comes to contrast, but also, the background was added months later, so I think that came into play a bit. And wow, thanks for the nice feedback. I wasn't expecting two pages when I left...but now that I'm back from band camp (woohoo, yay band) I was pleasantly suprised. Thanks guys and gals.
