Munpies first pixel sig
Wow, I must say, for your first, you are VERY much ahead of a lot of people. The fact that you took it upon yourself to actually shade on your first try is beyond me. And on top of that, the shading ISN'T half bad. It's actually a very cool sig. Despite braking the forum rules :D and posting your first sig, I applaud you. It looks great. Keep working! You have a LOT of potential.

*Sigh*....Sad story...
That is SO sad  Bellz, if you are religious, think of it as he is in a better place. If not, don't feel bad if you are upset or even cry. I was at a camp when my grandfather passed and I cried my eyes out in front of people when I found out.He had had a brain tumor for about a year, so it wasn't really unexpected. But it was still sad. Just be there for the rest of your family. Together you can support eachother.

5 Ways to Entertain Yourself During Class
Haha, we play the "Standing Game." How it works: Just...stand. During class. See who can stand the longest. One of my good friends stood the entire class period (53 minutes). The teacher told him to sit down and he said he injured his tailbone and it hurt to sit. After this comment, he turned around and stood the rest of the class period (30 minutes) BACKWARDS. I usually doodle in my notebook or play graphing calculator games.

who will win the superbowl
Here we go. Every Seahawks fan is going to be complaining and blaming the loss on "bad calls." Hell, only one controversial call was made, and it was most definately the right one. Roethlisberger was in the end zone, period. Might have been by inches, maybe even centimeters, but he was in. The only other even remotely "bad call" in the game would have been keeping Hasselbeck's drop as a fumble, but that was correctly reversed. So really, Seahawks fans have nothing to complain about with the officials. Looks like my spread held up. ;D Well you're going to get complaining regarless the sport...it's always the refs fault ;)

Favorite Superbowl COMMERCIALS!!!
Well, not only is the Superbowl good for great plays and nail-biting action, but the commercials are what draw me to watch every year. Usually the best commercials come at the beginning...big bucks for big spots. Nonetheless, it is time to share your favorite commercials. ------- The catagories will be: Humor: "Good" commercials (you know what I mean): Amazing commercials (cinematography, effects, etc.): ------- You don't have to fill each catagory. Just share which ones were your favorite :P ------- My favorites: >>>Budweiser. The commercial opens with two teams of horses lined up like a football team. A group of animals ranging from bison to sheep to duck to deer observe from the side. The horse on the field places his hoof on the ball as to hike it. The camera shows a shot of two sheep on the sideline and suddenly, another sheep runs in between the two and onto the field. The sheep is completely shaved and looks naked. Upon entering the field, it begins to shake his rear while the animals on the sideline laugh. I wasn't able to catch what the two cowboys watching said, but the commercial was hilarious anyway. >>>Budweiser. Two big Clydesdale horses and a tiny colt stand in a barn looking at the Budweiser carriage. The small colt is hooked up to the carriage and is trying with all his strength to pull the wagon. Suddenly the wheels begin to turn ever so slightly and the wagon slowly starts to pull out of the barn. The colt appears to be pulling it all by himself, but when the camera shows a side view, you see the two larger horses nudging the wagon along with their heads. This was just a "good" commercial. >>>American Mortgage (?). The commercial opens with two doctors standing over a patient lying asleep on a hospital bed. They are talking and a fly is flying around the room. One doctor appear very agitated. The camera cuts scenes and shows a woman and younger child (the ones coming to visit the man in the hospital bed) in an elevator. The scene cuts back to the hospital room and the agitated doctor takes some heart defibrillators and zaps the fly with it. The fly falls onto the chest of the sleeping patient. Suddenly, the woman and child walk into the room, just as one doctor says to the other "Now he's dead!" The commercial ends by saying "Don't jump to conclusions." Or something like that. Very funny. ------- Now it's your turn!

Your Theory of Creation - Life, The Universe & Everythin
It doesn't really matter what theory someone picks because it will eventaully cross with another. For example: Okay, so the Big Bang happened... That one tiny particle condensed and then exploded in a firey mess. Okay...grand. Now tell me where that first particle came from. Certainly not from my back pocket or the frozen food aisle at your local grocer. ------ Blah, whatever.

Your Personal Favourite Instrumental's
Inferno or The Odyssey by Symphony X http://www.symphonyx.com/media/inferno_(unleash_the_fire).mp3 I don't like the lyrics, but the instrumental work is amazing. ----------- And pretty much anything by Yngwie Malmsteen.

who will win the superbowl
Steelers. Yea, so they beat 'my' Colts, but I still want them to win. They had a phenomenal season and playoff run.

Anyone else heard of Project Offset?
That is AMAZING!!!!  You need to change your thread title and post some screenshots or pics from the site so that people know what you're talking about. No one knows what it is so I'm sure not many people have visited the site. Incredible. Truly incredible.

Bring Back Bruce
All of the janitors at my school are SOO nice. There is one in particular who everyone loves, and i wouldn't be suprised if something like this happened at my school. Being a private school of roughly 1300 students, we're all pretty close to the staff.

Wow! This is impressive! Conversation with a robot!

Price of the Tuna Potato (1 bite - 22hp)
Well you do receive experience for the butter, potato, sweetcorn, tuna, and then putting the whole shabang together. So I would imaging the total experience would be pretty decent.

New Style, New Look, New Pixel. C/c Please.['complete']
I LOVE the pose of the guy on the left. It's awesome how he is struggling against the ice. Very cool. Looking nice. Just make sure you don't ahve shark edges by limbs. In some spots it looks like just some straight lines where they should be gently curved.

firs try at dithering
Godslayer, Terley, and Random are the people to ask about dithering. However, nice job with your first. You definitely don't need the black lines...but that's already been mentioned. It looks like you used a bit of the 'pillow-dithering' shading method. It's just like regular pixel pillow-shading, which is a big no-no, but you dithered. It still looks alright, but it may have turned out better if the dithering were only to one side, and then a slight shadow from the other direction [like backlighting, but backshadowing]. Not bad. Keep on working ;)

Maya 3D Items!
In your hypershade for the coins, make sure the box for raytracing is checked. This will give you reflections. Now, in the render globals window (where you changed it to production quality) click raytracing there too. Now when you render, the coins will have a lustre to them and reflect the party hat.

Maya 3D Items!
yea im kinda new to maya. I have problems with the texturing. Im gonna go read some tutorials to get better :) Great. They really help to familiarize yo uwith the tools and how to use them. That's what I did. Now, I'm no Pixar employee, but with practice, I'm sure I could improve ;) Buy a book. Maya (# of version you have) Fundamentals. That's what I have. It came with a CD and you can watch tutorials on there. Very cool and very easy to follow.
