Dragon Full Helm - now a PVP drop (confirmed)
So you make up your own figure of speech, and then criticize someone else's intelligence for not knowing your made up figure of speech? Alright, I guess.

I'm pretty sure that's not true...

Ranging in PVP using the wilderness ditch
Oh noes! The intent of the mini mountain in the wild north of edge was to charge orbs at the air obelisk! Not so rangers and mages could be safe from meleers! MUST BE FLATTENED NOW! They DO NOT care if it goes against their intentions unless it is game changing, or enough people complain/whine/moan about it.

Ranging in PVP using the wilderness ditch
Invunerable to melee, that's a joke...if you hit them as they cross the ditch the hit will show up once they land on the other side. As for not being able to range over rock climb spots, yeah you can...and through the GE - I was using that as an example of how melee has its own little spot they can use (Melee player sits at one side of the shortcut, waits for someone to go through it from the other side and then they can hit 2 free hits on the player before they have a chance to do anything, and with 2 dds specs thats 4 hits effectively). Also, who gives a crap if the other examples I listed have requirements to use...if they were to add a 5 agility requirement to cross the wilderness ditch then all you people proclaiming it's a bug would shut up and say it's all of a sudden fine because it now has a requirement? Finally, unless it's a game changing bug or a glitch of some sort that enough people get annoyed with, chances are they won't "fix" it, and it's neither.

Ranging in PVP using the wilderness ditch
If they get rid of this, they have to get rid of the shortcut to the Grand Exchange, any rock climb spots (trollheim is full of them), the leaf traps in Lletya, any log crosses over water, the agility cross to get to the wilderness agility course, etc. "But it doesn't serve it's purpose anymore so it should be removed" - If JaGex went around removing everything in this game that no longer serves its purpose, the game would change drastically and truth be told they aren't going to bother wasting their time. Summary - it's not a bug and it's not going to change, and now for some words of wisdom from our good friend Arnold...STOP WHINING!

The War Economy- a look at how the PVP Worlds affect us.
I'd say if you honestly believe people talk like "wtf?" in real life, that's pathetic. As far as writing about runescape for college work, I'd do it...if you are very familiar with something it makes writing an essay on it a thousand times easier, and probably more enjoyable. But of course writing about the economic issues in some foreign country nobody's ever heard of, and frankly nobody that's going to read it cares about, is less pathetic. Anywho, I enjoyed it, it's always interesting to get a point of view from someone with a different perspective. P.S. - If the crowds start to come back to regular worlds, just hop on to a pvp world and most of the skilling spots are completely empty, especially later at night (U.S. time)...as of right now there are 6 worlds with under 60 players and another with only 74...and I can guarantee most of those are in or near a bank.

Skill Xp - In One Day ?!?!
To add on to Soma's examples, it was theoretically possible to get 50m+ xp in a day for magic when trading was allowed in the Alchemist Playground.

October 15th 2008 - PVP Worlds + Game Log In Improvements
I posted this in the Hidden Updates sticky (as it was a hidden update) but I feel it's worth posting here as well... My main concern behind this is that this was not a bug in the programming, in fact things were working exactly the way they programmed them to - unfortunately that was the programming for the old wilderness and they completely overlooked it when doing this. Another concern is that had they decided to make the wild start immediately after the ditch and then simply made it so that you cannot attack over the ditch, it would not have been adjusted this quickly, and those who happened upon it at the only location where it goes from wild to nonwild without a ditch would have had a field day with exploiting it. Yes it was a huge update with countless places for potential flaws, but this was a result of not consulting the ones who designed the old wilderness versus diving into unknown waters. I guess I'm a little frustrated too since it reminded me of my beloved Zilyana safe spot, and I try not to think about that anymore. :P

Cash Rewards For Pvp Worlds
Great_one, I did the math, and it would take over 2.5 hours just waiting for the time to come so you could get another cash drop. I support! How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?

Tip on brawling gloves....
The limit is how long you spend gaining xp in the respective skill, it says nothing about a limit as to how much xp you can gain in that time.

LSP Explained - Craven Range
You forgot to mention the gaping flaw with lootshare in that it only works the way it's suppose to if you NEVER switch teams.

Another point I will make is that you don't need to be maxed to know that the Grand Exchange is extremely flawed, LootShare is extremely flawed, CoinShare is extremely flawed, the way Summoning familiars fight is extremely flawed, etc. Most of the problems with/in RuneScape have nothing to do with skills at all. Edit: I guess you could substitute in the word "obviously" in place of "extremely" since some of the flawws aren't very major and wouldn't take much to fix but they are painfully obvious.

The one thing you would add/improve on in Runescape
Grand Exchange, Lootshare, Coinshare, and the way Summoning familiars work in combat. All of those need fixing.

"You attack first! No you attack first!"
I challenge you to find me a viable, effective p2p pure that doesn't have at the very least 44 or 52 prayer. Go on, do it. I hate this "but the pures don't have prayer" argument, it's [developmentally delayed] and false. 13 prayer is statistically the best prayer for melee pures with 1 defense (all the way up until 99 strength)...It's amazing how few people know that. If you want a name, X Arikado X.

Right, because it was maxed players who discovered the best methods of training for every single skill, maxed players discovered the best method of killing every boss, all maxed players did every quest without using a guide, maxed players are more knowledgeable when it comes to dungeons, islands, various areas, etc. I'm sorry but if you honestly think that having maxed stats means you automatically know more about the game than one who doesn't have maxed stats then it's pointless to continue any sort of conversation with you. Edit: As far as "we don't know what to do after we're maxed since we've never been in that situation", I beg to differ - Getting all skills to 99 is a goal that a player sets and they work to achieve that goal, thus it's conceptually the same as someone setting an "ultimate" goal of maxing all combat skills and once they have that, they have no more goals in the game.

Yes, actually. No, actually, you don't automatically have a greater knowledge of the game once you're maxed. Keyword being automatically in case you missed it the original post, and my response.

"You attack first! No you attack first!"
Perhaps you just don't know how to use prayer in a skillful manner while fighting another player, perhaps you are too unimaginative to incorporate prayers into your tactics. I for one loved using protect prayers in 1 on 1 fights if the other person was only using a single combat style to attack with. Let's say my opponent was using melee, I'd pray melee (they'd proceed to drop names to make themselves feel good) then they would either leave or start praying themselves - I loved it when they prayed themselves because that's when my tactics would kick in...simply switch between range and melee attacks, it would be a distraction for them to have to keep guessing which prayer to use while I would sit back and not really have to worry about getting koed. Sure, there are some pkers who just turn on prayers because they think that since they have it they can use it (and in the 'turn it on till it's out then run' kind of way), and I completely understand any annoyances with those players - but there are also those like myself, who incorporate prayer tactfully. So please, stop generalizing. Oh, and to clear any confusion non-pkers are having (as apparent in many posts on this thread), the objective while pking is to kill your opponent, NOT to keep yourself alive. So pretty much anyone willing to fight with protect prayers on and doesn't have multiple combat styles to attack with (or veracs) is not focused on killing their opponent, and is not a good pker - in fact they're just a nuisance and resource waster.

wut da eff leetness right hurr.
I don't know the name of a 70 range 10 hp pure off hand (but trust me there are numerous ones because it's so easy) but I do have a friend with a 47 range 63 mage 10 hp 1 def 1 pray pure named Gilded Crown

There have been a number of 70 range 1 pray 10 hp pures.

[hide=quotes] Dumb post. If you get a 99 skill it does show you've played a long time therefore you are hopefully familiar with that skill. You've also hung around other people training it and heard thier thoughts on the skill. Who's better at coming up with a good idea for a skill? A new player who knows nothing about the game or someone who has played since it started? Obviously not the latter -.- [/hide] Why would anyone get over 85 Farming, 92 Firemaking, 90 Slayer, 95 Fletching, 90 Crafting, or 85 Heblore? The only people that would get above those levels are those who either want a higher skill total for the sake of having a higher skill total, want the respective skillcapes, or are simply stupid and think that "lol 99 crafting is better than 90 duh". Because those with maxed skills have 99 in those above mentioned (obviously), it tells us that they simply have a lot of free time on their hands - and I'm not saying that's good or bad, I'm just pointing out that the only thing it tells us for sure is that they've played a long time. It does NOT tell us that they are familiar with the skill, it does NOT tell us that they have hung around other people training it and heard their thoughts on the skill. As for your example, I don't know why you even said it considering nobody has suggested that a new player would be better at coming up with a good idea for a skill than someone who's played since it started. For the record, I couldn't care less about having access to the forum, I'd just like to think that they've put at least some sort of thought into their criteria instead of "oh this is the easiest way to do it"

I know off the top of my head several players who know the game better than anyone with maxed skills. Having 99s in every skill does not mean anything more than you have played for a long time and know how to click a mouse. Literally anyone can get 99 in any skill provided they are given enough time, it does not take any smarts whatsoever. One *could* make an argument for completing all quests, given that a lot of quests do take some critical thinking skills and/or problem solving skills to finish, but also given that there is a guide for every quest - that argument can be easily shot down. JaGex never fails to let ignorance get in the way.

Will kebab be used when PKing in F2P?Conclusion P.5!
So far most of you have been saying that kebabs aren't a wise choice of food for f2p pking, but have you ever stopped to think about the lower level pkers who only have like 15-30 hp and don't need lobs/swords for healing? I'd say that compared to trout, tuna, or salmon these would be a better option because of the fact that they are sold in a store for 1gp each. Ironically you're probably the same people that would say sharks are a better choice of food at the corporeal beast than pineapple pizzas.

Jagex is Going to Kill Bounty Hunter.
The greatest predictor of future actions is past behaviors. Seeing as how JaGex has made many decisions very similar to the one in question, that's proof enough they will make another decision just like it...whether or not this is going to be it, we'll have to see.

Is ore running viable now? (or any running for that matter)
Nobody in their right mind would bank stuff for you for 40k an hour, considering there are plenty of people who are willing to just give away the iron ore because all they want is the xp. And to those saying "why would they do that when they could just get mining up a bit and mine it themselves?", probably because they don't care about mining and just want something to do for some cash, and as far as they are concerned getting traded a full load of iron in a few seconds is better than spending several minutes mining it.
