  1. My biggest beef with RSOF is the forum mods...simply put, they absolutely suck. If they decide they don't like you or disagree with you, they find a reason to lock your thread. If they decide they like you, they'll keep your thread open at all expenses. But what pisses me off the most is when they lock your thread and then give a bullsh** reason for locking it, so you have to make a new thread that now includes why it shouldn't be locked for that reason. -.-
  2. That requires pasting and manual editing.....this doesn't. You hit one button and get a cropped picture saved to a predetermined folder.
  3. Can't see why anyone would want a pile of 300m cash sitting in their bank after they've purchased all the godswords, GWD armors, dfs, fury, all the rings, mage's book, etc. instead of a partyhat and some leftover cash.
  4. LOL! (yep, that much emphasis) at using uncut dragonstones to transfer. In fact, LOL! (same emphasis) at using most of the methods to transfer...there's only one smart way to do it nowadays. :
  5. And in my opinion you are absolutely 100% correct in saying that, except I'd call them "idiot capes" versus "noob capes"... When I see a slayer/herb/craft/fm/fletch cape I don't admire the cape, I laugh at the idiot. Honestly, cooking cape gets more respect than slayer cape from me. Shoot me.
  6. With past items that had a higher street value than market value, there were multiple ways to obtain the item if one wanted it badly enough. You had the option to place an offer in the ge and hope that it eventually went through or you could do clues, go to god wars dungeon, kill mithril dragons, etc. until you obtained your desired item. With partyhats however, there is only one way to obtain one and that is by purchasing it from another player. This combined with the fact that there are no more coming into the game means that if partyhat owners are smart they could in fact hold out for a very long time. The thing that's been the problem up until this point is people were scared that they wouldn't be able to sell the partyhat later on if they purchased it, but now that there is a live market the demand is going to flourish. Who wants a super expensive item that is only useful for looks and can't be sold if ever you decide you want to spend some of that money? Very few players. Who wants a rare partyhat that is rising by millions per day and can be sold in an instant? A lot of players.
  7. The best incentive to get f2p players to subscribe to members would be to completely remove f2p in its entirety. This would force them to make the decision of getting members or quit. While some would quit due to not being able to pay or simply not wanting to pay, many would undoubtedly subscribe.
  8. In all honesty this entire thread should be locked...it's openly saying that users on the RSOF are stupid - which is no different than me saying "Tip.It Forums - The Stupidity is amazing", and a thread such as that would surely get locked would it not?
  9. I've decided that I thought you were an idiot long before this thread, and I'm not trying to harass anyone...I observed something that I thought humorous and commented on it, then you got into your "respond to everything mad says" mode. P.S. - This isn't the internet! This.........is.........SPART!!!
  10. And by then something new will have come along, epic win.
  11. Not going to bother responding to your other comments as you misinterpreted what I said. As for this one, I don't hate you....I just think you're an idiot, and I'm a co-founder of the I-think-Zierro's-an-idiot Club.
  12. Nope, it just looks as if you ignore all of them until one presents room for your argument, then you jump right in...and if you do agree with the rest of them then you wouldn't have bothered responding to that one the way you did. All the posts pretty much summed up that "skiller" does not in fact really mean no combat...thus your question had already been answered. P.S. - I said it looks funny, which is an opinion held by me.
  13. If people want to think of combat skills as not being a part of a skiller, let them...if people want to think of combat skills as being part of a skiller, let them. There's no right or wrong answer. And oh my Santa, settle down Maddest. And Zierro, I think it's funny how you didn't bother responding to any of the comments that included combat in skilling, but instead waited until someone posted something that invited your argument back in to reply.
  14. :o  Ignorance. Pure ignorance... Calling a Canadian "American" is like calling a New Zealander an Aussie.... You just don't do it. Canada is on the continent of North *America*.
  15. If you continue to play (as well as Blood Argon) then you, as well as he, are both extremely dumb to say the least. Hell, even if you've both quit that doesn't change much because playing a game =/= wasting your life, otherwise they could just reply with "oh you read books, have fun wasting your life more than I do" or "you watch tv, nice waste of a life right there". My point is that it's all opinion, and if your opinion is that rs wastes your life and yet continue to play the game, you're dumb. OT - I'm sure there are a lot of "veterans" that hop onto secondary accounts once in a while and then get talked down to by other players simply because they are higher level or something along those lines, which leads to them saying "well I've been playing since [year] so I'll just ignore you" or something similar.
  16. Pikmin, it's not a bug. Just makes me laugh at all those people who take everything JaGex says as truth. So what do you suggest we do? Ignore everything that they say? -.- If what they say is silly, then yes. P.S. - most of what they say is silly.

  18. Another quality post by Soma. You guys need to start listening to this one more often. While I usually agree with Soma, I'm afraid this time I can't. Mod Kathy stated "The only Dragon items that are dropped are corrupt items." which leads me to believe that either she's referring to drops on f2p worlds (in which case well no [cabbage] it's a bug) or that she is pulling information out of her nether regions. If the majority would've been on the happier side of dragon full helms being dropped, they more than likely would've done nothing about them...but instead they got a lot of players complaining to them about how they were once a rare status symbol reserved only for those who can master the mith dragons or something similar, so they changed it. Yay for trying to save face!
  19. Well that's one hell of an "if". Also, since nobody has unlimited money it's also a completely irrelevant and baseless argument. I could just as well say "slayer is easy if you get instant exp" or "getting a phat is easy if you have infinite money", basically "[insert achievement] is easy if you remove the the thing that makes that achievement difficult in the first place". It's like saying that a hard game is easy if you play on god mode. Fascinating but doesn't change the fact that the game is still hard. I know, I was around when it came out, hell it was my first 99. Gathering the huge amount of cash was anything but easy. Factoring in the time it takes to make those millions and you'll realize that your plan is anything but easy. Speaking from personal experience, all of the buyable skills are faster to get 99 in than the non-buyable ones even with including the time it takes to make the money since making money is probably the easiest thing to do in the game. I've started with nothing, made 100 million, got hacked down to under 10, made over 500 million, got hacked to nothing, made over 200 hundred million, got hacked under 30m and made my way up over 750 million in my rs career, and each time I made the money back after losing it within a couple/few months. Now to get on topic, the easiest skill is any skill a 5 year old could do...which is pretty much all of them, but slayer and farming would probably provide problems for them, as would summoning provided you didn't have everything set up with the charms and shards already.
  20. If you don't like 1 itemers, instead of making a rant about them....do something about it, like maybe make them lose their item? Or does that seem too intelligent? -.-
  21. Just use awesome music in which the artists don't care if you use it because it helps spread it.
  22. Brando, you keep on saying it's a bug when it's clear that it's not a bug in the code sense, and if you look at it as a bug in the "it's not what the programmers intended to happen" sense, then most of the game is a bug... And if they were to change it, that in no way, shape, or form means that it was a bug...they've changed a million things that weren't bugs.
  23. Going off your logic, it's a bug to deposit willow logs in the BA deposit box, since that was intended to deposit stuff you couldn't take into BA, NOT to act as a bank for willow logs. Another example, the stepping stones to get to the lighthouse, I can't say for sure as I haven't tested, but I'd be willing to bet they act similar to the wilderness ditch. It's also a bug to drop your expensive item when you're about to die and then run back to get it because you ran out of prayer, it was never their intention that you keep your items if you run out of prayer and are skulled... Your "intention" argument is seriously flawed. Anyways, it's clear that they intended for projectiles to be allowed over the ditch (so players could kill the skeletons or whatever on the other side), as well as players being able to jump from one side to the other without restriction (because players would inevitably complain like hell and they'd have to change it anyways). There is no bug, thus no bug abusing going on...however, they may decide to change it if they wish (which they won't) but that in itself wouldn't make it a bug.
  24. "I spent months killing mith dragons trying to get a dragon full helm" "I spent months killing my friend who had 25k with him each time trying to get a dragon full helm" Oh, looks like those two players are in the same boat....there's nothing wrong with it. Besides, I think they've removed it from the drops anyways.
  25. If you think about it, JaGex had the option to either include all the high end items that ARE used in PvP - this would include godswords, the new shields, bandos armour, armadyl armour, etc...or they could just include items that aren't really used in PvP but are still valuable, only to a lesser extent - some treasure trail items like the god armours, dragon armours, etc. - while excluding those huge ticket items from the generated drops (of course the opportunity to pk them still exists if they were to lose it when they die).
