That wasn't a homosexual scandal but more of pedophiles taking advantage of how much the common citizen trusted the local clergy members. Ireland had 1 of the biggest scandals of it and basically what happened is Catholic clergy members would sexually assault young boys, when they told their parents the parents often wouldn't believe them resulting in the clergy members getting off free.

How so, I debated in a normal fashion, I never said once religion is a stupid belief, my view is all beliefs are the same, unproven, therefore all beliefs are equal in how smart / dumb they sound. Actually it's not irrelevant at all, if you were sitting in a building filled with people condemning Americans would you sit back and act "respectful", I highly doubt you would. Neither can science be proven before the big bang. Neither side can prove where the universe came from, one follows a book where the world was created in 6 days, the other doesn't have enough evidence earlier than the big bang. If I'm not mistaken is the Catholic church one of the most anti-homosexual of Christian churches? From the short time I followed that churches belief it certainly didn't seem like they endorsed them or encouraged them. I directed more than 3 questions towards you, please answer them instead of the 1's that just suit you :roll: The churches belief is based on the bible, the priests words are most often based on the bible, the bible condemns homosexuals, therefore the church condemns them and is disrespectful to them. what were they doing which was antagonizing people may I ask?

Care to back up those claims of them being trolls with some form of evidence? I'm yet to meet a homosexual person I don't get on with, they're usually nicer people than heterosexual males (wells that what I've found anyway) Why should a homosexual be respectful in a place that is condemning them? If you were in a building full of people talking disrespectively about America would you just sit down and be "respectful"? I highly doubt you would. Why should Asians, Mexicans, Europeans get money to hold days of celebration / pride? What makes them more deserving than a homosexual? Nothing, they're just people like a homosexual is. Minorities often hold pride days, that's why white pride days or heterosexual pride days are non-existent. Let the minorities celebrate being different to the majority, individualism and diversity is what keeps society running, can you imagine a society where everyone acted the same?

I'm guessing you celebrate 4th of July. I'm also guessing you act different on this day and wear blue or red clothing? Well a gay pride day is a essentially the same as 4th of July to a Homosexual, so you therefore are being a hypocrite if you celebrate 4th of July by acting differently and wearing clothing you normally don't wear. Also it's been proven many homosexual men have a over active amount of feminine hormones than the average male, this leads to them speaking and acting more like a woman, they can't control it. Nope it would be to celebrate the birth of your respective nation, only immature and petty people would deliberately do something like that to piss people off. My best friend is a homosexual, I've been to a gay pride parade with him before, they are just their to have fun, meet people like them and celebrate their sexuality. Also the whole "assless leather chaps" is just a stereotype, have you ever even been to a gay pride parade / festival before or are you just pulling random [cabbage] facts out of your arse?

There is some guns which I think should be completely outlawed. Assault rifles serve no use to society other than in the hands of a well trained law enforcement worker or army member. If a person is breaking into your house do you need a gun capable of firing 30 bullets in less seconds? No you don't. As far as I'm concerned allow well trained and responsible citizens keep handguns for safety purposes in their home or in their business place. Don't just sell a gun to anyone, make them pass gun safety tests, look into their background, look for any minuscule reason why they shouldn't have a gun, if there is none then allow them to own a handgun or hunting rifle, is there any need for any other form of gun? No. I still prefer living in Ireland where we have all guns outlawed other than hunting rifles ans very little gun problems, mostly only associated with the drug gangs of Dublin, than living in gun happy America.

They have 2 kids and the only thing he asks of her is that his 2 children don't eat pork. My uncle doesn't support the actions of Al-Qaeda nor does he support the Jihad against America. Not every Muslim forces their beliefs on others nor supports the Jihad and the works of Al-Qaeda. Not every Muslim believes in Sharia law nor endorses it. See a psychiatrist, seriously something must be wrong if a book does that much damage to you mentally. Not being able to sleep and vomiting after you have nothing left in your stomach are very serious things, the latter is extremely risky and inconsistent and it can also lead to further problems. See a psychiatrist for losing sleep and other mentality problems, see a gp about your stomach problems, if they can't help you they'll refer you to your local hospital / specialist.

Jack what do you expect people to do after being locked up in "Gitmo"? They're placed there without a fair trial, they're denied many basic things, they have racial and sectarian slurs said to them daily by guards and the cell linings are known to cause acute headaches, now imagine having acute headaches and the others thing I've mentioned for 6 months to possibly 3 years. People will want revenge, they will want revenge against the people who put them into that [cabbage] hole. Do you honestly expect them to go back to their home and live life as if nothing happened? If I was in their situation I'd be straight up to my local Al-Qaeda camp as soon as I was released from "Gitmo" looking for revenge.

How can you jail someone for being part of a terrorist organization outside the USA who have done no crime towards America? If they've done no crime towards the USA then what legally allows you to jail them? That's like me arresting a member of the "KKK" just for example and throwing them into a Irish jail without trial.

Ok, so you justify people being put into basically a prison camp without trial just because the CIA, FBI or army says they're terrorists. You're country is full of contradictions, you love your "freedom" yet you don't mind imprisoning people without a fair trial, yet alone even a trial and you don't mind imposing democracy and capitalism on Iraq. Also that Sheriff in Arizona offers a choice to inmates, they can have a reduced sentence and live "tent city" as he calls it or stand their normal sentence but have a indoor cell.

Letters to families often aren't even sent, letters from families often arrive months late and your only form of exercise is 30 minutes in the exercise chamber each day while arrogant soldiers shout racist and sectarian slurs at you. Just because it's the "war on terror" doesn't make them any less of a prisoner than an American prisoner, all prisoners of Guantanamo bay deserve a fair trial, none of them receive these, instead they get a "military tribunal", quite obvious what kind of verdict will come from them :roll: Read "Enemy combatant" by Mozzam Begg, he was falsely imprisoned there and released. It's a very good read if you want to know how they're actually treated there.

That's utter rubbish. We have reports of Islamist terror groups all the time. The front page of the BBC website today had a story about the overturning of a conviction against the Islamist terrorists who allegedly conducted the Madrid train bombings. It could have been the statistics about crime in this country which were published today. Could have been about Robert Murat. But no, absolutely nothing to do with us at all, but it was still on there. Whenever a Muslim is arrested, it's "A Muslim man has been arrested for burglary". Right, so he burgled because he was a Muslim? I doubt it. On the other hand, you never hear, "An atheist man has been arrested...". There is still a quite blatant stereotype, even if people don't realise they have it. You're more likely to get run over by a car, but all we ever hear about is terrorism. I for one only call someone an Islamophobe when they make wholly unjustified remarks about Muslims. Remarks such as "They don't really come here to work", or "They just sponge off the state", or "They're all ticking timebombs". I've no problems with people connecting terrorism to Islamic Fundamentalism. Maybe in europe. In the U.S. we are overrun by political correctness. political correctness you say? If you're going to ask someone to learn English then at least learn to use grammar and correct spelling yourself or you just look like an idiot. :lol: I've pretty much met all my friends through school or other friends, never really made random friends. There is 1 guy who I've been in school with for the last 5 years, we're not best friends but we're good mates, we've done some pretty crazy [cabbage] together :lol: All of my friends now are a pretty random group, we all live about 5 miles from each other at most and the whole group goes to 6 different schools in total, could even be 7. We're all a group of friends of friends kinda thing who became good friends. Pretty cool group as well, we don't call ourselves the cool group or anything, we just hang out and act as we do, much better than trying to fit in with the "popular" group where you have to act different, the "popular" group doesn't get up to much anyway :lol: (been there, hung out with that)
