Pros: - Dragon Axe prices increase - Dag Kings worth doing more to balance it - Macros buy it for like 3m, which they pay out of their own pocket, thus reducing the amount they have to sell to people - Banning macros with Dragon axes decreases the amount of gold in the game. The axe head random didn't do jack [cabbage] to autoers, yet it cost many people millions. Macros use rune axes, which are practically free to replace. Meanwhile, a normal player has his dragon axe head fly off and is browsing forums.... So he loses it. It's not fair. And don't give me that [cabbage] about paying attention: are you HONESTLY going to sit there and watch your character chop a tree for hours on end?

Yes, the Ranged helm is the only one worth using. You sacrifice too much defense with melee, and Magic is just....Pathetic. Seeing as the robes are magical robes, they should definately give a magic attack bonus -_-'

Yes, if you have ever used Dharoks, you'd know it's only truly effective in 1v1 combat. You rarely ever hit above 60 with it, and with the entire arena being multi-combat, you'd easily get KOed. And as far as it being a team game, having separate level portals wouldn't change that. It'd only level the playing field, so it's lower vs lower and higher vs higher... It'd still require just as much if not more team-work to win, seeing as you couldn't rely on one person who is far higher than the rest to carry the team on his or her back. But BACK ON TOPIC! I believe the VK armor will add a powerful element to PKing, as the VK armor has relatively the same melee defense as d hides, but gives a significant boost in damage. The "accuracy" boost may even make up for the lost ranged bonuses; the only downside is it's not easily replaceable and it doesn't give nearly as much magic defense as black hides/karils.

Well, I have a feeling that CW may be on the list for updates... We can only cross our fingers. I would've never guessed that they'd fix PC, so it's entirely possible that they will fix CW. I hope for four things: 1) Flags go back to their base when dropped. 2) A level separation system similar to PC. A game with all 100+ against each other is far more fair and more fun than a game with two level 126s and a bunch of level 60s. 3) HELMS. I think they should make it where you have to purchase a special item for 1000 CW tickets, which when worn in your amulet spot enables you to use a helmet. This would make it balanced, as you would sacrifice quite a bit of offense and defense (with a fury) but be able to use Barrow effects. 4) Stat boost on CW armor. 'Nuff said. Erm, sorry for getting off on that tangent. I just thought it was appropriate to mention the possibility of them updating CW, as they updated PC. It's been one of the most frequently ranted about issues, along with PC, so if Jagex's current streak of trying to appease the Customers proves true, CW should be fairly high on the list of priorities.

That's actually quite useful for Ranged... Not so much for the other classes.... So you sacrifice quite a bit of accuracy for a fairly large power boost with ranged damage. Shame you can't use that in CW.

Sorry for wanting to keep my IQ above above at least 70... Typing the way you type is actually slower for me because I actually have to think about how to spell things wrong rather than spell things right which is second nature for me. I think breaking any rule is as bad as breaking another rule. Whether you use a macro, drop trade, or real world trade. When you think about, all you are is a rule breaker. I don't care if you were bug abusing to gain an advantage or macroing or drop trading. You are still a rule breaker to me and I will not affiliate myself with the scum of runescape. QFT. It honestly is not that much faster "2 typ lik dis." And, tbh, it's worth it to take five extra seconds to type correctly, otherwise you end up looking like an uneducated fool.

They usually picked up the rune plate and left the rest. At the time it had just started but after about 30 minutes there were smaller "looter teams" already forming and picking it all up. No, the rune plate protects. That's why you rarely see it.

I've never gotten a rune kill or any other PK in which the person dropped over 10k worth of junk. However, I guess you could say that getting my first (and as of right now, only) whip drop could count. I saw it and was like "HELL ****ING YEAH!!!! OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG!!!!" What was funny was just before I had gotten it, I was talking to my friend about how he got a whip PK from a gold farmer at the Green Drags who skulled on him by accident. I just told him "I've never had a whip drop of any sort." And then BAM, I see "Take: Abyssal Whip, Ashes."

That seems to be happening to me. Ever since I got 85 slayer, I have not had much interest in the game. Whips are far too rare. There is not much left for me to do... In the past few days, I found myself logging in, spending an hour or two and then logging off to play CSS.

Spending over six months getting 85 slayer and then realizing you wasted all that time once you go 18+ hours without a whip.

The majority of the community IS bad. Go to any competitive area, such as CW/Fight Pits/Wildy and you'll see all too clearly how immature and generally despicable most people are.

It irks the **** out of me when people do that. It's like there was a level 94 at the Lighthouse who was purposely running across the room to kill the Dagganoth I was killing. After four times, I said "Wth is your problem?" He promptly responded with "reported, noob!" And then I said "Reported for what? Wth isn't offensive." I then continued my assignment, and he continued to attack the ones I was... I then said "Why are you doing this? Are you jealous just because I am better than you?" to which he replied "Yes." After that, I laughed and then just hopped worlds. :boohoo:

Not always. To be quite honest, I'd actually put my money on the 91 91 91 99 in that fight. It seems there is a hidden "handicap" that benefits lower levels in PvP. Just the other day, I funned a friend in the duel arena, with no pots/pray/movement. She is level 110, with 86 96 86 91... I am 99 99 99 99... She beat me with 3/4 of her HP left. Oh, and I had the near max melee defense possible (385 of 388 slash) and she was wearing full Dragon. In this game, being higher leveled only makes a difference in PvP if you are 20+ combat levels above somebody.

Well, with any luck, we may see some changes implemented into CW within the next few months... It seems Jagex finally got their collective head out of their arse, and are actually listening to their customers. The last several updates have been things that players have ranted about ceaselessly.... And Castle Wars is among one of the many things that has been ranted about day in and day out, so I hope that it's on their agenda of things to fix. :pray:

You missed the point, we don't want to hear how you think other people will react. Would YOU individually be ready to give up a years' updates for a Rs3? I would. I've already lived this between the transition of Rs1 to Rs2. I don't like the updates they are making, it's just wind to keep people occupied and paying. I agree. There is plenty to do in RS as it is... I would gladly trade a year of updates (90% of which are pointless) for a better engine that gets rid of that "double-take" bug, that fixes many of the current bugs like tagging (pve and pvp) and that gets rid of the macroers. Graphics don't really make a difference to me. I just want them to fix many of the nuances that severely impact the gameplay. Oh, and also I would want a rewritten combat system so that someone with 74 83 70 80 cannot kill someone who is 90 99 85 93. In other words, make it so that defense and attack have a far greater impact on the outcome of a battle. The RNG system they currently have is infuriating.

On topic: I like the idea of getting additional slayer exp for using the Leaf Blade/Broad Arrows/Slayer Dart, WHEN ON A SLAYER ASSIGNMENT. You should get 1 exp per damage with those, so that if you had a dust devil assignment and killed them with only broad arrows, you'd receive 210 slayer exp per kill instead of 105. Oh, and they would need to increase the shop price of the spears and arrows, and slightly increase the spell cost to help balance it out.

Since you took the initiative to bash stats by calling me a PC product, I would like to point out that your highest stat is 72 HP, and that I have more experience in any one of my combat stats than you have on your entire account. Try raising your skills and making money honorably, rather than stealing the items of other players. :x PS: You accused me of never doing DKs, when it's highly unlikely you ever did them, yourself, with those stats.

Regardless of how they were MEANT to be fight, it's the most efficient way to kill them now. And I am NOT a PC product. I have played since RSC, dude. Oh, and do you see 85 slayer? Tell me again I am a PC product. FYI, 99 99 99 only requires 39m combat exp, which does not equal 13m HP exp. Oh, and if you had bothered to check the Hiscores, you'd see I am around 35k from 99 HP.
