  1. Yes, they are spot on with the community. However, they are wrong about the updates... This summer has been chock full of high-level content, and more importantly, remedies to some of the most annoying little quirks in the game. To be quite honest, Jagex has done an exceptional job with updates since about three months ago. All that is left for them to do, imo, is a major overhaul of Castle Wars. If they did that, there would be nothing else I could ask for from them, except maybe to make defense more powerful in combat, but that would take an extremely long time to do.
  2. Wow... They need to make CW armor the best armor in the game  It is certainly the hardest to achieve. It takes 2900 tickets, I believe, to get full Gold Armor. So, using that formula: 2900/2 = 1450 games 1450*20= 29000 minutes 29000/60= 483 hours, if you win EVERY SINGLE GAME. Let's say you craft 1k nats per hour... In that same amount of time, you would have 483k nats, which if you sell for 300 each, equals 144.9M GP, less 41.055M for the P ess at 85 each. Therefore, supposing you win EVERY SINGLE GAME, you would be theoretically be paying 103.845M in lost potential profits for full gold cw armor. Yet it has stats equal to Adamantite. Isn't that absurd?
  3. Well, let's all hope that you never become a J-mod. The game would go to [cabbage] then.
  4. I would make the censor optional and rewrite the code for defense, so that it reduces your opponent's maximum hit, while armor determines how often they hit.
  5. The first day I became a member, I paid 3m for a Dragon Medium Helm. This was several years ago, back in RSC.
  6. Quitting Runescape is not an achievement. On the other hand, quitting FOR GOOD is commendable. The game is like meth; once you get hooked, you may be able to kick it temporarily, but you'll always come crawling back to it.
  7. +1 I love the clan chat, tbh, though. My computer doesn't like IRC, so that is not an option for me. This feature makes communicating with clan members so much easier, and it also frees up some room on my friends list. The clan chat is also a great way to pass the time while doing monotonous tasks like alching or fishing, as well! \
  8. That is true. However, there was no need for everyone pointing fingers at the TC for getting muted.
  9. To all the people saying "z0mg u did teh crime now u must pay teh price lol!" please just STFU. He was muted for spamming at a clan event, most likely "XXX on Player YYY" which all clans do. He was just unfortunate enough to have been reported by some wanna-be mod with no life. I have been temp-muted before by a [bleep]wad player mod just for saying "rawr I'll bite you <3" to one of my friends when she said "bite me" to someone else. Not all mutes are deserved.
  10. You're right but if u 'hide' it doesnt that section buttun flash? Thats annoying dont you think? Nah, I can live with it. It's a trade off, and it is imo, the lesser of the two evils.
  11. Tbh, the best part about this update was the fact that you can now finally censor all that "You catch a lobster" chat spam. =D>
  12. Was that really necessary? Yes. mIRC is so much better then this crap chat. No filter, and a hell of a lot less complicated. Was your post really necessary? My first post contributed more the topic then yours did, so was your post in fact necessary? Of course this chat had the same censor... But what did you really expect? It's still better than nothing.
  13. Trade chat isn't what it appeared to be. Jagex should've made it where it shows what people whom you are currently trading with say. Way to fail :-#
  14. Level =\= Intelligence. No, but level generally corresponds with knowledge about the game. Someone who is level 110 is far more likely to abide by the rules of the game and be helpful to the community than someone who is level 60...
  15. I actually have less respect for player mods than I do normal players; that is, unless they earn my respect. I know and am friends with several player mods, so they aren't all corrupt... However, more often than not, when I see a level 70 p-mod, I can assume he is ignorant and does not deserve his power.
  16. Verac Helm Dharok Plate Dharok Legs Rune boots Whip Dragonfire Shield Zerker Ring Barrow Gloves HP Cape (Don't have fire cape, yet)
  17. I forsee either a dragon pick or dragon boots. Those would be the most logical choices for Jagex to release... I seriously hope that the Godsword entails a very long and convoluted mini-quest to obtain, and is not just another stereotypical luck-of-the-drop kind of thing that is useless to all but the extremely lucky and merchants with exorbant amounts of money.
  18. They need to modify the code so that each HP level gives you two actual hit points of life.
  19. I believe that they will be coming out with the Dragon Pickaxe. A dragonplate body is an asinine idea, and a dragon kite would be pointless, after the release of the Dragonfire shield. :uhh:
  20. I am quite concerned about the dungeon. If it is actually in the wilderness, then it will be totally worthless. It will be just like the Chaos Elemental, as in anyone who gets anything will be piled by one-itemers and pures. Oh, and if the Godsword replaces the whip, it damn well better be untradable... Or else I guarantee there will be riots about it. I will be among the rioters; it will completely devalue slayer and all the time many people put into it.
  21. 85/85 Slayer 99/99 HP 99/99 Def 123/123 combat All my summer goals have been completed. :P
  22. It's just like any other staff, except you can autocast claws of guthix with it. Whoever told you that was full of [cabbage]. #-o
  23. I remember when I traded a red party hat + 400k for a rune battle axe and I got a good deal on it.
  24. 6 posts says it all. Go back to the RSOF if you have to post such incoherent, grammatically flawed garble.
