  1. I traded a red party hat + 400k for a rune battleaxe  And I got the better deal, back then.
  2. I got an extra Verac and Karil skirt from barrows and haven't had a chance to sell them yet. Besides, I didn't really have anything else to take up those inventory spaces :uhh:
  3. Heh heh, hold on. I am going to participate :ohnoes: Let me get the pic
  4. Very true. The game is completely one dimensional... There is no variety to weaponry, like there is in other rpgs. You do not gain an advantage by using certain types of weapons, even though they intended it that way with the slash/stab/crush system... The abyssal whip is the end-all-be-all. The same applies to armor... There is no point in wearing anything other than barrow armor, as it is far superior to everything else. Jagex has boxed themselves into a corner content-wise by making the game so linear. Unless drastic changes are made in the way combat operates, the game will likely not last past 2010. One way to make combat more diverse is to add damage bonuses/handicaps against certain types of armor with certain types of weapons.. For example, when using Stab against chainmail, your max hit is +5 higher than normal. However, when using crush against chain mail, your max hit is -5 less than normal. This would make combat require more strategy and add purpose to more archaic weapons, like warhammers and spears. They also need to make armor enchantable, with each enchant giving both an advantage AND a disadvantage. Say, sapphire enchant on Rune armor gives it a prayer bonus of +2 but reduces strength by -2. They need MODIFICATIONS instead of COMPLETELY NEW stuff, but when the armor is modified, it requires a higher defense level. This is the only way to add diversity to the game, in addition to filling in the end levels (80-99) while still not totally overpowering anything.
  5. Actually, they can enforce this to some degree. The only rule that is impossible to enforce is the "account interaction" rule... It's impossible to prove that someone is transfering items between two of their own accounts. Such is the reason you see so many level 35 pures with blue party hats/ranger sets and furies.
  6. Imo, these topics are pointless. I mean, what if a meteor crashed into the Earth? What if Andrew got hit by a bus? There is an endless number of 'what ifs,' so it's a waste of time pondering about it.
  7. Nice work, Thing. And tbh, I had hoped for a DD on the actual GW dungeon... Not something about the music, which I couldn't care less about. :notalk:
  8. My best trade was when I went to Varrock West Bank to help a friend transfer a holy symbol so he could do TGBR. Well as I was waiting for him to get there, I saw someone say "Selling D legs 1m" so I immediately got 1m out and found him. We traded, and I expected it to be a scam, but lo and behold, he accepted. I then went on to sell those legs for 2.5m in World 2.
  9. Aladin Genie, or Runescape Genie? :-k I lol'd at that comment. I plan to try to make Sephiroth later.
  10. Yes, I'd have to say nothing feels better than getting a whip drop.
  11. This is false. It is STILL possible to do the AC emotes as an egg, but it is far more difficult. You will usually fail twenty or thirty times before you get it to work once. Did you know that the Drill Demon has the red head that your Demon Butler has, but Jagex neglected to change his arms? (He still has orange skin, but his head is red. Way to be lazy, Jagex.)
  12. EDIT: Removed inappropriate character image - turtlefemm LMAO
  13. I'd change my name to Zezima. :boohoo: No, actually, I'd probably make mine just "Dragonlord," even though the JL does stand for something. Dragonlord looks cleaner and more refined.
  14. I look like a tramp. :XD: Alms for the poor?
  15. Paid 5m for a Verac Flail, Brassard, and 2x Skirts. It was the one time I didn't check the second trade screen thoroughly. Murphey's Law. :wall:
  16. Tbh, I have NEVER had my connection cut out when there wasn't something seriously wrong on my side. The few occasions in which I have experienced dcs were when my Router died, there was a heavy storm that disrupted wireless, or when my cable provider [bleep]ed up. Every time was on my end, not theirs, so I do not really see this as noteworthy issue. However, with that said, I frequently have my game crash in World 2 falador. Is that normal? I do not remember that happening before the Engine update, but now, I will be walking and then everything will just freeze. I have to X-out at that point.
  17. I trained with Gearshifter and Lilyuffie88 at the Taverly dragons when they were both racing for 123 combat (it was the max level in RSC; needed 93 prayer for it, IIRC.) I am friends with Bwareofmef, and Winner21 (8th in farming) is in my clan.
  18. Fix the combat system. 1) Make defense far more potent. With the escalating max hits, defense needs to be reprogrammed to reduce your opponent's max hit, and let armor determine the frequency of hits. 2) Make it where as soon as you land a hit, you are IN COMBAT. Currently, you need to land 2-3 hits before you are actually considered "in combat," which is plenty of time for another NPC or player to tag you.
  19. I think the skirts look cooler in general, but legs look better on guys when combined with the chainbody. And tbh, I agree with the option: "gj wasting your life insulting pixels." Back when I got members, I bought a dragon skirt for 900k (d legs were 3m at the time) and was proud of it. \
  20. This happened two days ago: I was barrowing, and was out of food in the tunnel, but I had guthans on me so I thought I would be fine. I healed to full and then I fought Ahrim, and he was hitting me hard through my karils armor, but I didn't want to tele. Right as I dealt the killing blow, he hit a 20, reducing me to 8 HP. I immediately teleported out, but I could've been one hit if a skeleton had attacked me. :ohnoes: I would've lost guth spear, fury, guth helm, whip, seer's ring, rune boots, barrow gloves, karil top and bottom, dds, and a bunch of runes. I would've kept my DFS, guth plate, and guth skirt. :wall: Oh, and the stupidest time I actually died was at the iron dragons: I ran in like I usually do, but got hit a 16 with protect melee on. I didn't understand what happened, so then he hit a 20 on me. At that point, I realized that I had brought my rune defender instead of my anti-dragon shield, and panicked. Instead of using the teleports that I had on me, I tried to outrun the fireballs, getting hit twice more. Right as I was by the black demons, I got dealt the finishing blow, and kneeled. I lost a black mask, obby cape, berserker ring, and a bunch of pots. That's the worst time I have actually died.
  21. Jagex is totally asinine when it comes to bannings. Okay, some noob player mod muted me for saying "I'll bite you <3" to a friend after she told another friend to bite her. Then, when I got my evidence, they added another black mark, apparently for "spamming" that I did over six months ago... I was lagging at PC, so I typed "laaaag asdkjglkasdjglaksdjg" and some wanna be mod apparently reported me. I honestly think they need to make a skill total requirement in order to report people; it'd cut down on a lot of the [cabbage] reports that noobs send in.
  22. Well, what I think the Godsword will be is something similar to the Dragonfire shield, in that you have to power it up for it to be completely useful. I predict it will be a two handed sword, but be very powerful. They could not make a weapon that is as fast as the whip with a higher strength bonus, as players only have 99 HP can you can already hit up to 46s with a whip. Being able to hit above 50s with the speed of a whip would ruin combat.
  23. And yet, with all those millions, the company can't provide reasonable service to answer simple questions from paying customers. ~q Exactly. Jagex has more than enough money to spend on staff, it's time they cut the kiddie-crap and actually stepped things up a notch. They need to tone down the censor, so at least words like crap, damn, and sucks are not censored. I can see censoring gay, b****, [bleep], f***, s***, and some security related things like phone.. But it's a 13+ game, so damn should be allowed. They need to buy better servers for the chat; having to say sentences that are more than ten words long in two messages is highly irritating. They need to hire way more staff to do bot/scammer patrols and to work in CS... Because CS is the most lacking part of the game. It's absolutely horrible; 75% of the time, you receive automated messages based off keywords in your original message. I once took the time to go through the high scores and write down the names of about 20 fishers and woodcutters that have those stats at 99 as their only ranked and gibberish names... I sent a message to Jagex asking why, if they have such sophisticated technology, are these players not banned? I received a message that told me about appealing a ban, and what to do if I am wrongly banned. What the [bleep], Jagex? I wish that J mods would go undercover in world 2 on their personal Player Mod accounts in order to trade with and identify the scammers.... And then perm ban them. Just go to the Verac section: there are at least three to four scammers there perpetually. It's pathetic, and nothing ever gets done about it.
  24. Mm... I bet that plenty of people will lose their warspears down there  And tbh, I believe the dungeon will be non-wilderness, but you will have to go through the wilderness to get to it. There is a black spot in the far northwestern wilderness, and the ice plateau is in the far northwestern wilderness.... And in that preview, the guy is going through an icy area... Which further supports it will be near the ice plateau. I pray that Jagex isn't daft enough to make the dungeon actually in the wilderness, though. Alas, they proved me wrong once, with the bracelets. #-o And as far as the big red guy, I anticipate either a dragon pickaxe, dragon boots, or the Godsword as his ultimate drop. I hope that the Godsword is NOT tradable, because if it is, it'll be just another thing to benefit rich merchants and lucky low levels who get the drop. Jagex really needs to be more creative with their new items... This "luck of the drop" thing is getting really old. It is a shame that luck is more beneficial than having high skills, in this game. A new tradable weapon that is overpowered will also destroy the economy for whips, putting over 10k people out of work. :ohnoes:
  25. I agree... Offensive Language is a very minor offense, and usually does not warrant a permanent mute unless go totally overboard with it.
