  1. Imo, d chain is semi-rare from the KQ. 1 in 100 isn't exactly "rare." 1 in 400 (the argued drop rate for whips from abby demons) is rare.
  2. I think it should have its own forum. And just to differentiate for people: A debate and a rant are similar, just like a rant and a suggestion are similar. A good rant includes a suggestion of how to remedy the problem. A debate is a rant that places more emphasis on the intellectual side, exploring all the options that are available, as well as the consequences to those options. A rant is less thorough in content and more superficial in nature, in comparison with a debate. Debates also tend to be more open-ended than rants.
  3. With poison, the level 3s would stand a chance. Without it, it'd be a massacre.
  4. Yep. I agree, completely, Ginger. Jagex has shown some signs of hope recently, with the shift to higher level updates... But there are still so many relatively simple issues that impact the game far more than a stupid quest here or there.. Such as the House Lures and the Shantay Pass holdup... As well as the calamity that is the Wilderness. They need to hire more staff to test their product, hire more staff to deal with CS (which is absolutely horrible) and hire more staff to deal with the cheating/scamming epidemics. Hell, I've pleaded for ages for Jagex to send employees undercover on P mod accounts to World 2 falador to police the numerous partner scammers, bone scammers, and Barrow Set scammers. It's blatantly obvious, too... When a level 56 is selling Full Veracs for 400k less than everybody else, 1m says that he is using the 2x skirt scam. It's pathetic, and what's worse is I see the same people there week after week, scamming to their hearts' content.
  5. You are right it seems, so if theres this level 3 skiller from China, not talking because he doesn't understand much english, he gets banned because of Jagex's stance, seriously if some fat [bleep] can win a suit against a fast food company for making him fat, then how can Jagex hope to win if someone takes that statement the wrong way? Actually, the suit against Mcdonald's was thrown out of the court. And KDB brings up a very good point, which I've also said before, myself. If Jagex really wanted to get rid of the Macroer problem, they'd hire staff whose sole job is to "bounty hunt" macroers. Honestly, when you see people in the top 500 fishing with over 20m fishing experience and no other ranked stats with a gibberish name, it's blatantly obvious that Jagex is not doing close to everything in their power to control this epidemic. And I agree with Ginger, I believe they are bluffing. I kind of believe that they are so concerned with their profits that they purposely don't do everything they can to control the epidemic because Macroers provide a large sum of money for them. Oh, and while the recent increase in Teleporting Randoms does help control the macroers, it is also detrimental to regular players. Hell, I wouldn't mind it if they would just get rid of all the other BS randoms like the Sandwich Lady, MoM Box, and Miles/Giles/Niles. It isn't like those Randoms do anything at all, other that severely inconvenience legit players.
  6. I do agree they look a little strange, but the model is used again, so I doubt they will change. (Hey, that rhymed o.O) Btw, I can kill them with a Wild Pie PS: For anyone wondering, the Shifters in Pest Control have the same model as an Abby Demon, just a different color palette.
  7. Well, I know there would be a great deal of discontent if they "nerfed" peoples' levels in CW. However, they should remove the ability to use Ancient Magicks in CW, I agree.
  8. Flagholding is a dirty tactic, but it is not cheating, per se. Any experienced CW team does it, though, because it works. Personally, it would go a long way towards balancing CW if they just added a bloody level requirement to play it. There is nothing that a level 35 can do except fire the catapult (at his own team members), collapse rocks (on his own team members, as well), and set up barricades in highly inconvenient places. If CW had a level requirement of 80, which is fair (especially with PC, now) then I think games would be considerably more balanced. Flagholding is only really effective because most CW teams consist of one level 115+ maybe two level 90s and the rest are 60-... Once the 115+ gets his own flag, none of the other people can hit him.
  9. There is a way to manually bind it to your keyboard, so that you can just hit a key and it will alch.... This is 100% legal, too.
  10. Wrong. They are not random. Despite what you may think, they are on a timer. One by one, all of my friends in edgeville got teleport randoms. When one would come back, within ten seconds, another would get it. #-o
  11. I have noticed a drastic increase in the amount of teleporting Randoms, lately. Yesterday, in the span of TWO hours, I got two Prison Pete twice and three Drill Demons. There has definitely been a change in the frequency of Random Events.
  12. Yeah that is what I had in mind for it. In my suggestion, basically I created a table of smithing and crafting requirements to add a gem to a sword or battle-axe, which is more or less the same principal as "socketing." Ah, the good ol' days of D2... Too bad that game is so easy...
  13. You mean the "Rolling Egg"? On topic, I still see no difference after 300 coal mined. No, you used to be able to easily perform your skill cape emotes while in Egg form... You move the ring to the bottom right corner, have the scrollbar for the Emotes page at the bottom, click the Ring and then quickly right-click the emote. Before, it would transform you into the Egg, but you would still have the right-click menu for the emote up, allowing you to perform it. Now, it no longer allows you to right click the emote...
  14. Yeah, even for the requirements, it was a bit overpowered. Now, I removed the HP limit and divided the damage by half. Still, if you allow yourself to get to 1 HP, it can hit up to a 49, which is pretty powerful. You also have to take into account that it'd probably occur as often as the D stone bolt special, so it wouldn't be a guaranteed or even common effect.
  15. If you want to, check out my thread in Bugs & Suggestions.
  16. I like this, especially the race thing. It'd add much-needed diversity to peoples' avatars. By the way, you misspelled height.
  17. Thanks for the imput, people. I have modified my ideas based on your suggestions.
  18. This suggestion details a new modification to the arsenal of weaponry available to adventurers: enchantable gemmed pommels. First of all, any weapon with a gem attached is untradable, so in order to acquire the powerful effects of the enchantments, you have to create the modifications yourself. Note that the weapon pommels ARE tradable, but once they are welded to the weapon, they are no longer able to be traded and drop their value in coins in relation to their selling price at the General Store if you die and lose them. Only swords, halberds and battle axes support the modification. The following table contains the level requirements to add gems to weapons and enchant: In order to modify a weapon with a gem, you must have a hammer, chisel, the cut gem, and the weapon in your inventory. Use the hammer on the gem and it will ask how many weapon pommels you wish to make (1, 5, 10, all). You get one pommel per gem. Once you acquire a pommel, take it and the weapon to a furnace and use the weapon on the furnace to attach it. Every kind of weapon pommel adds +5 slash and +2 strength. The enchantments are as follows: Sapphire: Icy Touch: There is a chance that upon striking an opponent, the blade will emit an icy aura, freezing your opponent to the ground for 5 seconds. Emerald: Blight: When striking an opponent, there is a chance that the opponent will forfeit 15% strength and defense. The effect can only be used once on any one enemy. Opal: Chain Lightning: There is a chance that upon striking an opponent, a deadly lightning bolt capable of dealing up to 20 damage will be unleashed from the tip of your blade, traveling through up to 9 NPCS within a 4x4 radius. The effect just strikes your current target if you are not in a multi-combat area. Red Topaz: Aura of Zamorak: There is a chance that upon impact, you will siphon the opponentÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s prayer based on 25% of the damage inflicted. Therefore, if you hit a 30, you will steal 7 prayer points from your enemy. *ONLY WORKS ON OTHER PLAYERS* Ruby: Bloodletting: Special attacks deal 30% increased damage at the cost of 10 HP per use. Does not work if you cannot spare the HP. Diamond: Phoenix's Gift: When your HP drops below 30%, you heal 33% of the damage inflicted with every strike. Therefore, if you hit a 30, you would gain 10 HP. Dragonstone: Curse: Chance of negating the usage of combat protection prayers for 20 seconds. *ONLY WORKS ON OTHER PLAYERS* Onyx: Flames of Rage: When the special activates, it deals damage equivalent to the difference between your maximum and current HP, divided by 2. Therefore, if you have 99 HP and are currently at 30 HP and the special activates, the opponent will be hit for 34 damage. **Credit to Sithlord Man for the inspiration for this idea**
  19. I think I am going to make a suggestion about this... I have some neat ideas about enchantable weapon points.
  20. This most disquieting thing I have noticed about the new engine is it is significantly more difficult to do the "Egg Emote" glitch... It's still possible, as I've done it a few times, but now it's completely luck to get it to work, whereas before it was mostly timing with a little luck involved. This more or less makes the Ring of Egg useless, as previously its only real entertaining purpose was to do the Skill Cape emotes while in Egg form.
  21. Yes, that would be completely unreasonable. It'd be the same as Congress passing a law calling for a mass deportation from the US of anyone who is of Arabian descent, as they could potentially be terrorists.
  22. Is this really a debate? Shouldn't this belong in Bugs/Suggestions? :-k Anyway, it'd be nigh impossible to program... But do you mean like add special enchantable tips to the weapons, sort of like the Crossbolts?
